Hey everyone,

This post is a work in progress. Since i made it after finishing the game i don't know yet in which dungeon each entry is acquired. I aim to replay the game and take note of everything important.

The entries are received as Digiline messages after meeting certain conditions, in the Outer Dungeons, and together they tell a quiet, fascinating story.

Since i couldn't find these entries fully documented anywhere online I decided to preserve them here, in one place.

If you find any additional entries, the location and mission they are acquired from, notice translation differences or spot mistakes, please share them in the comments so we can make this a complete archive.

This is meant both as a reference and a discussion space for lore enthusiasts.

Entry 1

Day 1 since arriving here.
I encountered some lifeforms called "Digimon."
???
Seems like they can understand human speech. I had them tell
me all about this world.
???
I know I ought to be cautious around these intelligent beings
but, the Botamon that's grown attached to me is just way too
adorable for words.

Entry 2
???
Day 2 since arriving here.
I stumbled upon an odd device.
???
It appears to be programmable using assembly language.
I barely remember how to do that, but I'll see what I can
manage when I get some spare time.
???
Right now, I need to focus on finding food.

Entry 3

???
Day 3 since arriving here.
A Digimon shared something called "Digimeat" with me.
???
It felt like electrons were firing off in my mouth.
What a strange sensation.

Entry 4

Day 4 since arriving here.
Botamon's appearance changed after I fed them some
Digimeat.
???
When I analyzed them, I discovered they seem to have...
evolved. Or "Digivolved," as it were. Apparently, now their
name is "Koromon."
???
Seems like Digimon grow and develop by rewriting their own
programming as they consume various kinds of data.

Entry 5

???
Day 5 since arriving here.
I still haven't found a way to return to my world.
???
However, while I was messing with that device I managed to
open a gate to the Digital World.
???
It seems pretty dangerous out there... so maybe I'll prepare a
little more before I try venturing out.

Entry 6

???
Day 6 since arriving here.
Koromon Digivolved yet again.
???
Now they go by "Agumon." They also learned a skill called
"Pepper Breath."
???
I think it's about time I had them fight other Digimon. But, as
usual, I can't get over how cute they are when their cheeks are
stuffed with Digimeat.

Entry 7

???
Day 7 since arriving here.
I'm ready to try going outside.
???
My first order of business will be surveying the area... I think
I'll explore the Digital World a little at a time.

Entry 8

???
Agumon was on the verge of death in battle, but they
somehow mustered their strength and dramatically boosted
their attack power and intelligence.
???
They even turned the tables and took the enemy out with a
critical hit! I couldn't ask for a better partner.

Entry 9

???
My Agumon Digivolved into Greymon and learned Mega Flame.
???
Being able to launch a fire-element physical attack that
hits all enemies is extremely good. It ought to make up for
the Digimon's low defense.
???
Next, maybe I'll try having a Digimon with low Spirit learn
something effective like Magma Fall.
???
Still, it's annoying not being able to gauge an opponent's stats
without fighting it first. If only there were some way to learn
their stats beforehand…

Entry 10

I came across a mysterious item... Spirit.
???
According to Wizardmon, it's used for Digivolving into Hybrid
Forms.

Entry 11

I found an odd item... a Digi-Egg.
???
According to Wizardmon, it's used for Digivolving into Armor
Forms.

Entry 12

???
Digimon can move at astounding speeds. Out of the ones I've
seen, Wingdramon was blindingly fast.
???
I'm pretty sure they hit... yeah, around Mach 20. The Blaze
Sonic Breath they unleash while moving at that speed is also
a terror.

Entry 13

???
Today I found a Digimon that's even faster than Wingdramon.
???
I only saw them for the briefest second, but I hear their name
is MagnaGarurumon.

Entry 14

Some Digimon will let people ride them. Birdramon and
Garurumon are particularly great to ride.
???
But my favorite of all is cruising around on Beelzemon's
prized motorcycle, Behemoth.

Entry 15

I encountered some Digimon capable of DNA Digivolution.
Let's see if I can remember the combination...

Oh, yes... Angewomon and Lady Devimon. There must be others
like this... I'll just have to look around for more.


Entry 16 (I think i’m missing some text?)

They were severely injured while mining, but fully recovered
with Venusmon's care in no time.
???
According to Venusmon, the higher one's SPI, the greater
their power to heal wounds.
???
Conversing with the Digimon has taught me that even
individuals with the same appearance each have different
personalities. It's fascinating.
???
I've observed a tendency for brave Digimon to grow more
easily in attack power, whereas caring Digimon boast higher
defense.
???
Other personalities seem to learn special skills like
"First in Line" and "Counter."

Entry 17

I hear the Digital World is home to a group of Digimon known
as "the Seven Great Demon Lords"...
???
Supposedly, they're in a region called the Dark Area. I'll
pay it a visit if I get the chance.

Entry 18

???
Day 72... no, 73, since arriving here.
My sense of time is getting more and more uncertain.
???
I've explored a fair bit of the Digital World, but still have yet to find a means of getting home.
???
However, I remain astonished by the polymorphism of Digimon. They all Digivolve to forms best suited to their environment.
???
What's more, for all that they're supposed to be just programs, at times I find myself thinking of them as sapient creatures like human beings.

Entry 19 (Call after beating all outer dungeons)

• I have something i want to entrust to you. See this device? There are Digimon sleeping in it.
  
• Could you take care of them for me? They’re a friendly and interesting bunch.
  
• Not long ago, a gate back to my home world opened up. I’m thinking about returning to the human world.
  
• I can’t take any Digimon with me… People aren’t ready to accept them yet.
  
• But, someday, i hope humans and Digimon can live together. And, as the first step towards that…
  
• … my plan is to make toys based on Digimon. I want to return to the human world and pursue that dream.
  
• Since i can’t take them with me, i want to entrust you with my Digimon. I’m sure they’ll come in handy.
