Guilds have always been a fun feature in any mmo and Blue Protocol is no exception. Being part of one plays an essential role by providing access to exclusive items and features that are not available anywhere else. We are encouraged to join, or create one, once our character is level 9.

Through the main menu [ᴇsᴄ] > [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ], we can select to either [ǫᴜɪᴄᴋ ᴊᴏɪɴ] a guild at random, or use the search function to find a specific one. Tapping the description bubble in the guild preview reveals more information about them:




Alternatively, we can make our own guild. This process requires an item called [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ ᴄʜᴀʀᴛᴇʀ] which can be purchased with bound orbs in the [sᴛᴏʀᴇ] > [ᴄᴏʟᴏʀꜰᴜʟ sᴛᴏʀᴇ] > [ᴏʀʙ sᴛᴏʀᴇ]. When ready, go back to the guild UI and press [ᴄʀᴇᴀᴛᴇ ɢᴜɪʟᴅ] to initiate the creation process:




Leaving a guild can be done easily by selecting [ʟᴇᴀᴠᴇ] on the [ᴍᴇᴍʙᴇʀs] pages. Other than a one minute cooldown, there are currently no other penalties for leaving. Allowing us to join a new one immediately without any delays.

All guild settings are located on the main page. The pen ✒️ icon near the guild name allows to rename our guild, change the icon, tags and writing a short guild notice which will be visible to guildmates only (not public).

It's possible to change the default guild photo for any other screenshots we or our guildmates have saved to their temporary album. Below are the different steps to take for the photographer and for the guild leader to successfully upload a picture.

1. Open [ᴇsᴄ] > [ᴄᴀᴍᴇʀᴀ] and take a screenshot like usual
2. When prompted to save the photo, select [ᴛᴇᴍᴘᴏʀᴀʀʏ ᴀʟʙᴜᴍ]
3. Open the album, choose the photo and select [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ ᴛᴇᴍᴘᴏʀᴀʀʏ]

4. Select an album to add it to, or create one

Creating an album can be done directly from the prompt when trying to approve a photo, or in the tab labelled [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ ᴏꜰꜰɪᴄɪᴀʟ ᴀʟʙᴜᴍ].




The guild leader can clean up the photo album by navigating to [ᴇsᴄ] > [ᴄᴀᴍᴇʀᴀ] > [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ ᴏꜰꜰɪᴄɪᴀʟ ᴀʟʙᴜᴍ] and deleting any unwanted images.

Now that the screenshots are approved, the guild leader can open the main guild UI and click the gallery 🖼️ icon on the guild photo to enter editing mode. This will open the [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ ᴏꜰꜰɪᴄɪᴀʟ ᴀʟʙᴜᴍ] where we can choose our picture and hit [sᴀᴠᴇ]. Note that there are no actual editing options, like cropping or adding stickers. The picture is uploaded as is, so if it needs tweaking, it's important for the photographer to do those steps before submitting it for review.

The [ᴍᴇᴍʙᴇʀs] page features a shortcut button to quickly access guild chat as well as a list of all guildmates with their level, activity merit and online status. By clicking on someone's name, a profile card will pop up showing some basic info about them alongside common shortcuts like party invites and private messages.

Guild leaders can also use this page to view incoming applications and assign positions/ranks to members.

Various ranks can be assigned to guildmates such as vice president and administrator, as well as a few fully customizable ones! These special ranks can be edited by selecting the pen ✒️ icon to toggle writing mode. The things people can do with these ranks can be tweaked in the [ᴘᴇʀᴍɪssɪᴏɴs] tab.

Guild leaders can allocate ranks by opening the [ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ] tab and selecting the pen ✒️ icon. Each member can have only one position at a time.

Our very first obstacle as a leader, or any guild with few members, will be Crowdfunding. This system is in place to promote recruitment and player engagement, amongsts other things. Long story short, absolutely all guild features (such as special quests, stores, venues and guild activities) are locked until 10 players join our guild and commit to crowdfunding until the 10th person completes the process.

