STEP 1:
Go to this directory: C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings\steam

STEP 2:
Right click and open the file named PROFSAVE_profile with Notepad.

STEP 3:
Press CTRL+F to bring up the search function and type in GstRender.WeaponDOF, and press enter.

STEP 4:
Once you locate it, change the value from 1 to 0, and save the notepad.

STEP 5:
To make sure that any future updates don't revert our config, right click the file we just modified, go to it's properties and make sure that you enable Read-Only. That's It!

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Any changes you make to your settings in-game from here on out, every game launch will revert them back to the previous ones you had when you enabled Read-Only, so make sure to set everything the way you want it to be and then disable GstRender.WeaponDOF.

When you look far enemies with sniper scopes there was a blury vision and I fixed it for myself by changing the "FIXED RESOLUTİON SCALE" from 100 to 160. It's worked for me and there's no fps drop. (it doesn't have to be 160 just set it above 100 )

I hope this disables the infuriating bug that also blurs the ACTUAL SCOPE area when you ADS...

OrphanShredder - You might have checked the wrong User folder, dig into all users in C:\Users\ until you find a Documents folder that's filled.

changing configs does not get you banned lmfao especially configs that have existed in like 80% of battlefield games

Zedaso - It won't, don't listen to this guy, as I stated previously, If it was a bannable offence the config would've been encrypted and impossible to change (Exactly how recent years Call Of Duties handle their config files), the devs are not stupid. If anything I see dice adding new settings regarding DoF & more in the future once enough people complain, they already have a very comprehensive & customizable settings system in place, it's likely to happen.
