Step 1: The Rookie Rises
September 30th, 1998. It's a day I'll never forget. The cop inside me died that day.

Yup, you guessed it right. You're not just any regular survivor anymore - you are now officially Leon Kennedy, the rookie cop that made it out of Raccoon City. You escaped one hell to find yourself in another where you show up to die every Tuesday night for bloodpoints.

Now you find yourself with a new mission: hitting prestige 100. With this guide, I am going to show you the most efficient strategies to tackle this mission and supply you with what you need to achieve this milestone.

Each and every match you play through as Leon adds another chapter in his traumatic saga. A cycle of hope, pain. Maybe the missed flashbang save that tilted your teammate and they DC'd.

But through this suffering... you will prestige.

Step 2: Embrace The Rookie Energy
To truly be Leon Kennedy and being at peak performance to be worthy of completing your prestige journey, there are three laws that you must abide by when you are in a match.

• Always run into danger.
• Repair generators with literally NO plans.
• Save your teammates at the worst times.

Remember, you are not just any survivor in the fog. YOU ARE LEON KENNEDY.
You are the embodiment of "I can fix this" with fire and complete catastrophe behind you.
You get bonus points if you flashbang yourself and tell your SWF it was "tactical".

Step 3: The Moaning Experience™
Let's be honest with each other here. We all know the real reason why you want to prestige 100 Leon, let alone even play him.

Leon doesn't just get injured - he performs.

Every grunt and sigh. Every 'ngh!' that echoes across the map. It is an Oscar-worthy display of Leon's pure, rookie agony.

You can hear it. All of your teammates can hear it. And believe it or not, the killer can certainly hear it, too.

Legend says that Leon mains never heal because they enjoy the soundtrack.
Others say that it is just part of the immersion.
Whichever side you are on, one thing is for certain: you are the moan.

Optional: hide yourself inside of a locker when injured and listen to Leon's moans fade away into the distance.

Remember, this is all part of the art of mastering the prestige of Leon Kennedy.

Step 4: Ada Wong Will Not Heal You
If an Ada Wong appears in your lobby, attempt to not freak out. Your blood pressure will rise 20%, but that is just an automatic given. You won't understand why, but you know you will risk everything to keep her safe. Even it it's more annoying than anything else.

A true Leon Kennedy will risk himself at any given moment for Ada, and will attempt to throw himself in a meat grinder for her, even if it makes zero sense.

Is Ada Wong in chase all the way across the map? Are you being a good noodle and working on a generator efficiently?

THAT ENDS TODAY.

You will have a flashbang in hand, sprinting towards the terror radius. She's doing completely fine, breaking this killer's ankles and doing FOV tech, as a juicer Ada would. She doesn't even know that you exist, but you don't care. You won't care. You're taking a hit for her when she has zero hooks and you may already have one, or two.

She is going to find you extremely annoying throughout the entirety of the game, and will probably leave you on hook when the exit gates are powered and leave. You're going to smile as you are sacrificed, just happy that Ada even noticed you. This is what it means to be a real Leon player: suffering for a purpose that doesn't even exist.

Step 5: Survive With Style
Being Leon Kennedy is like being the protagonist of an action movie. Except in this case, the action movie is horrible and no one asked for it, but it's so bad that they can't help but to watch it.

When your teammates are being chased by the killer, and every loop they go to has no pallet, they all know who dropped it. You.

Every pallet you drop is a cinematic event. Every generator explosion you cause by missing the skillchecks is nothing but unnecessary plot twists. When you're hooked? It's a cliffhanger.

haha, get it? because i'm hanging on a hook - okay nvm
- Leon telling a joke probably

Step 6: Flashbangs First, Think Never
It is not just a requirement as Leon Kennedy to craft flashbangs - it is your lifestyle.
But, you will never use them wisely. You will throw them out of fear. Or even excitement.

Is the killer all the way down the hall, and is no where close to you? Throw it.
Is your teammate in chase, and you are hiding in the closet because you heard the terror radius for one millisecond? Quickly jump out the locker and throw it.
Did you finish a generator by yourself and you are so proud of accomplishing such an achievement? THROW THE FLASHBANG.

Bonus points if you blinded yourself after you threw it. You are really getting this Leon thing down.

Step 7: Every Chase Is A Cutscene
When the killer locks their sights on you, it's game time. It's a similar feeling of being in a car ride, rain droplets dropping down the window and the radio playing songs loudly, with you imagining yourself in music videos. That is an accurate description of what you should feel when you are in chase as Leon Kennedy.

You're going to be vaulting windows like they're QTEs.
Do you see a pallet that could be useful to your teammate that is currently in chase? Drop it. It adds for dramatic effect.

Constantly look behind you and run into every object known to man.

You will inevitably get downed. Probably in ten seconds, maybe even less. Just remember this:

You didn't die. You finished the scene.

Step 8: The Bloodpoint Spiral
You've finally made it this far. Take a look at the heaps upon heaps of bloodpoints you have earned throughout this prestige journey. It is time for the moment you've been waiting for - spending them. Every single one. It cost every bit of your survivor soul. But you know it's worth it.

Buy everything in the bloodweb that sparkles. Buy any perk you see, even if might be something you won't ever use. Especially if it's a perk that you will never use. Don't think too hard about it - just prestige!

Every prestige you manage to unlock is your proof of every single emotional breakdown you've had playing. All of the flashbangs that resulted in no saves. All of the Adas that have ignored you and left you hanging. Literally.

Repeat this process until you can hear Leon moaning in your ear randomly.
Your parents might ask you the next day why they heard you mumbling "One more prestige..." at 3AM.

Step 9: Reach Prestige 100
CONGRATULATIONS!

You've done it! You finally have hit P100 on Leon S. Kennedy!

You now tell the story of a survivor who has survived thousands of of generators, hundreds of flashbangs, and probably over ten existential crises. Leon's moans of pain are not just moans anymore. They are sacred hymns, recounting the song of your pain and your long adventure throughout the fog.

All of your bloodpoints and your sanity are gone.
Your dignity is gone now too, but hey. You now have forever rookie delusion.

Ada is in the background, sighing in mild annoyance. You totally think she wants you now.

spoiler alert, she doesn't

Step 10: Looking Back On Your Journey
As you sit there staring at your screen, ask yourself this: was it worth it?

The endless matches you pushed yourself through.
The flashbangs that gone wrong.
The time Leon moaned so loud that the killer found you instantly and you had no chance.
All of the Adas you sacrificed yourself for and got strung along like a puppet on strings.

Honestly, no. Probably not.

But, as you look back from prestige 1 to 100, you realize something. You became more than just a survivor. You became more than just wanting to be Leon Kennedy.

YOU ARE LEON KENNEDY.

You have powered through with courage and bravery, and pure dumb luck that no one else has managed to obtain. No matter how many times you may have lost, you never gave up. You pressed the "READY" button on the screen over and over again when a sane person would have called it quits.

You can finally relax now. Take a deep breath, and look at your lobby of new teammates you're loading into another match with. Speak the word that defines your brand new legacy.

"Bingo."
