KOIHIME MUSOU - The Extended Hongou Kazuto Joins Player Faction SUB-MOD

Description
Felt someone from the Koihime Musou universe was missing? Well here's the MC!

This sub-mod allows Hongou Kazuto, the VN series' MC to join whatever faction you are playing.

I know some people have asked whether I'd add him into the mod a few times. And I usually said no, because there were no proper assets of him. But hey, I found one from one the spin-off Koihime games. So his outfit might not look the same as his usual look in the main VN series, but it's still him.

He will spawn within at least the first 1-10 turns into your faction, depending on who you play as.

He's got his own skillset. He is not that broken (well maybe), and he's not that useless either. Only caveat is he provides very little bonuses faction-wide until he's at least level 7 upwards. Just so you know.

He is decently loyal as a character, but do keep in mind, his satisfaction can drop at lower levels if you just leave him around - if you do leave him around to do nothing, then maybe turn this sub-mod off?

Disclaimer

I did say he will spawn in whatever faction you play - EXCEPT the Nanman - he will spawn, but his portrait will be broken and he will have no skill tree. Any character spawning into a Nanman faction defaults into the basic Nanman skill tree, which breaks the character and the standard Han style skill tree as a whole.

BUT you can use him if you're playing the Yellow Turban remnants, interestingly enough. There may be some bugs there, but I have not noticed any yet.

@SaberLove I just managed to get into the game and tried this mod again. I am still getting Kazuto's portrait running, with his background and armor still shown properly. So I am not sure whether it is a possible mod clash with other non-Koihime mods you are using, or not. But everything seems fine on my end.

@SaberLove are you using other mods besides the Koihime ones? It is possible there might be some clashes but I don't think it should be that likely. I have not checked it yet, but will do when I have the time. It might be an update issue, but I am not sure.

Does the broken character have a unique background and armor still?

Yes. The submod is at the very top of my load order. If it’s not a mod issue, it’s probably on my end, so please don’t worry about it. Thank you, as always, for the excellent mod.

@SaberLove you have the submod on top? And it still causes a clone spawn? I might have to check again later.

Some of the female characters are required to be "male" designated so that same gender marriage can be initiated in-game. Or some factions require the ruling family to be male-designated for the faction mechanic to work. Like the Shi clan.

I'm using the 194 AD mod that adds Xiang Yu & Liu Bang–era characters, and I've placed it at the very top of my mod load order. I tested it only with the Karin faction.

Also, I’m planning to do a heterosexual marriage rather than a same-sex one. In that case, is it okay to change a general who’s currently flagged as male to female?

@SaberLove the 15 or so characters that are designated as "male" will remain "male" as same gender marriage does not work for the specific character pairings. And as for the generic clone, which faction are you playing and where did you place this mod in the load order? Is it above the main Koihime Musou Extended mod?

The event triggers correctly, but a generic clone officer is recruited instead of Hongou Kazuto. Could this be an issue on my end?

This is a very impressive mod. If I use it, will some female officers who were previously treated as male be recognized as female again? I’m playing alongside a marriage mod and I’d like to marry various officers, but some are flagged as male, which makes marriage impossible—quite a shame. I tried changing their gender with RPFM, but it didn’t seem to apply, so it looks like it’s tied to the scenario files. With my limited modding skills I can’t make a personal fix, so I wanted to ask. I’m using a translator, so I apologize for any awkward English.
