Introduction
The guide is complete and ready to use :3

To easily find an achievement you're looking for use Ctrl + F and the name of the achievement.
You DON'T have to own DLCs to get all the achievements as of now (currently there are only DLCs that give cosmetics and a pass for future playable DLCs that haven't been released yet) but more achievements MAY be added in the future with the release of playable DLCs. If so happens, I'll update the guide.

To get all the achievements you'll have to complete the game twice (as Alone (for From Nowhere, With Love) and as Low (for Low-Spirited)). ("you need to complete all of the chapters with the different characters to get the character achievements. don't be me and quit the levels after getting all of the collectables", thanks to Zilean ADC for this clarification!)
Chapter 1: Necropolis (part 1)
During this chapter, you'll be getting 2 types of collectibles: birds (11 total) for Birdbrained and dolls (5 total) for Toybox.
Important note! You DON'T have to shoot the birds down for it to count, just scaring them away worked for me. Still there is one bird (bird 10) that can ONLY be shot and you can't ask Low to shoot it when playing as Alone so make sure to get Birdbrained when playing as Low!

There is an achievement Peekabo for completing encounters with the enemy of this chapter without dying. I'll warn you before important encounters that might cost you this achievement.

The first two birds: bird 1 and bird 2 are sitting on the body and the luggage at the beginning of the chapter.

After you enter the building and Alone breaks the path with their wrench, you'll see doll 1 on the floor and bird 3 on the wall in the back (if you're playing as Alone, you can scare the bird away by approaching it).

After you move the box away, the very next scene contains bird 4 on the head of a statue.

As soon as you enter the building before crossing the gap in the floor, there will be bird 5 in the background of the scene.

When you get into the room with a bird 6 that's holding the key, there will be 2 more (bird 7 and bird 8) in the background. The one that's holding the key you have to shoot (or press Q to ask Low to do that for you if you're playing as Alone) and the 2 in the background are spooked by approaching.

After you open the door with said key that you got by shooting the crow, you'll soon enough encounter the main enemy of this chapter. To get the Peekabo achievement, you have to finish all 9 encounters with this enemy without dying to it.

Important note here: I did die many times to other thing (mainly fall damage) or not being fast enough during these enemy encounters and STILL got the achievement. I'm pretty sure you just have to avoid the gaze of the enemy to get the achievement.
This first encounter isn't dangerous. I'll warn you when you'll have to start being careful.

In the very next location, you'll get a new item: Umbrella. And immediately an opportunity to get the The Windy City achievement.
To get this achievement, you have to fall down from the ledge and use your umbrella less than 1 second before the landing (and survive). It's easy enough, just don't fall into the wind shaft because your landing will take too long to get the achievement reliably then. Just get to the top platform and jump at the camera (so winds aren't in the way) and almost immediately open the umbrella. Easy enough. On the screenshot Low is where I landed at when achievement popped (before I failed several times doing it inside the wind shaft).

Proceed a little further and when you fall down (during a little cutscene) and a huge light will be watching you (reminiscent of the first game), it's the first time you can actually die to a doll and fail getting the Peekabo achievement. Be careful in this section.

After you descend via the elevator before continuing, immediately go left (break the wall via Alone's wrench) to the secret area to get doll 2.

Continue through the game until you see another wind shaft. In the background of the location there is doll 3 (stairs leading right up to it).

Proceed until you have to drop a plank to cross a little gap in the floor. After you enter the door hatch to the right, there will be another dangerous for the Peekabo achievement encounter. To get through it safely just wait it out.

Chapter 1: Necropolis (part 2)
Keep going until you'll be in an area with several statues. Bird 9 will be on the bucket at the top of the screen (on my screenshot it's flying away).
Note that there are 2 more birds in the background (behind the statues on my screenshot) that seem not to be necessary for the achievement but I'd spook them anyway just in case.

Keep playing until you see a relatively lengthy cutscene. When you regain control of your character instead of moving right, go to the left and through a hidden passage. There you will find doll 4.

Keep going until you see the enemy again in the background. Bird 10 is sitting atop a toy and you HAVE TO shoot at it in order to spook it away. You can't (at least no way that I'd found) ask Low to do it for you when playing as Alone (solo), so this is the bird gatekeeping getting this achievement as Alone. If you find a way please leave a comment so I can correct the guide)

This section is going to be another dangerous sequence that may prevent you from getting the Peekabo achievement so be careful and patient. When you get past it, there will be one more dangerous sequence. The best way to get through that latter one is to follow what the other character is doing if you're playing solo. Or use my spoiler below.
As soon as you ring the bell hide in the crate and wait until it's not dangerous anymore

Proceed through the level until you have to move into the background, there on the left will be hiding doll 5. Upon collecting that doll the achievement should pop for you.

