There's GIF support in this game?
Yes, this game supports GIFs. And it's very mediocre.

Mycopunk currently supports "tenor" as their primary source of images brought back to life being animated and shown on the chat. And it's very limited. Because let's face it, tenor isn't great and never been a great example of bringing such sources to full bloom.

How does it work?
You simply enter:

/gif "example"

After the slash command you can get various results. There's hiccups with his if you're trying to reach a specific GIF to be shown then you'd have to manually upload on your own and have it shown on the chat. But that's really what you see is what you get for now.

FAQ and Troubleshooting
Can you post Discord GIFs / Links / .mov - .mp4?

No, like I said mentioned earlier what you see is what you get. This is for now at least unless devs do add a support for other links. And I did test them out myself, you cannot post links directing them to the URL or original source of the GIFs. Only inside Tenor.

Important facts

-Tenor sometimes never uploads or gives proper quality so if you expect to write down the category or tagged word for the GIF you are looking for, it will be different from time to time. And quality can be choppy with frames. Unless you wanna fix that by uploading your own GIFs on that site and hope it brings up your example out of hundreds if not thousands of tagged words from your written example.

-You can try to be sneaky if you wanna get explicit results in but your GIFs may get banned in the future. But hey, I'm no Tenor mod so have a gamble writing words until you find something naughty.

-GIFs can be different if you use same word or terminology. Again, blame it on Tenor.
Conclusion
tl;dr

I'll update if this gets to be changed in the future but who knows, maybe links will be supported and so does audio support with toggled option to turn it off or on for posting your own memes from your very own personal computer. There's not much subtlety to it but it does keep up some nice ADHD experience on screen for now. Not much to talk about really but did wanted to clarify few things just in case for that matter.
