This, is how to be moderately good at Double Action: Boogaloo. Just some tips and tricks on the game.

This game is always about liveliness. There are diving, sliding, and jumping mechanics. Use them. You will get naded and shot a bunch if you don't keep still. Always be on the run.

Assault rifles, in my opinion, are pretty unwield-y and hard to control. You need to press SHIFT to be Tacti-cool or whatever, in order to zoom in. Some guns have little zoom in and really just slow you down, like akimbo pistols. When zoomed with assault rifles, these are ridiculously zoomed in. Those precise buggers are pretty dern hard to kill. Even if they aren't scoping, they are wielding an almighty beast. Do not reckon with these folk often. You'll usually end up dead on the floor.

Just because your hot new shotty doesn't mean you're automatically good with it. People that use shotguns usually don't like to aim. Can someone factcheck that? Shotguns have a wide spread, so you just have to aim in a general area with them. Yet you can be pretty poor with a shotgun. I myself find times I've fired nearly all my shells and the person I'm attempting to kill is still not dead yet. People are movin around a lot as well, so keep on your toes.

Sliding just invovles diving, then holding down the RMB, or whatever assigned key you have to it. Sliding gets you style points, which you kind of need. Also, you look baller as crud, and it kind of doesn't follow the rules of friction. When I say that, I mean you can slide over rubble and slide up stairs. So, whatever works.

Campers are all dbags, we get it. But in this game of sliding, explosions, diving, and all that? Come on now. I found myself one match on da_rooftop just using a semi automatic assault rifle picking off people. But going back to number one, I would get eliminated soon. Plus, I'd get a little bored and just kinda dive off the roof and go through some windows. But people that kinda sit on balconies, or just stay lying down pretending to be dead when they're really just camping a popular route to the next checkpoint? Get outta here.

Like always, aim where the enemy will be, not where they are. Or, just toss out a few at clusters of them and you'll usually get a kill or two. Grenades are a little dubious, so even if it has a tiny little ring around it, you'll still take some damage, which is a bit unfair. I find myself lucky with grenades, because 1 out of every 3 usually damage or kill someone. Plus, sometimes you get style points for just tossin nades or whatever. Free points!

Well, that about sums it up. I probably have some more, but I'd like to move on and do other things. Hope this helped all of you guys out :)