Let's help our friends unlock these features by joining their guild on a character that is level 9 or higher. Then, we can view the current progress on the guild's home page in [ᴇsᴄ] > [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ] and locating the [ᴄʀᴏᴡᴅꜰᴜɴᴅ] button next to it:




After clicking the button, a new window will open where we can select an empty spot to [ᴊᴏɪɴ]. Note that we must also click [ᴘᴀʀᴛɪᴄɪᴘᴀᴛᴇ] at the bottom of the screen to complete this step. If a player leaves the guild before the 10th person joined, their participation is removed and they must be replaced with a new guildmate who will then "join and participate" in their place.

While not recommended, if recruiting 10 players is proving to be difficult and we are wholeheartedly determined to unlock the guild features no matter what... there is a solution. Being part of a guild affects only the characters who joined and no other characters on our account. This means we can create level 9 alts to temporarily join the guild until all slots have been fulfilled. Making multiple accounts to solo crowdfund is no longer an inconceivable fantasy and shall be left to your own imagination to fathom...

At long last, upon the final person completing the ritual, a 10 minute countdown will begin automatically, after which the [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ ᴄᴇɴᴛᴇʀ] will open and all amenities will become available! Once crowdfunded successfully, players can leave and it will not affect our amenities. The guild center remains open even if the guildmate count drops below 10.

Guild ᴇxᴘ, funds and tokens are the main currencies and can be obtained by participating in any of the daily and weekly guild activities.

The guild center in Blue Protocol acts as a guild hall for players to hang out at and complete unique quests. This hall is unlocked as soon as crowdfunding is finished and can be accessed through the main menu [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ] > [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ ᴄᴇɴᴛᴇʀ] or by speaking with a guild ɴᴘᴄ.

The guild center is equipped with various amenities and QoL features such as a store with exclusive items, training dummies, cargo quests and a function to change our profile picture. A magnificent aquarium dotes the view on the main floor of the hall which can later be filled with numerous fishes and our most favorite rubbish. Conveniently located nearby, is a fountain boon allowing us to select blessings for guild members to enjoy.

All of these amenities can be upgraded in the menu [ɢᴜɪʟᴅ] > [ᴄᴏɴsᴛʀᴜᴄᴛɪᴏɴ] or by speaking with the corresponding ɴᴘᴄ inside the guild hall. Most upgrades require only guild funds and are tied with the overall level of the guild center, which requires guild exp to level.

(?) The guild administrator kindly offers a free storage pass after completing the guild tour. However, it would seem that this feature is not implemented yet. When added to the game, we will need to speak with the Storage Administrator to activate it. Based on the conversation with the ɴᴘᴄ, it will give access to a shared storage where all guildmates can deposit and withdraw items.

Every week, we can partake in events to collect guild ᴇxᴘ, guild funds, guild tokens and merit points. All of these rewards are granted from each event; at the exception of the daily check-in, which does not give guild tokens.

The easiest task. Head to the guild center and speak with the administrator at the front desk.

The cargo administrator, Douglas, awaits for us at the guild center. Giving them materials obtained from life skills yields rewards every day. Douglas accepts items that require focus to gather or craft, with crafted items giving more points than raw materials. Each day, the list of wanted goods is refreshed and is divided into different categories. These categories work on a surplus/demand system whereas some items will receive a +% bonus and thus be worth more points than others. Let's look for items with high cargo 📦 value and focus on gemcrafting or any other crafting profession that is easy for us, as it will the most focus-saving and efficient method to get points quickly.

Each guildmate has their own cargo. Meaning that we can max out the deliveries and it will not affect anyone else's progress. When ready, we can dispatch the cargo and wait for Douglas to return with bountiful rewards the next day. If we wish to prepare ahead of time, speaking with them again while waiting reveals the wanted items for the morrow.

A quirky event that takes place once a week at a set day and time. Head to the leisure area of the guild center to dance with guildmates. This dance offers a temporary buff that can increase damage dealt during the Guild Hunt event that takes place afterwards. There is also a chance for the ɴᴘᴄ Ee-chan to appear at random in the leisure area and receive extra guild tokens by interacting with it.




Multiple times a week, at a set day and time, we are invited by the pioneer bureau to serve in their cause and eradicate menacing bosses. This task is available with multiple difficulties to choose from and can be completed either solo or teamed with guildmates.