Soon enough there will be 3 consecutive dangerous sections that may prevent you from getting the Peekabo achievement. It's the last stretch! There will be one where you have to avoid the gaze again, one running sequence and one hiding and waiting sequence. The first one is pretty easy to get through. During the running sequence I died several times to fall damage and to being slow and STILL got the achievement, so don't worry too much if you fail. During the hiding sequence I'd recommend following what the other character is doing (if you're solo) when they are doing it or use my spoiler below.

During the section with the toy in the middle hide behind it for some time. There will be a box dropping down to your left. If you try to immediately switch positions, there is a chance that you can get caught in the gaze and fail right at the end of the level :( To avoid that just wait it out until the doll completely stops looking with their birght flash and starts picking up the toy then safely switch the position to hide behind the box. Then wait until it's totally safe.

At the very end of the level before dropping down the hole there is the last bird 11 sitting near said hole. This is the bird that granted me the achievement after I spooked it away. Prepare your umbrella for the drop.

You'll also get the Child's Play achievement after completing the chapter.
Chapter 2: Candy Factory
During this chapter, you'll be getting 1 type of collectibles: the dolls (5 total) for the Candyshop achievement.

There is no achievement for not getting killed by the enemy, so don't worry about that :)

There will be a pretty long way to go till the first point of interest (achievement-wise). So keep playing until your second encounter with the enemy of this level. Once you'll be sneaking from the enemy in the archives, you'll have to go up above it. There, before proceeding, go to the left to get doll 1.

Soon after, you'll fall down into the candy pile. There will be some candy lying around that you can pick up. Pick up 3 and throw them into the vent on the right. Then once you got 3 candy in the vent, go through the vent yourself and on the opposite side you'll see a hoard of bugs. Pick those 3 pieces of candy and throw them into the bugs to get the Unsavory Delicacies achievement.

Keep going for a pretty long while again until you end up near the elevator that has to be powered using 2 fuses. To get doll 2 go to the left of said elevator and the doll will be in the background of the next room.

Finish the puzzle to get the first fuse and once you go to the room to the right of the elevator to get the second fuse, you'll see a ball on the ground. This ball is very important! Make sure to bring it with you on the way back because it will have to ride with you on the elevator! Once you go up and exit the elevator, take the ball and go to the left to find a hoop that you have to throw the ball through to get the Another One In the Bag achievement.

Immediately after that you'll go through the window. Instead of going to the right, stick to the wall and go into the level, away from the camera, to find another window on your left. Inside that room you'll find doll 3.

Keep going until you've had another encounter with the enemy of the level. Once she leaves and you get down, go in the room to the left of the control panel to find doll 4.

Now play through the rest of the level until you've had your final encounter with the boss and once they're dealth with you'll have to go down the long corridor. Take the first toom on the left (you'll have to crouch to enter) to collect doll 5 on the sewing table. At this point the Candy Shop achievement should pop for you.

You'll also get the Unsupervised achievement for completing chapter 2.
Chapter 3: Carnevale (part 1)
During this chapter you'll be getting 3 types of collectibles: dolls (10 total) for the Token Gestures achievement, nomes (6 total) for the Home Sweet Nome achievement and lady statues (10 total) for the Omnipresence achievement.

Important note. To "collect" lady statues, you need to break it in any way (just as you did in the Little Nightmares 1).

There is no achievement for not getting killed by the enemy, so don't worry about that :)

Keep playing for a little until you drop down and see a corridor with the nome at the end of it. Before following the nome, break the glass and get in the room to the right. There doll 1 will be hiding.

Now keep following the nome. As soon as you start the furnace and nome gives you the fuse, it will sit down in front of the furnace. That's your chance to hug nome 1.

Bring the fuse back and ride the elevator up. As soon as you exit it, pick up the flashlight to get the Light or Flight achievement. Immediately to the left of you and a bit up, there will be a button that Low can shoot to get the Capital Punishment achievement. Now this achievement didn't pop for me right after I did this but popped after I activated another button a bit later on, so don't worry. Apparentely you can also push this button while playing as Alone: "For capital punishment, I was able to get it as alone, for the first button, there is a ball outside the elevator when you first find it that you can bring up to hit that button." Thanks to Candled for this information!)

Nome 2 is sitting in the dark corner of the next room. Next to it there is a ladder leading up. When you get up there will be the second button pressing which will grant Capital Punishment achievement. If you are playing as Alone: "for the teddy bear button, there are 3 balls further toward the camera that you can use to throw at the button" (thanks again to Candled for this information!)

