Introduction
Welcome, fellow LS enjoyer or newcomer alike. In this guide, I'm going to introduce what is probably the best type of LS build, in terms of dps, for multiplayer use. As you can imagine, using Harvest Moon in multiplayer while fishing for parries is basically like trying to play ping pong without moving a single step. At some point, you're just chasing for the monster and at that point, you won't be contributing any damage at all.

Now, what I would like to suggest here, is an entirely different playstyle to what the LS is usually known for. It is efficient for sure, and sometimes can even be braindead, but it is quite refreshing and is really strong in its own way.

What is this build is like? It's Sakura Slash spam your way to win!
If you want to see straight away how this build will run, I'll post a run of how a Sakura Slash spam build vs an AR300 Magma Almudron.
Equipment/Setup Needed
ARMOR PIECES
This build is pretty cheap to create. Not needing any god roll on your Quiro Charm or Quiro Armor Augments at all. What you need for armor pieces for this build are:

QUIRO CHARM
For the Quiro Charm, don't worry, since the build I'm posting here is quite cheap, you only really need a minimum of Agitator lv4, with a lv2, lv2, lv1 slot as a minimum (secondary skill isn't needed for this barebone build, but I will further expand on which charm skill you would want). Thankfully, rolling an Agitator lv4 with these slots is quite easy as this roll is pretty common. (Please ignore the wide-range. It's only there because I need an Agitator lv4 Charm with a useless secondary skill for example purpose)

QUIRO ARMOR AUGMENT
Now for the Quiro Augment, it's gonna take a while to roll these but this is, again, pretty easy to get. It took me a total of 700 ish rolls to create this set from scratch. And with how RNG works, it can vary. You may get it quicker, or get it slower than I did.

What we need are 3 Mail of Hellfire roll on 3 pieces, and 2 Frenzied Bloodlust.

WEAPON AND ITS' AUGMENT
For this type of build, you want to take advantage of elemental (Sakura Slash motion value scales better with elemental). As such, we will be making a total of 5 builds for this playstyle. But as an example, I'll start of with a water LS.

For the weapon, we want a water LS with the highest elemental attack value we can get.

With the Weapon Augment split between 2 attack and 8 elemental.

DECORATIONS
The Decos you will need for this build are:
  • Elemental Bane Rampage Jewel
  • Lv4 Jumping Jewel
  • Lv4 Expert Jewel
  • Lv4 Hard Stream Jewel
  • Lv4 Handicraft Jewel
  • Lv2 Razor Jewel
  • Lv2 Challenger Jewel
  • Lv2 Critical Jewel
  • Lv2 Expert Jewel x2
  • Lv2 Attack Jewel
  • Lv2 Sheath Jewel x3
  • Lv1 Ironshell Jewel x2
  • Lv1 Stream Jewel

Certain decos in that list require multiple copies, so becareful not to miss a deco when copying it.
This is what your skill list will look like after you finish putting everything

SWITCH SKILLS
And finally, the Switch Skills you will bring to a hunt are

These are for your Red Scroll. As for your Blue Scroll? you can ignore that one since we will not be using the Blue Scroll at all with this build.
How The Build Works
This build is has mainly 2 moves you will rotate around. Sakura Slash, and lv3 charged Sacred Sheath once you are in red gauge. That is it. Your lv3 Frenzied Bloodlust will give you a 3rd wirebug to use when you are cleansed of frenzy. And as long as you do not sheath your weapon for longer than 3 seconds, your temporary 3rd wirebug will not disappear. On top of that, it will also stay with you for 90 whole seconds!

Now what I would usually do, is start off by grabing the nearest wirebug in the immediate area before engaging the monster. That way, you can immediately do 3 Sakura Slash (don't forget to counter the roar if it's the type to roar) and frenzy should be either close, or already cleansed. Netting you a 4th wirebug. And don't worry about the 90s timer on the Frenzied Bloodlust wirebug, you should be able to clear the next frenzy before the 90s timer even run out if you play well enough. Thus basically making this a permanent 3 wirebug build (as long as you do not sheath for longer than 3 seconds)

What's neat about this build too is that you will fill the Interpid Heart bar with just 3 Sakura Slash! Adding an additional safety net to a bizzare build.

