How to use RAID-SuperBLT on Linux
By parasocial catgirl
Have you recently moved to Linux and want to enhance your raiding experience with SuperBLT mods but don't know how to do that? Worry not, there's a pretty simple solution to this problem.

(Tested on Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon, installed steam as .deb (not Flatpak))

Step 1: Downloading RAID-SuperBLT
In order to use RAID-SuperBLT, you need to download RAID-SuperBLT. As usual, just download it from https://modworkshop.net/mod/49744, and then unzip it into your RAID WW2 directory.

If you don't know where your RAID WW2 directory is, it should be in
~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/RAID World War II
Step 2: Adjusting your launch options
In your Steam library, right-click RAID: World War II, then select 'Properties'.

The 'Properties' window should appear, and it should be on the 'General' tab. If it's not on that tab, click on 'General' (in the sidebar).

Click on the 'Launch options' text. Paste the following text into your launch options:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="wsock32=n,b" %command%

These launch options should make sure that the modified WSOCK32.dll is loaded when you boot up the game, ensuring that RAID-SuperBLT loads as intended.

Step 3: Launching the game
Boot up RAID: World War II, and check if RAID-SuperBLT loads as expected. It should be working now, assuming nothing untoward happened.

(At this point, if your graphics settings are still set to display the game in 'fullscreen', I'd suggest tweaking them to display the game in 'windowed fullscreen' instead, because apparently exclusive fullscreen can be a bit iffy on Linux)

Thanks to /u/A3883 for this comment on r/LinuxGaming providing the launch options needed for WSOCK32.dll to load. (However, rest assured that you do not need to faff around with protontricks or vcrun2017.)
