Introduction
Dice is a Tier 3 Green Hero that has 12 HP and his sides are Two 6 Damage, Two 6 Shield with Cantrip and Two 6 Heal. All that is great, but no high value is free in this game... If a character has a lot to offer there's always a tradeoff and for this character it's having LUCKY on all his sides:

LUCKY makes it so the amount of Pips in a side is randomized every turn, meaning that all those beatiful 6 Pip sides will more oftenly than not... Not be a 6 during a fight:

Sometimes all sides will have low value which can be really unfortunate, thankfully the character has a lot of HP to compensate for that, but... What if you didn't have to worry about that? What if you make it more... CONSISTENT? In this guide i will teach how to deal with LUCKY and get maximum or at least partial control of DICE's full potential!!

First things first... Here's a side reference for the guide:

Reverting changes
Since the LUCKY keyword is added by the character trait you can use items that revert changes to remove it from the affected sides:

MEMORY

Affects: LEFT

BOWL

Affects: TOP, MIDDLE and BOTTOM

SPANNER

Affects: RIGHTMOST
Removing the keyword
There are many ways for you to simply remove LUCKY entirely:

INNER STRENGTH

LUCKY is a RED keyword so Inner Strength removes it from all sides.

EYEPATCH

Eyepatch removes any keywords from the LEFT side so pay attention to the order of any other items you have.

BLINDFOLD

Blindfold removes LUCKY but also any other keyword which means that the Shields lose their CANTRIP. It's really unfortunate but you still get a character with consistent 6 Pip sides, so it's worth it.
Keyword: STASIS
STASIS is a keyword that prevents any further changes to a side, while it doesn't remove LUCKY it will prevent changes caused by it, retaining their original value no matter what.

STASIS will also protect the sides with it from Petrification, Weaken and Inflicted Effects, but it also prevents any positive effects as well like Boosts or GROWTH.

ICE CUBE

Ice Cube only applies STASIS to the Left side which is a single side however you can get a lot more value out of it with some item combos.

ICE CUBE + BALLET SHOES

Ice Cube paired with any item that moves the position of the LEFT side will create a copy of that same side.

ICE CUBE + ORBIT

Yet another example of copying the LEFT side.

ICE CUBE + JUMP???

Jump will normally take any keywords from the LEFT and copy it to TOP and BOTTOM then replace the LEFT with a BLANK, however if you have Ice Cube it will only copy the keywords since the STASIS prevents the removal of the side. Now you have three consistent high value sides with a silly combo.

CRYSTALLISE

By far the best item for DICE since not only will it prevent effects of LUCKY but also make the character immune to negative and positive effects to sides like i mentioned earlier.

K.STASIS

The same as Crystallise

Keyword: REVDIFF
There's also another odd keyword that is great on this character but the chances of you ever seeing it and have DICE on your team are extremely low, but definitely not impossible. The item would be k.revdiff a generated item that adds the keyword REVDIFF to all sides:

You're probably wondering what it does since it sounds kinda confusing, this keyword basically makes anything that would add to the amount of pips subtract from it instead and vice versa.

LUCKY changes the sides by subtracting a random value between 0 and the original value. REVDIFF will reverse that and make DICE random into higher value sides instead:

In this case without any other items the sides can go up to 12 Pips. This would become one of the only cases were you'd want to keep LUCKY active since it's benefitting you instead.

Basically:
Normal DICE: 0 to 6 Pips
DICE with RevDiff: 6 to 12 Pips
Copying DICE sides
LUCKY being one attribute added by the character it only applies to itself, so if you use items to copy his sides you will get them without it. For the demonstration take into consideration the following positions:

Wizard above Dice and Assassin below Dice.

DOLL

Doll by far the worse since it has really low sinergy overall.

LADDER

DIVING SUIT

MIRROR MASK

DECREE

The DOGMA from Decree makes it so only the amount of Pips is changed when you replace a side, so making use of the items above you can make some really strong sides:

ENDURING

You can also use items that add ENDURING to sides to some cool stuff with Copy items:

Modifiers
Imporant to note how some Modifiers can impact DICE too:

TOPSY TURVY

LUCKY to all sides is a character trait so even if Topsy Turvy changes the sides the keyword will still b on DICE:

As you can see LUCKY stayed on DICE.

BACK TO BASICS

This removes any keywords from all hero sides, however keywords applied by character traits come after that, meaning that DICE would still have LUCKY but would lose CANTRIP on the Shields:

END
Hope you guys enjoyed the guide and did learn one thing or two about this character! I plan on doing some other character guides as well in the future, maybe some about certain items or keywords as well.