And don't worry, I will link you my personal gameplay of how this build will look like in action.

(I forgot to record the clear time but I did screenshotted it)

As you can see from the DPS tracker on the screen, this LS build managed to pull off 281.4 dps against an AR300 Magma Almudron and finished the fight in 6:34.

You want to stay in Red Scroll as to take advantage of the 35 raw given by Mail of Hellfire lv3. The only reason you want to switch scroll mid combat is to refresh your sharpness thanks to the skill Heaven-Sent. By switching to blue and back to red, you will recover a ton of sharpness mid combat. Though keep in mind that Heaven-Sent requires you to not be knocked down within the last 30 seconds.

Jump Extender is there to make sure you can chase your target around the map (in a coop context) without needing to sheath your weapon and killing your 3rd wirebug from the Frenzied Bloodlust skill. But you are free to get rid of this for Attack Up skill if you want.

Improvement To Be Made For This Budget Playstyle Build
All of the builds I posted so far are just the budget version. It is the stripped bare version of what is the Sakura Slash spam build. With a lot of gacha roll and a bit of luck, you can push this build to have a total of additional 3 lv2 deco slot and 2 lv1 deco slot expansion for your armor, and a total of 10 lv2 effective deco slot for your Quiro Charm (vs the 6 from lv4 Agitator 2 lv2 and 1 lv1 the budget version has).

Before we start, please REMEMBER THAT WE NEED 3 ROLL OF MAIL OF HELLFIRE, AND THEN 2 FRENZIED BLOODLUST. if you already got 3 roll of Mail of Hellfire + an upgraded stats like deco slot or skill on 3 piece, make sure to remember that you need to nab the last 2 armor piece with a Frenzied Bloodlust roll.

Starting with the Head Piece, Risen Kushala Glare, we can improve it by doing a normal augment option, trying to roll a Mail of Hellfire/Frenzied Bloodlust with an additional lv1 slot upgrade.

With this, you can upgrade the lv3 deco slot into a lv4 deco slot effectively getting an additional lv2 tier deco in there.

For the Chest Piece, Risen Kaiser Mail, you have 2 choice. Both rolling via normal augment option. You can either try and roll for a Mail of Hellfire/Frenzied Bloodlust + a lv1 deco slot, or roll a Mail of Hellfire/Frenzied Bloodlust + another useful lv2 tier skill.

The 1st one is definitely easier to roll than the 2nd one. I got lucky and got this roll after rolling for 5k times.

For the Arm Piece, Flaming Espinas Grip, this one is the fun one to roll IMO. Just because its easy to get insane combination of skills with this augment type. You want to do the Augment: Skills+ option for this one and try to get a -1 to Spare Shot and roll a Mail of Hellfire/Frenzied Bloodlust and another lv2 skill

For the Waist Piece, Prudence Coil, this one is back to a hard roll. Do the normal augment and get a Mail of Hellfire/Frenzied Bloodlust with either a useful lv2 tier skill, or a lv1 slot upgrade.

I've rolled 3k times on this piece and have yet to nab a good secondary skill so this is what I got

For the Leg Piece, Tempest Hakama, is the same with Prudence Coil.

For your Quiro Charm roll, this one is a bit easier to squeeze the potential off. Agitator has a cap of lv4 in the 1st slot if you snipe it using the Cyclus Meld, and the secondary effect you want to aim for the charm in this case is Quick Sheath/Evade Extender. These 2 have a cap of lv3 as the secondary skill. And the maximum deco slot for a Quiro Charm roll is 3 lv2 deco slot, or 1 lv4 deco with 2 lv1 slot. Because we are using elemental builds, even the lv4 lv1 lv1 charm slot is still useful to replace a lv2 elemental deco slot.

If you managed to nab an Attack Up or Expert skill as the secondary skill, it is still useful. Although the cap for them is only up to lv2.
Now if you managed to get the perfect charm roll for this build? It would look something like this
Lv4 Agitator
Lv3 Quick Sheath/Evade Extender
lv2 lv2 lv2/ lv4 lv1 lv1 deco slot

This is the charm I have, it is only 1 short of a god roll. I do have a similar roll but the secondary slot is attack up. In reality, they are effectively sit at the same efficiency level.

For damage comparison, while not accurate, I'll be using the training dummy.

