Keyboard Remapping and tips
By {XVI} Ravenknight
While searching for an answer to the remapping issue, much ado was made of modifying the "KeyMapping.ini" file. However, the LOCATION of this file was not in the advertised place. Hence:

Look for KeyMappings.ini, open in your favorite editor (be sure to make a backup copy of the file FIRST in case something goes horribly wrong), and viola. You are now free to move about the keymap.
Dealing with multiple function keys
When an individual keybind controls multiple functions, the command must be seperated by a " | " (sans the ""). An example of this in action would be:

...SpecialAction>=GBA_SpecialAction | GBA_TakeCover,SpaceBar,

This should make it easy to identify those functions that are bound to a single key so that you may seperate or add to them if you wish.
Other things that might come in handy
Mouse buttons are labeled thusly: LeftMouseButton, RightMouseButton, MiddleMouseButton, ThumbMouseButton, ThumbMouseButton2, MouseScrollUp, MouseScrollDown

Numberpad keys: NumPadOne, NumPadTwo, etc.

Key syntax appears to be verbose. Examples:
The Esc key would be entered as Escape
The 1 key would be entered as One, 2 as Two, etc
The ] key would be RightBracket.

I'm not sure if anyone else will have this issue, but just in case, I think it's worth mentioning:
After remapping my keys and going back into the game, I had issues with manually reloading. The R button simply stopped working even though the keybind was not touched. After going into the Options menu and manually entering R into the Key Configuration menu, the issue resolved itself.

Another tidbit to remember: when dealing with those rotating switches while in your Rig, ignore the W/A/S/D rotation instructions. Instead, keep tapping the "F" key until the task is complete.

In conclusion
If I find anything else in my travels worth mentioning, I will add them as I come across them.

I hope this guide will save others the time and frustration I endured trying to wrangle with this horrendous keybinding system.

Until Next Time,

Good Luck and Happy Hunting.

Is it possible to make the F key do more with less Taps ??? I am in a knife fight near the start of game were you need to tap the F key a Bunch and I mean a bunch to get a blue line in a circle to fill and then aim with the Mouse.I have NOT been unable to defeat this Creature.
