Introduction
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Super Famicom mystery novel "Banshee's Last Cry" (Kamaitachi no Yoru), Capcom have developed a small side story within Street Fighter 6's World Tour Mode.

The mode itself mostly contains visual novel style gameplay, with different choices impacting the direction the story takes and ultimately, how it ends. There are a few fights at different points in the story but their frequency depends on the route chosen.

The game has 15 endings total, with some only being accessible after achieving other endings prior.

Accessing the Mode
To access the collab story, first load world tour mode from the main menu and pull up your phone. Navigate to the "World Map" screen then select the "One Fateful Day" option. Then just scroll down to the "Street Fighter's Last Cry" story and select it to start the story.

The Main Path (True Ending)
The game is split into chapters but doesn't tell you when you've moved to the next one...or what chapter you're on so it's mainly useful for loading into specific chapters when going for additional endings. Because of this, it may be easier to go for the main ending first to unlock as many chapters as possible for later.

For the true ending, the first two choices shouldn't matter off of a fresh save but if you've done other endings before, I'd recommend against flirting with Grace too much or you might accidentally fall into the "Lovers Route". Just use option A on the second choice and you should be fine.

All future choices are important however. The first comes when discussing what the mysterious note says. Select option B to suggest it's a threatening message.

When asked by Mr. Buchanan to join his team, select option B to decline his offer.

It's a little while until your next decision, but you'll eventually be asked to accuse someone of lacking an alibi. At this stage, select option D to question Jonas. Then option B to suggest the timeline of events may be different than presumed. Then B to suggest the scream actually came from... Ruby?

You'll then decide to circle the resort to investigate the area when you're attacked by a mysterious assailant. Be sure to defeat them.

Once you're back inside, you'll be questioned by the others. Select option B to suggest the true identity of the Banshee.

The next choice comes when you're faced with a grisly sight. Select option B to steel yourself and investigate further.

If you've made any mistakes up to this point, you'll end up getting one of the additional endings here but if you've picked all of the correct options, you'll continue your detective work and discuss your theories with the group. First, select option B to suggest the body in the billiard room is different than before. When questioned on who did it, select option A to accuse the Banshee. Then once tea is served, select option B to notice the discrepancy.

Once this is done, it's time to call out the culprit. I'll leave this in spoiler tags in case you'd like to try and deduce the culprit yourself, but the correct option is none other than:
G: John!

Following this revelation. All you need to do is defeat them in combat and you'll have cleared the main route. Congrats!
Additional Endings
These make up most of the other endings and are off-shoots of the main path.

  • In Chapter 5: Select option A and you'll find yourself playing some good ol' SF6 with Bobby. It may seem endless but keep beating him and you'll get the ending.

  • In Chapter 6: Select option A to Join Mr Buchanan. This unlocks the "Downtown Route". You'll need to see this ending at least once to unlock the "Curry Battle Route".

  • In Chapter 13: Select option A to suggest yourself as the murderer and insist on it. This will lead to the whole cast fighting you as they're sick of your antics. Defeat them all until you're met with a lvl100 Yoga Master. Though it is technically possible to defeat him (likely using a lot of items), the game expects you to lose this fight so the ending is the same either way.

  • In Chapter 13: Accuse Bobby and then defeat him in combat.

  • In Chapter 13: Accuse Bobby and then get defeated by him.

  • In Chapter 14: Be defeated by the mysterious boom-throwing assailant.

  • In Chapter 16: This ending is likely the most common one for a standard playthrough as it triggers if you get to chapter 17 without getting all of the previous deductions right. This leads to Max giving up being the detective and all of the guests lock themselves in their rooms until morning. The easiest way to get this is to jump to chapter 16 and select option A to head back to the others without finding the key ring.

  • In Chapter 18: Get all of the deductions correct (B, A, B, then accuse the right person G) but lose the fight against the culprit.

Lovers Route
Unlocking the Lovers Route

For those of you looking for a little romance(?), these endings all revolve around Grace and your interactions with them throughout the game. Before you can get to the Lovers Route properly, there's one specific ending required to unlock it.

The goal is to flirt with grace every chance you get, but then accuse her at the first opportunity to do so. Start the game from chapter 2 and select option D when asked who you'd choose, followed by option B at dinner.

From this point, continue the game as normal (say the note says someone will die, don't join Mr Buchanan's team) until it's time to accuse someone of lacking an alibi. Accuse Grace and she'll simply brush it off as a joke. Once again, proceed with the game and as long as you don't lose to the mystery assailant outside, you're on track for the correct ending.

From here, it's essentially the same requirements as the ending for failing to get all of the deductions correct. In this instance however, you've already failed by accusing Grace instead of Jonas, so any choices here should lead to that "failed detective" ending no matter what.

