Causes / Theories
  • Issue appears only (or mostly) with RTX 5000-series cards

  • Shader / rendering / driver interaction bug

  • Effect may trigger under certain frame rates or resolution settings
Workarounds & Fixes
These fixes are user-reported. Results vary per system.

  • Limit your in-game FPS to ~120 FPS

  • In the game settings, drop render resolution below native

  • In Nvidia app, under BO3 settings, change texture filtering to “Clamp”

  • Turn off V-Sync / G-Sync / frame interpolation / fake frame generation

  • Force the system to use iGPU (if available) for BO3

  • In BIOS, change IGPU hardware reserved RAM (e.g. set 4 GB)

  • Update GPU driver; if already new, try rolling back

Recommended Order to Try Fixes
  • Cap FPS / enable frame limit

  • Lower render resolution

  • Adjust Nvidia texture filtering to “Clamp”

  • Disable sync features (V-Sync, G-Sync)

  • Force integrated GPU (if you have iGPU)

  • BIOS tweak (IGPU memory)

  • Update / rollback GPU driver

Try each change one at a time. Test the game after each. If bug returns, revert and try next.

Tips & Caveats
  • These fixes are user experiments (no official fix confirmed yet.)

  • Some fixes may degrade image quality or performance.

  • Keep your driver version noted so you can roll back.

  • If you have a non-RTX 5000 GPU and see blur, these fixes might still help but with lower probability.

  • Back up GPU settings before changing them.

someone with a 5080 here. this only ever happens to me when loading a mod for zombies. usually, a quick reset of the game fixes this.

I've played many of the highest detailed / and largest file size custom zombies maps and have never noticed these issues. Do you have any screenshots of what the issue looks like? Just in case I am blind :D

@jakey1995abc Usually high detailed maps sometimes effects this. I have a 16gb 5060 TI, Usually it happens. Other maps do not
