Gardening is a skill in Habbo Hotel: Origins that uses a unique currency system based on Fruit 🍇. Gardening takes place in your own private room where you can grow plants through careful maintenance. Successfully mature plants reward you with cosmetic items for room decoration or fruit currency for purchasing new plants. You'll gain XP by watering and maintaining your own plants as well as helping friends with theirs! 💧

Objective
By the end of this guide, you will understand how to start your Gardening journey, claim your free daily plant from Ophelia, and successfully maintain multiple plants simultaneously from planting through harvesting. 🎯

Requirements
✅ Access to the Picnic Garden public room
✅ A private room where you can place plants
✅ Ability to walk fully around planted items for watering, harvesting, and composting

Step 1: Visit Ophelia's Shop
Head to the Picnic Garden public room and locate Ophelia near the center of the room (she may have her back turned). Click on her to "Open Shop" and you'll see a menu displaying:
📊 Your current Gardening level
💦 Your Plant/Watering level (affects fruit yield)
🏪 The store with available plants based on your currency

🎁 Getting Started:New players can claim a free every 24 hours from Ophelia🍓🍓!

This is the perfect way to begin your gardening journey without needing any fruit currency upfront.



Once you've harvested your first plants and earned fruit currency, you can purchase additional
🍓Strawberry Bushes for 20 fruit each. Stick with Strawberries for your first few levels until you level up enough to unlock the Blueberry Patch 🫐 (42 fruit, requires level up).

Step 2: Place Your Plant
Enter your private room and open your hand inventory 🖐️. Select the plant you claimed from Ophelia (or purchased) and place it in an accessible location.

⚠️ Ensure your Habbo can walk completely around the plant - you'll need access from all sides for watering, harvesting, and composting.


💡 Consider creating a dedicated garden area with tables or open floor space that fits your room's aesthetic while maintaining functionality.

Stand to the left side of your newly placed plant and click on it, then select "Water." A rain cloud ☁️ will appear, indicating your plant is watered. You'll see a timer ⏰ showing how long before the plant dries up.

Plant States:
🌱 Growing - Requires regular watering or it will die


🌿 Mature - Safe from dying, will begin producing fruit


🍓 Harvestable - Ready to collect fruit


During the growing state, monitor the timer carefully. If your plant dries out, it dies. Growth cycles vary by plant (minutes to days). Once mature, your plant is safe and will begin its fruit-bearing cycles!

Once mature, your plant will grow fruit over time. Each plant has a limited number of harvest cycles. When harvestable, click the plant to collect fruit currency, which you can spend at Ophelia's shop for new plants.

⚠️ Important Final Harvest Options:
On your plant's last harvest cycle, you have three choices:
1️⃣ Harvest - Collect the fruit and keep the mature plant as room decoration
2️⃣ Compost - Receive 5 fruit and the plant disappears from your room ♻️
3️⃣ Leave unharvested - Keep the plant with fruit as a decorative item 🎨

Also you can receive a blessing

💡 Between harvests, continue watering for XP even though it's not required for mature plants.