After you restore the power and return to this same room, behind the lever you need to press, there will be nome 3 hiding behind the broom. On the screenshot Low is hugging him.

When you activate the mechanism and get up, before going through the door, jump on top of the boxes to get above the door. Inside there will be doll 2.

In the next room, you'll have to climb up. Instead of going through the crack in the door to the left, circle around to the right and go through a passage there to collect doll 3. In the same room with the doll 3, open the drawer on the right to let nome 4 out. Now follow nome 4, scare him from under the chair first and then you'll get to hug him in the right corner of the next room.

When you open the door to the next segment, instead of going down the dark hallway, go to the left and down the stairs. At the back of the room downstaris you'll find doll 4. On the right wall of the room there is a button. You can shoot it as Low or throw a ball at it as Alone to turn on the light and spook nome 5 out of it's hiding. Follow it and you'll be able to hug it in the room on the left down the dark corridor.

Don't rush through the vent! Instead, go back and to the right of the dark corridor. There will be a room with the piano in it. Run from the very left of the piano keys to the very right and a secret passage should open up simultaneously granting you the Stay Tuned achievement.
Nome 6 will run out of said secret room. Inside the room there will be doll 5 waiting for you and nome 6 will be sitting to the left of the piano, available to hug. After you hug nome 6 the achievement Home Sweet Nome should pop for you.

Keep playing for a bit until you activate a furnace and go outside under the rain for the second time. Instead of following to the right, run at the screen and you'll see a passage to the left. Inside you'll find doll 6 waiting for you.

Keep going for quiet a while more. Once you get from under the floorboards (after the fight with the dolls), immediately turn around and go to the left. There will be a way up and at the top there will be doll 7 waiting for you.

Chapter 3: Carnevale (part 2)
A little further you'll go through the cart and there will be a little descend downstairs. Turn around and go under the cart to find lady statue 1. To "collect" it, you need to pick it up and throw to break. Alternatively, you can shoot it as Low.

Keep playing until you get from under the floorboards again and to the area where 2 dudes are hitting the "pinata" and 2 aggressive dolls hanging around that you have to fight. In the back right corner of this area there is lady statue 2 hiding. Break it.

Proceed through the game until you have to use the zipline again. When you drop down go to the left and you'll find lady statue 3. Break it.

Now go to the next area to the right. There will be a magician booth. You'll see lady statue 4 on the panel in front of it. If you approach to pick it up, you'll fail. Instead try shooting the statue or asking Low to shoot it for you (it does work, I checked).

Keep playing until you see a shooting range. To get the achievement Aim Low (and Alone) you have to win the game without failing once. In order to do that you have to shoot every nome and avoid shooting every person. In case you mess up, you can quickly reset the last checkpoint from the menu and try again (I did check, this method works for the achievement). If you are playing as Alone, you can still do this by using Q to call Low (thanks to Kazxi for verifying that it works!).

In the very next section, get down the well and you'll find doll 8 at the bottom of it.

On the way back up from the well, you'll see lady statue 5 in the corner under the floorboards. Break it (by shooting at it as Low or squeezing to it as Alone, picking up and throwing, I did manage to squeeze to the statue, it's possible). It's under the floorboards on the left of the attached screenshot.

After 2 cutscenes, you'll have to jump on the roof above the locked door to proceed forward. Before that go down the stairs to find lady statue 6. Break it.

Keep playing until you take the elevator up. After you exit the elevator, before going down the corridor, take the first door right and on the pile of trash you'll find lady statue 7. Break it.

Keep playing for a while until you drop down into the huge trash pile full of prosthetic teeth. Once you get out, immediately circle around to the left to find lady statue 8. Break it.

Soon after, you'll have to walk across a plank. Notice that there's a ladder leading down the hole you just crossed. Drop down and at the bottom there will be a passage to the left. Inside you'll find doll 9.

Go past the steam puzzle and in the room right after where you have to jump up, you'll notice a faint glow at the bottom right near a pile of letters. There is a passage to the right hidden from view, the light is coming from within that passage. Go to the right to find doll 10. Upon picking doll 10 up, the achievement Token Gestures should pop up for you.

Keep going for some time until you escape your captivity. When you'll be going through the rooms to the right, notice that behind an open door there is a fridge. At the foot of the fridge there's a sausage on the ground. Pick it up and take it with you to the next room. Under the table there's a boy in the cage that you'll have to move away. Give the boy the sausage to get the Delivery Feed achievement.

Keep playing until you get 1 floor up via the chandelier and push doors into the room to the right. There will be a large table in the middle of the room with a person passed out on it. In the middle of this table there's lady statue 9. Break it.

