FEAR no more
Appointment with FEAR is such a richly-written and zany humoured choose your own adventure game that I wouldn’t want to take all the fun out of guiding you through its hardships. So how about I bring in four superhero’s who have bested FEAR to guide you along the path and regale you with a story of how they brought this nefarious organisation to justice.

As for the achievements, these are simply a case of being in the right place and choosing the right option...and sometimes requiring an apt superpower too. With such information, I know you achievement hunters will be able to unlock them all whilst enjoying the immense replay value of Appointment with FEAR.
Dark Justice
Super strength and the ability to fly don’t make you a hero, it also requires heart and wits.

As I look back on my triumph over FEAR I realise that there we’re 3 key villainous encounters that lead to that victory; at the airport besting The Tormentor, at Wisneyland apprehending the crazed Scarlet Prankster and at the museum of Egyptian heritage “unravelling” the mystery of Mustapha Kareem.

However, I could not have resolved Titan City’s woes at Wisneyland or the museum of Egyptian heritage if I had not uncovered clues as to the villain’s occluded natures within prior to my visit. Nevertheless, serving justice throughout the city garnered myself these clues that in turn clued myself into the ominous meeting FEAR had planned.
Silver Flame
Solving crimes is a real “blast” compared to my regular day job, but sometimes the stake are so high that it gives you a dark jolt of FEAR…

However, I’m not the sort of girl who gives into her fears, I’m what that wretched Titanium Cyborg and his vile cronies fear. And rightfully so!

My means to besting this fiendish organisation was rather complex and convoluted, necessitating my presence at the dairy to apprehend Chainsaw Bronski, the game section of the department store on my way to work where I extinguished the heated dilemma of the Flame Warriors, schulter mall’s drug store and the “death” of Dr Macabre’s freakish plans, the “home appliance of the future” expo and scrapping the danger of the android to finally bringing Illya Karpov to justice at the football stadium where the Titan Tigers were playing.

After that, I guess you could say that besting the Titanium Cyborg (and thus FEAR) went swimmingly…
The Master
Perhaps I'm not the strongest superhero in Titan City, but I know how to use my mental gifts to best crime. And thus my heroism is often far more subtle than the exploits of Dark Justice or Silver Flame...

Sometimes the most innocuous of crimes can be the key to greater victories when your a paragon of mental prowess, and the path to bringing down FEAR for me followed that trend. Resolving a seemingly trite argument on the streets was the first step towards banishing FEAR, after which I endeavoured to get to work without further a-do. This would later enable myself to capitalise on the information foist from The Poisoner at titan city reservoir. Prior to that however, I took a hair-raising ride on the big dipper at Wisneyland, after which I went shopping looking for a quiet day to clear my mind. In the midst of this attempt, information plucked from the seemingly innocent delivery boy at a bakery was another clue as to casting light on the secrecy of FEAR’s meeting.

An escapade at cowfield dairy with Tiger Cat would be par for the cause of unveiling FEAR's secret meeting and thus ending their reign of terror…
Curious Fir
With a burning desire you can hone yourself into a powerful martial artist. And with a keen intellect you can solve the seemingly unsolvable, and craft a gadget for any occasion to assist you. And so a seemingly ordinary man can become a superhero…

FEAR may best many a superhero, but I proved uniquely talented and equipped to bring them down!

Its curious how seemingly unconnected events can weave together to resolve a problem when you stand back from them and view such things objectively. Though I was unable to “manage” a robbery at the bank, I was able to “wrestle” with a “fishy” problem at the beach. I believe that these events in turn lead myself to apprehend a seemingly average pickpocket on the subway whose hidden secrets I was able to decrypt. See how the mind of a superhero “gumshoe” works? With such a complex design of darkness beginning to manifest, I endeavoured to just relax when the opportunity presented itself.

With a refreshed mind (sort of), I was able to piece together and resolve crime after crime that began to weave more of FEAR’s elaborate tapestry. Bringing the Ringmaster to heel at warnum & walley's travelling circus was relatively easy, which in turn lead me to the Ice Queen (via the swimming pool)…and in turn to Macro Brain trying to foolishly invade the army base. Each time my gadgets proved key in turning the tide against these criminal scum and unveiling FEAR’s meeting.

In the end, I proved to be more than a match for them and the Titanium Cyborg’s corrupt plans were for nought…
