Fixing low framerates on Laptops/PC's with integrated graphics

If you've got a gaming Laptop or a Gaming PC and are getting low framerates, odds are it's due to your integrated graphics card. Here's how to fix it.

First things first: if you ONLY have an integrated graphics card on your PC, you're ♥♥♥♥ out of luck.

IF you have an integrated graphics card AND a dedicated graphics card (which is common among gaming laptops) then keep reading.

When I launched the configuration launcher I noticed that my integrated was detected, but not my dedicated. So I went to NVIDIA's control panel and had the launcher detect my dedicated, but the game still ran slow at native resolution.

Found out that the launcher and the game itself are two seperate things. So while the configuration client might detect your dedicated card, the game itself won't and will default on integrated. You've gotta force dedicated on BOTH the launcher AND the game itself.

Maybe I'm just fuc*ing stupid but I'll publish this in case anyone else had the same issues.
You probably know how to do this already
Whether you're using NVIDIA or AMD, odds are your control panel is in your taskbar:

Don't know how it works for AMD, but it should look roughly the same. Force the program to use the dedicated graphics driver. Most laptops default on integrated to save on battery power.

note how the launcher and the game itself are seperate, you gotta add both.

You're a genius! I got it to detect my card! But I still got screen tearing w/ vsync off.
I'll read around a bit more. Thank you though!