Cross the room with the enemy of the level and the boy and take an elevator up. When you exit the elevator, to the right of you at the foot of the mannequin there will be lady statue 10 lying face down, so it's very hard to notice. Break it. Upon breaking it, the achievement Omnipresence should pop up for you.

You'll also get the Showstoppers achievement for completing chapter 3.
Chapter 4: The Institute (part 1)
During this chapter, you'll be getting 2 types of collectibles: ghosts (6 total) for Institutionalized and dolls (5 total) for Filed Away.

There is an achievement Hand-Eye Coordination for completing encounters with the enemy of this chapter without dying. I'll warn you before important encounters that might cost you this achievement. Not going to lie though, it's pretty tough especially on the first try.

For getting the Special Connection achievement, you must complete the 4th chapter in multiplayer with someone else. If you don't have a person to play this game with, comment section here, steam discussions or discord might help you out.

At the very start of the level, move towards the camera and to the right to find ghost 1. To collect the ghost just go through it so it evaporates.

Play for a bit until you'll have to pull a plank away to be able to get in the room to the right. Instead of going there, turn around and go to the left till the very end. There you'll find doll 1.

Keep playing until you have to deal with 2 murderous plants. At the end of the hallway with the second one there will be ghost 2 drawing spirals with chalk on a wall.

When you see a gong for the first time and hit it, the enemy of this level will crawl away from you, revealing a passage to the left. Go through the hole and you'll find ghost 3 sitting on the bench.

Proceed through the game until you obtain a very special doll. Immediately Illuminating Experiences should pop up for you.

Take the doll out in the corridor and instead of going away from the camera, run at the camera until you see an open door to your right. Inside you'll find doll 2 that can only be revealed while you are holding the special doll.

When you obtain the fuse, insert it into the fusebox and open the door, take the trolley with you. Use it to get on top of the counter near the vending machine. From that counter get on top of the vending machine where you'll find doll 3. I did try to immediately get on top of the vending machine from the trolley and it just doesn't work properly, so use the counter.
Chapter 4: The Institute (part 2)
At the end of the corridor there will be the first interaction with the enemy of this chapter failing which will prevent you from getting the Hand-Eye Coordination achievement. Under spoiler below is what you'll have to do if you want to be mentally prepared.
After going through the passage run to the right and immediately start removing the plank. Once removed, run to the right and immediately hide under the table. Be patient, wait until the hand calms down. Crouch walk to the right and coordinate with the other character to pull the lever. After you've pulled the lever you'll have to run to the right and then away from the camera (if you're solo just follow the pathing of the other character, they're programmed to survive and they are always faster than you somehow). At the end of the sequence Alone has to break the glass floor with their wrench. (be prepared to do that quickly if you're playing as Alone, if you're Low and Alone is a bot then no reasons to worry).

Soon enough you'll see a massive staircase leading up. To the left of it on the ground floor you can find ghost 4.

After you go outside to touch grass, you'll be right back inside the building. A few rooms in you'll have to pull up the vent lid to get through the vent. This is where the second dangerous sequence that may prevent you from getting Hand Eye Coordination achievement starts. This one is pretty easy, just be ready to shoot if you're playing as Low.

Pretty soon after that you'll get to another lever that opens a metal grate. At the background of the corridor with the lever there is doll 4.

Solve the lever puzzle and you'll end up in the adjacent room with ghost 5 sitting on the bench.

Take a long elevator ride down. When you exit at the bottom in the next room there will be a hole in the wall to the right. When you go through the hole, you'll see a golden key on some luggages. Take it. Keep going right! There is another room with doll 5 inside. Once you pick doll 5 up, both Filed Away achievement (for collecting 5 dolls of this chapter) and Loose Threads (for collecting all the dolls) should pop up for you.

Return to the corridor, cross the plank and you'll find locked door to your left. Inside there will be ghost 6 sitting on the floor. Once you get the ghost 6, the Institutionalized achievement should pop up for you.

After the cutscene, get ready for your last stand against the enemy of this level. First there's a chase sequence (if you're playing solo just follow the other character's pathing, they are programmed to survive). Then a fight. Move away from the side of the screen that's about to collapse, then, once you see the gong, hit it with Alone, then get ready to shoot with Low. You've got this!
Important note. I did die several times during the chase sequence and the fight to things falling on me and fall damage and still got the achievement so it seems that you only need to avoid dying to hands directly.
After you finish the fight, watch a cutscene and when you regain control of your character, the achievement Hand Eye Coordination should pop up for you.

