Introduction
In the v1.10 update, there is a secret, happy ending for the story.

This update comes with two new achievements, "Together, Until the End" and "Godslayer," which has removed the completionist status of the game from anyone who already 100% the game before.

For new players,
If you don't want spoilers or want to explore mostly by yourself, then the only thing you need to know is this:
MAKE A SAVE RIGHT BEFORE THEIA'S BOSS FIGHT, AFTER SEA OF STARS AREA
If you don't want to backtrack too much :)

Also make a save point right before the Plague Witch fight too, if you want to get the Godslayer achievement and need a couple of tries to do it (I refuse to believe anyone can do it on the first try legitimately).

For older players, you might need an entirely new save in order to access the new ending. I'm not sure if you really do, but I know that if your old save is in Theia's lab, right before her fight and you had entered her boss fight and saved after you entered her room and lost the fight, you can't access the hidden ending, and I personally had to replay the entire game from start to finish (it was a good opportunity to basically 100% the game though, so it worked out a bit).

I can't say for certain, but if you have an old save file before the Sea of Stars boss, you might be able to access the secret ending without much backtracking. I presume the switch that enables the secret ending route is before you enter Theia's laboratory, at the very least.

In order to get the new, secret/hidden ending, you'll need to first enter through this door in the school's library.

Next, go up, and you'll find pink arrows pointing to the left that indicate there's a new area there. You'll have to jump into it, as just walking left will cause you to fall down back to ground and let you leave this room.

If you want to, you can move ahead and activate the teleporter in this area to make things quicker for later on.

I didn't move past the teleporter room after activating it though, as I'm not sure if I went in too early or not, it would've damaged my ability to get the secret ending.

Regardless, there's no reason to be here yet (aside from a cat scratcher near the beginning of this area and a very simple diamond puzzle at the very left of the map) up until you are right before Theia's fight, so until you reach that point, keep going however you're already going.

Or following the other guides, such as the 100% map guide and the achievements guide made by others here (I used them, particularly the 100% map one, but the achievements guide notes which achievements you will and won't miss, which helped me complete this game's achievements), up until you're in a space kitty's laboratory.

Again, you're safe to explore up until before Theia's boss fight, which has a save and teleport point there.

The save point is a climb above the teleporter.

Once you've reached this point (and done exploring everything you want here), you can warp to the new location, the Twilight Weald.

Or walk over there from the school's teleport point, if you didn't go there in preparation or if you got a working old save file.

If you're on the right path, you should see a cutscene with Sakura, and that tells you you're on the right path.

You'll also have to defeat her in a boss fight.

After that, the rest of the game follows like all the other endings, in terms of gameplay.

I'm not sure if you're able to at this point, but just in case, when you're fighting Irin/The Plague Witch, go down the hole after you beat Yuri (don't use your ult on her, and especially not lily's bombs), and when you're fighting Nyakori, don't swing at her for about a good... maybe minute or two? Then a cutscene'll play, and you'll want to let it play out all the way to the end if you don't want to skip a boss fight and get extra story bits and lore.

The rest is simple enough. Just get utterly railed by The Plague Witch until it's over.

But what if you don't want to get railed by the witch? What if you know you can take her? What if you think she's more of a "common flu" witch than The Plague Witch?

This achievement is for the skilled, the determined, and/or the psychotic.

In order to obtain this achievement, you need to beat Irin/The Plague Witch at 7 Stars in story mode.
Boss rush doesn't count, unfortunately.
Remember to make a save file after you defeat Irin once, and have to escape with Lily, and before heading back to fight Irin again.

When you see this cutscene, this is when it gets real.

Good luck.

Tips against Irin 7*
Git gud
  • Easy mode gives you extra health and still counts toward the achievement.
    • It doesn't help you that much :')
  • Parry everything. You will not dodge her sword.
    • Button mashing doesn't help. You need to time it.
    • You better hope you're an alien blue hedgehog, or a cyborg with a Sandivistan/Accelerator to pull this off.
  • There are undodgeable attacks you need to use your ultimate to dodge.
  • There's a second phase.
    • As soon as it starts, Irin swings an instant-kill strike you must parry.
    • She will do it again.
Also, even though you don't lose after hitting 0hp, once you do, you're unable to get the achievement.
When you hit 0hp, the story continues, Yuri appears to help, and at this point after, it's scripted so that in the final half, Irin has constantly health regeneration and defense so you literally are unable to kill her.

It is possible, as others have recorded and done so.
Godslayer (Easy Mode)

So, you couldn't beat Irin.

You got railed.

You know something killed you, but the question is, how're you going to beat her this time?

Maybe you got too cocky or you accidentally mashed some buttons instead of timing everything right.

But take it from a guy who's been fighting god for about 69 years... the only way to beat god as an unimpressive human being is to cheat a little bit.

That being said, I'm going to give you two cheats.

The reason why is because maybe you want a bit of a handicap against the speed demon Irin and her lightning fast attacks, and don't need an excessive amount of power to beat her.

The other one is for people like me who still couldn't do it even with a 25% speed slowdown handicap, or for people who're too lazy to practice and practice days in and out, hours upon hours, to get that well-earned achievement.

Cheat 1: Cheat Engine
Normally, Cheat Engine doesn't work on RPG Maker MZ games, due to the values being stored differently compared to the previous versions, and the way MZ games work and run, it's incredibly difficult to do so.

However, speed hacks still work, even if you can't modify values, so you can give yourself more time to react.

Note that this speeds/slows down the ENTIRE game; you aren't attacking/moving faster than Irin is, you're literally only giving yourself more time to process and do things.

Maybe even too much time, as it also screws with your sense of timing, and you might have a better time just playing it normally :')

There's also a good chance your game'll crash if you play for too long while Cheat Engine is affecting the game, so beware.

Cheat 2: Screw with the game's code

So, you might've been a cheater who used that guide on modifying the game's files to get basically infinite health and easily get 50* in the boss rush to get the achievements and thought the infinite health would also work on Irin in story mode.

It didn't.

You pray that there has to be a cheat that lets you beat god, but question is, what is it?

Maybe you're as lazy at trying to beat Irin as you are willing to search for other blocks of code in the game's files that you can edit to be basically invincible.

But take it from a guy who only took the intro to programming classes... pretending to be a professional hacker/programmer is as simple as knowing how to use "Ctrl + F" and editing pre-existing code (not really, but for the sake of this gag, suspend your disbelief more).

Basically, all you have to do is the same thing.
  • Open the game's files on your computer.
  • Open the "js" folder/directory.
  • Open the "nya" folder/directory.
  • Open/edit the "nya_game_system.js" file using a text editing program/application.
  • Press "Ctrl + F" and use the search function to look for "_mhp"

I found this block of code after scouring the entire code for keywords, variables, and functions for anything that could be related to altering Nyaruru's maximum health the same way as the guide that helped me.

Without him, I wouldn't have the foggiest idea which file to search in, and what to search for, so thanks!

That being said, I'm a bit of a brat and I hate handholding people, so I'm going to throw all this at you and expect you to know or figure out what you need to change in order to get practically infinite health for the Irin fight (hint: slap on some extra zeroes on the numbers).

At least before the game updates with a v1.10k patch and this doesn't work anymore because Irin does something else to reset your max hp lmao

Don't forget to save your edits to the file, and restart the game after for everything to work.

And if you want to undo your changes, simply verify your file integrity and Steam will re-download the original files that you modified.
