Error 268.473 cannot find suitable display mode. ?

1. go to \steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto\WINO
2. right click on "Grand Theft Auto.exe" > Properties
3. Compatibility

SET: Windows XP SP 3
SET: Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

After first running need reset settings and restart game

I followed your setup and then started the game and he would show
"This is not the best screen resolution for the main monitor. The optimal resolution is 1920 x 1080. Select this notification to learn more,"
and then he automatically logged out

Oh, and if anyone else has trouble with the game running too fast like I did, I had to set both the game and a cpu slowdown program called Turbo to CPU0 under my affinity settings, and set turbo to run the core at 25% speed

Windows XP (Service Pack 2) worked for me. Thanks! I originally tried going back as far as Windows 95, didn't consider the scaling problem.

save and exit