You'll also get the Spiral Out achievement for completing chapter 4 along with From Nowhere, With Love or Low-Spirited depending on which character you were playing as.

If you have completed this chapter in multiplayer with someone else then Special Connection should pop up for you as well.
Cleanup
You might have already completed these achievements naturally but in case you didn't, now's the time to farm them (especially if you just finished your 1st playthrough and will have to replay the game as another character for character specific achievements).

You can get the Hello? achievement for calling the other character (press Q) 50 times. Just spam Q until it pops.

Guiding Hands is also easy to get. If you haven't gotten it naturally, just load a level, approach another character, take their hand and stand like that for 5 minutes until it finally pops.

You need to use Low's ability 50 times to get the Bullseye achievement. This is easy to get naturally by just using the ability when necessary. It popped for me in the middle of chapter 3 no farming required.

Spanner in the Works, on the other hand, is a major pain! You need to use Alone's ability 50 times but it only counts when you use the ability when it's necessary meaning spamming the ability button won't help you get the achievement. At the end of the game I had 22/50 meaning it's not even enough to complete the game 2 times as Alone alone to get this achievement!
I was looking for a place to farm this achievement for a bit and I noticed that most of the places you have to use your wrench on don't even count towards this achievement's progression! Meaning it's probably bugged. If it is bugged and will get fixed and is already fixed for you, reader from the future, then you probably got this one naturally. If you are just as unlucky as me then I found a decent place to farm the achievement:
After finishing the game, go to chapter selection screen and choose the Carnevale. Replay the beginning of the chapter until you get in the furnace room with a huge button that Alone can press with her wrench. Press the button, immediately go to the main menu (restart from the last checkpoint won't work immediately since it's gonna be waiting for the furnace animation to complete to make you a new checkpoint). From the main menu click "continue", you'll be spawned in front of the unpushed button. Repeat as many times as needed until the achievement pops.

Another suggestion on a good farming spot: "You can farm the Scarabs in Chapter 1 with Alone for Spanner in the Works. Kill 3 with the spanner and let the 4th kill you, rinse and repeat 👍" (thanks to EddSayers for this information!)

Once you get all the other achievements, the Mastery of The Spiral should pop for you as well. (It might be bugged at the moment since several people are reporting getting all the achievements and this one not popping up for them).
Thank you!
Thank you for using my guide! I hope it was clear and convenient, I tried really hard :D
If you enjoyed it, please leave a rating, so other people know it's a helpful guide for a way too short game!

miniminimad, uuu thanks for letting me know about this! I definitely died to being crushed by a falling item and still got the achievement so it must have been the water (which is so weird)! I'll update the guide later with all the new info from the comments
miniminimad 1 hour ago
On my second attempt at getting Hand Eye Coordination I died twice, once in the water w/ the mattress and once in the final encounter via being crushed by a falling item. Since you were able to get it while still getting a death in the final encounter, I'm guessing that the water death caused the failure for this achievement, so just a heads up to anyone struggling w/ Hand Eye Coordination!! (it also could have just been a bug, with how this game is :aushrug: )

For Spanner in the Works (and ofc Bullseye ), I think it'll count if you use the wrench to break glass bottles or something else "actually using" the wrench.

When (not if 😉) you get caught trying to do the Peekabo achievement, hit pause as soon as possible and exit to the main menu. You can continue from the checkpoint and still get the achievement.

I also can't get Mastery of The Spiral, have you guys solved the problem now? What should I do?

i somehow managed to scare the 10th bird away by fucking around a bit as Low, what i did was throw the shoe near the rattle a bunch of times, and got Alone killed by the baby near the crow. try to replicate the death of Alone near the rattle and see if it works for you

coravibes, sometimes the achievements that require count towards something (like you need 50 of something or 20 of something etc) don't update accordingly. To get your actual current progress towards these type of achievements, you have to close the game. Normally after that it updates within 1 min or something. Otherwise it updates now and then whenever it feels like updating (not just this game but as a general rule). Hence, the bugs would not update for you but were in fact counted towards the achievement progression (evidently, you killed 7 bugs) and then when you got to the vase it decided to update to 18.
coravibes 17 Oct @ 1:05pm
I played as Alone trying to get the Spanner achievement, noticed the Scarab farm wasn't very effective (sometimes not giving any progress) so I continued forward in Chapter 1. I broke a vase with the spanner and my progress jumped from 10/50 to 18/50.

Zilean ADC, thank you for clarifying, I'll add that to the guide! And sorry this happened to you :(
Zilean ADC 12 Oct @ 3:09pm
you need to complete all of the chapters with the different characters to get the character achievements. don't be me and quit the levels after getting all of the collectables
