Homesteading Sloop

Description
The homesteading sloop by Radiance Security Systems LDT. is a ship with one purpose: get the crew from point A to point wherever, allowing them to lock the sloop to a suitable asteroid or structure and use its onboard systems to aid in construction of a more permanent home. It comes fully equip with a small cargo/assembler loop and a single gatling turret on the top of the ship to ward off attackers, but this ship was ~NOT~ designed to withstand any sort of oncoming fire.

The entire ship is designed to be as light as possible, and thanks to new solar array technology, runs completely without the need for fuel. No more pit stops to mine uranium here! The ship is also outfitted with the latest in battery technology to better save and utilize those arrays when the sun is hidden from view, or the ship is turned on an odd angle. For best results, gain momentum and then coast. She’s built for long hauls.

The ship is also outfitted with necessary navigation lights per space law, and enough room to comfortably accommodate 3-4 crewmembers. This budget variety sloop may lack the luxuries of some other manufacturers, but for those looking for a ship with a low budget, you can’t beat the Homestead Mk.1

Thank you for the kind words, haha. My one friend took the turret off the top and replaced it with a movable spotlight made with rotors. I tried to keep everything as light and simple as possible, No reactors means it will always be "Safe" as well.

i love this thing for survival, if you spawn a world with only asteroids and this ship, pick an asteroid with a good bit of iron and build your base, when you get the basic structure up, gut this ship and add it to the base.

this is my idea of an "easy start" not that bland thing they give us.
