Expanded Brickworks

Expanded Brickworks introduces a simple production chain for mudbrick, an early building material. Gather mud and sand at the new mudpit; form the raw materials into wet mudbrick at a crafting spot; then leave them to dry for a full day at a baking spot or on a baking frame. But be careful, as mudbrick drying is susceptible to environmental effects!

Combined with Epochs - Pottery and/or Outland - Core, Expanded Brickworks adds additional steps to the clay brick and pottery (Epochs - Pottery) production chain. Clay can be gathered at the mudpit, and must be combined with sand to create unfired clay bricks. These bricks must then be fired in either a pit kiln, kiln (Outland - Core), or stove. Firing bricks in a pit kiln is also susceptible to environmental effects.


Introduces a mudbrick production chain:
+ Collect mud and sand at a mudpit
+ Make wet mudbrick at a crafting spot
+ Leave the mudbrick to dry at a baking spot or baking frame

With Epochs - Pottery:
+ Collect clay at a mudpit
+ Make unfired clay bricks and pottery at a crafting spot or clay turning table
+ Fire the unfired bricks in a pit kiln or at a stove
+ Fire the unfired pottery in a pit kiln; pottery is too large to fit in a standard stove

With Outland - Core:
+ Collect clay at a mudpit
+ Make unfired clay bricks and wet mudbrick at a crafting spot, workbench, or forming bench
+ Fire the unfired bricks in a pit kiln, kiln, or stove