If everything has been done correctly, all should proceed as normal, with Max giving up on being a detective and everyone locking themselves in their rooms. This time though, Grace will pay you a visit at midnight...

Seeing this ending unlocks the lovers route which contains two additional endings.

The Lovers Route Itself

Now that you've unlocked the Lovers Route, accessing it is quite simple. All you need to do is go back to chapter 2 and once again flirt with Grace on both occasions. Unlike last time however, she'll invite you upstairs after dinner. All you've gotta do is "Go for it!".

You'll be interrupted by a certain furry friend during your walk and will be given a choice on who's cuteness to appreciate. Each choice will give you a unique ending so I won't spoil them. Once you've seen them all though, you'll agree that she's Just Perfect.

Curry Battle Route
This is somewhat of a joke route but it contains more fights than anywhere else in the mode. To access this route, you'll first need to go through the "Downtown Route" by agreeing to join Mr Buchanan's team in chapter 6. As long as you've seen that ending at least once, you should now see a new third option when at dinner with Grace in chapter 4. Selecting option C is what starts the Curry Battle Route which contains 3 unique endings.

In essence, this route consists of multiple back to back fights alongside Grace as you try to survive testing out everyone's spicy curry recipes. Winning the fight usually isn't enough however, as your opponents have unique special food drops upon meeting certain criteria during the fight. You need to get these to progress to the next fight, otherwise you'll succumb to the spiciness and pass out.

For the first ending, simply lose in battle or fail to complete any of the additional objectives after fighting Grace and you'll be unable to proceed.

For the second ending, complete all of the additional objectives excluding Grace's.

For the final ending, complete all of the additional objectives including Grace's.

Running the Gauntlet

The fights and their requirements are listed below, but you can check them by pausing the game mid-fight and checking the "Battle Information" tab. I've included a few tips if you're struggling to get through but feel free to skip this section if you don't think you need it.

  • Vs Grace: Additional Objective = Take 5000 damage from this opponent.
As outlined above, whether or not you complete the additional objective here determines which successful ending you get. Just get hit until it says you've got the item and win the fight.

  • Vs William & Colleen: Additional Objective = Hit William with a 5-hit combo.
Simple in theory but with all the chaos it can be tricky to get. (A simple Ken OD DP at round start worked for me). One thing to note is that Grace's attacks will also count towards the combo so you can try to capitalise off of their openings. (or just you know... Shoryuken!)

  • Vs Bobby & Abby: Additional Objective = Hit Bobby with 8 punches.
This one's not too bad. The only concern is if you end up killing him too quickly if your avatar is really strong. I just walked into him and spammed LP until I got the reward and then won the fight.

  • Vs Chase & Amber: Additional Objective = Use an item with a debuff effect while Amber is still in play.
This one's super easy, just use a "Mighty Jawdestroyer" or "Ultra Mighty Jawdecimator" from your inventory at round-start and you'll get a handy outgoing damage boost along with the increased damage taken debuff. Note: If you need to heal up, I'd recommend using an Energy Drink before defeating the last of these two as the next fight is...

  • Vs Debbie, Molly & Tiffany: Additional Objective = Defeat Debbie without using items.
This is why I recommended healing before finishing the last fight if you needed to do so, as you can't use any items at the start of this fight. You could in theory try to defeat Debbie as soon as possible, then heal as much as you like but if you've got a strong avatar, you'll probably be able to just win the fight outright if you start fully healed.

  • Vs Jonas & John: Additional Objective = N/A.
This fight doesn't actually have any special food items to grab so just beat 'em up.

  • Vs Ruby: Additional Objective = Defeat them with a super art.
The final fight of this route. I'd recommend getting them near low health and then either doing a small confirm into a lvl3 or trying to whiff punish them. If you're looking to just send it in neutral or aren't confident in your whiff punishing, you can try using lvl1 supers instead so you don't end up wasting all of your meter and needing to start the whole route again.

After getting these three endings, you will have completed the Curry Battle Route and ascended to a new level of spice.

Closing Statements and Rewards.
If you've followed this guide all the way through, then you should now see "Endings Reached 15/15" on the event's title screen. When it comes to any other rewards though ...the friends you made along the way?

Although there's no concrete reward for clearing it, it's nice to see Capcom paying tribute to a piece of gaming history that I'd certainly never heard of before this event. It only took me an afternoon to full clear it but I appreciate the lesson.

I've also never written a guide like this for anything before so if there are any errors or issues, please feel free to comment and I'll check in from time to time.

Full credit for the initial discovery of these endings goes to the lovely Steam users on the thread found here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/1364780/discussions/0/599666524930769928/
Without their work in unravelling the mysteries of this little side mode, I don't think I would've been able to finish the mode, let alone written this guide.

Hope this was useful, and happy gaming everyone. :)
