Before starting: Create a backup of your project via 'File > Save As' and try it on that first, especially if you're unfamiliar with editing JSON files!

Step 1:
Make sure to close the editor and open your project folder via right clicking your wallpaper in the Wallpaper Engine window and selecting "Open in Explorer".

Step 2:

Open "project.json" in a text editor and paste the content of this file[github.com] at the bottom of the "properties" and save the file. (The image shows the project.json of an empty wallpaper, your "properties" might contain more than just "schemecolor".)

Step 3:
Open your project in the editor and import the asset from the workshop.

Step 4:
Since Solid Placeholder layers will lose their texture when being uploaded as an asset, we need to import a default icon texture
Name the texture file you want to use as the default icon "default_dock_icon.png" and import it as a new layer. The missing texture should now be replaced with your texture, you can delete the new layer as we only needed it for this step.

Step 5:
Apply the wallpaper on your desktop and make sure everything works. If something is wrong then create another backup and try again.

Again, please make sure to create a backup of your project and trying it on that first. I cannot take responsibility for any broken projects resulting from not doing so.