This is the damage while using the Water Elemental Build.

And this is the damage while using my minmaxed Water Elemental Build. The only difference being my Build can fit in an extra 5lvs of Attack Up, thus reaching lv7 Attack Up.
My minmaxed build is effectively only around 7.8% stronger. Reminder thought that this is just the training dummy and that in real combat, in reality, it is realisticaly probably less than 7.8% increase in damage.
FAQ
Q: What motivated you to make this guide?
A: In one day, 2 different players accused me of cheating. Now, the quest clear session isn't exactly the place to debate or refute accusation. And I don't even know in what way I was cheating in their eyes. So I decide to create this guide to showcase what my build is like and the potential damage it can pull off.

Q:Do you use any mods that alter rng values? Like cheating charm roll or armor augments?
A:Not really. At some point, putting more skills in my build won't really give it any more dps as you can imagine. So even if I could cheat, there would be no point.

Q:Did you really do all the augment roll legitimately?
A: Yep. If you are bored out of your minds, it's nice to put a podcast in the background and just tune out. I also make a mental note to save every 100 roll so I can reload back not too far if I accidently pass a good roll.

Q:Are you using any mods at all?
A:I do. I use the Better Matchmaking mod so that I can matchmake worldwide (rise has region lock matchmaking). And also a modded outfit look as you can see from my video. And lastly, I use a dps mod. I mostly use that to sniff out potential cheater in a hunt.

Q:Did you copy this build from a streamer/youtuber?
A:Not really. I've always been frustated by Harvest Moon and how that works in multiplayer and was looking for a way to use Sakura Slash as a method of actual playstyle. When they patched in Frenzied Bloodlust, that was when I made my build from scratch. I do know that some content creators arrived at the same build afterwards though.

Q:What's the outfit mod that you used on your character?
A:It's on Nexus and it is the Onmyo outfit.

Q:You said this was easy to make. Some of the armors and deco requires quite the high end hunt there!
A:Unfortunately it is how it is. I already stripped this build down to its essential skill. You can always change stuff up! I made my guide just to showcase what the playstyle is like. I'm sure you can tune it to be more personalized to your playstyle!

Q:I don't want to read the guide, I just want a video of telling me how the video works man...
A:I got you friend. This content creator basically explained the essential part of how the build works. Our build are different, but at it's heart, it is the same idea.
Final Words
I hope that with this, people using LS would start diversifying their plastyle to not revolve around the Iai Counter in multiplayer. Currently, that playstyle is the worst you can do in multiplayer. And as I have shown, this build does not rely on countering to do damage. And it has the ability to chase down monsters that are targeting different players and running around the map.

Feel free to ask anything in the comments on stuff I should/could clarify about. I feel I might miss a thing or two about explaining how the build works or how the mechanics around it works. I'll be actively updating the guideas more demand for it increases.

Cheers everyone! And happy hunting!

Might make either the frost or the fire build and go from there then, still have a good chunk of anomalies to farm to be able to add all the qurio skills.

Thanks for the reply and the suggestion ^^

If I have to suggest, instead of trying to create a raw LS build, when you are just trying out the build anyway, you can just instead pick a monster you love fighting and pick the elemental weakness of that monster to build. Also, if you bring your cat with the wirebug bait, you can effectively have a permanent 4 wirebug sakura slash spam build.

Frenzied Bloodlust's free wirebug can still be active when you sheath just to pick a wirebug, eat a max potion, or do other similarly short action and immediately unsheath again. Most picking up/using max potion animation are shorter than the 3 secs limit given by Frenzied Bloodlust

Oh right, I forgot to edit the raw out. I was buildcrafting a low budget raw build for a long while and I just can't pull it off. It is such an expensive build to make requiring close to a god roll just to be able to make one. So I decided to omit it. But I guess I forgot to delete the part where I was gonna post a raw one.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll delete that part. Let me know if you still want to know what it takes to create a raw build btw. It is only really useful for a few monsters currently. Elemental is that strong.

You mentioned 6 builds, one being raw, but didn't put it in the guide, is it because it's not that useful or did you simply forgot? I'm mostly curious about which weapon you use for it.

This build seems interesting so I wanted to make only the raw at first to see how it plays and if I like it or not before committing to the elemental ones.
