This removes the Lambda graffiti from the rebels' arm plates with the intent of disbanding the "Lambda Resistance" as an actual group and rather turn it into just an ideal for the rebels.

Rebels are now less organized insurgents that practice guerilla warfare in the streets, forming small groups or battalions. The City 17 insurgents would end up grouping into one whole attacking militia with the objective of storming the citadel walls.

I never liked how the resistance seemed to be so centered around Freeman or the Lambda Complex. Realistically speaking they wouldn't really be that much famous, so now they fight for themselves and humanity.

It also works with mods/campaigns that happen before the events of Half-Life 2, like in Half Life: Alyx for example

Enough with the lore

The Lambda graffiti is replaced with dents, scratches and worn out textures around the center.

This changes the male and female rebel textures as well as their bloody versions from EP2.

Also adds glow to the stolen radios and fixes the low quality male bloody rebels

I think it might have been something in the original version of HL2 because remember that the only information we had about the rebel leader WAS their last name being Vance and the Eli we met in that version of HL2 wasn't even associated with the rebellion so the concept of there being independent pockets of humans wouldn't have been too far fetched back then.

i think the reason why so many rebels wear the lambda symbol is because, the resistance (you know the ones with the lambda) may be the most organised or the best option to side with rather than being independent insurgents but thats just my headcannon (also because of Elis and Kleiners influence)
