Exo Zombies freezing mid match? Not loading at all without a driver crash? Try this!

Direct 3D crashing whilst loading into a game
The solution for this is rather simple, simply disable shader precaching in the video options
Freezing/Crashing after loading into a game of Exo Zombies
The only solution i have found that has worked for me i stumbled into as a byproduct of using DDU, and that is to set your Monitors refresh rate to 60hz, after i did this, i was able to play a full game with no issues at all and that game lasted around 1 hour, so I assume it works crash free whilst your monitor is set to 60hz. For reference i was barely able to clear round 1 on carrier whilst my monitor was set at its native refresh rate. If you're unsure how to change your monitors refresh rate, simply right click on your desktop, click display settings, scroll to advanced display, click that and it should be there! As a side note, capping the game to 60fps in control panel had zero bearing over crashes, so make sure its within your windows settings, not there.
Conclusion
Best of luck trying these out, its a grave shame these old call of duty games all run like sin, but at least there is some form of work around in this case.
