fix single stick click instead of double for prince turn
By huh?what?ohimdead
if you, like me, grip your controller like a gorilla and have been yelling at your monitor as you flip directions back and forth while struggling to climb a slope, you (like me) probably didn't notice that the control scheme for this game has been changed relative to its predecessors. it's now one analogue stick click to do a prince turn instead of two, and there's (currently) no setting to change it back. this guide outlines a way to fix it using steam input.

step 1
click on the gamepad icon on the right side of the game's page in your steam library.

step 2
if you haven't yet enabled steam input for the game, do it.

step 3
if you see this page instead, click edit layout.

step 4
in the left-hand panel, click joysticks.

step 5
click on the gear icon beside right stick click.

step 6
click on regular press and change it to button chord.

step 7
click on the same gear icon again and this time click settings.

step 8
click on the drop down box next to chord button and change it to left stick click, then click close.

step 9
repeat steps 5-8, but this time click the gear next to left stick click, and in the button chord settings window choose right stick click.

this will make it so neither analogue stick button will be sent to the game unless both are pressed.
thanks to MHzBurglar for telling me this.
