📖 Intro
Welcome to Encyclopedia Cadaverum, your one-stop hub of information on Pharmacorp's past (and maybe present) experiments!

As of 12/10/2025, this guide is heavily WIP.
⚙️ General Information & Mechanics
"Experiments" can be found in every expedition site, and tossing them into the grinder effectively turns them into money at the end of the current expedition. There is a certain threshold of ground up body parts which needs to be surpassed in order for each expedition to be considered successful. Only body parts found on each specific expedition will count towards its threshold, meaning that leftover parts from previous expeditions or anything caught in the nets will only contribute towards the next paycheck.

Every experiment will have a price tag attached to it. More testing is needed on whether or not the price tag directly correlates with the experiment's monetary value.

Update 1.3 introduced special effects for certain experiments, such as damaging divers, exploding after a set period of time, or spawning entities among others.

Vibrates and makes a buzzing sound whenever it's near other body parts/experiments (similar to the Body-Parts Detector Module)

When broken, it spawns a TV Ghost, targeting the one who broke it. It can be broken by punching it, but it has also been observed to randomly(?) break when divers are nearby. More research needed.

It will explode after about 30 seconds from the moment a diver first picked it up. Leaving it behind, or placing it in shopping carts doesn't seem to prevent the explosion.

Shortly after picking it up, a random (?) effect will be activated. So far people have reported having their inventory slots and right-click function disabled (but not the module hotkeys), and being killed instantly. A LOT of additional testing is required.

Only the large urn can be found naturally. It can be broken by punching it, or throwing items to it, or throwing it against walls (or other objects?). Upon breaking, 3 smaller urns will spawn. This overall decreases the total value and increases the amount of slots required to carry it, so it's not recommended.

Skull / Screaming Head

This experiment usually looks like a skull when it's not being carried by a diver. Upon being picked up, it will turn into a zombified head and begin screaming until it's either left behind or placed in the inventory or a cart.

⚠ Future Research Targets
🎯 Target 1: Monetary Values
We are in need of information regarding how much each experiment contributes towards the paycheck, and whether or not the price tags are direct indications of the experiment's worth.

🎯 Target 2: Experiments
Collect information about every single experiment such as screenshots, price tags, monetary values, and special effects.

🎯 Target 3: Locations
Whether or not the expedition location and difficulty affect which experiments can spawn there.
