Swallow

Performing a counter without using Focus increases damage inflicted. Stacks up to 5 times and resets when damage is taken.

essential, focus strikes will 1 shot most smaller enemies at 5 stacks (dolls, scarecrows, and shackles/glowies)

Weasel

Greatly increases damage dealt by normal attacks, but Hinako will no longer be able to stun enemies.

this one is a bit disingenuous with its flavor text, r2 heavy attacks will not stun, but focus strikes still do

also essential, this paired with max stacks Swallow sh!ts out more dmg than akimbo 1887´s on rust ong

Rabbit

Press Heavy Attack immediately after performing a Perfect Dodge to deal a powerful Counter. This greatly consumes Stamina.

fantastic all rounder and boss killer, pair with suzuran for ez dodge counters all day baby

Boar

Greatly increases Stamina recovery speed and greatly shortens Out of Breath duration.

Serpent

Will automatically perform a Counter when the visual hint appears, but consumes Max Sanity when it is active. When equipping, Sanity will also recover at a slower rate.

ez swallow stacks, slot this in if you are skill issued and struggle with hitting counters organically.

get ready to eat chocolate like ur a fat kid at willy wonkas factory, or gulping ramune by the bucketloads

sidenote: i would recommend not relying on this, do NOT keep it permanently slotted.
eventually it will grief you when you are trying to run past enemies and waste your sanity/resources. only use it to build swallow stacks, and then swap it with something else.
