Pressure Canning

Leírás
Adds pressure canning to zomboid

Soups, Stews, Pasta and Rice dishes can now be portioned into jars
Vegetables can be also placed in jars filled with water
These jars will spoil in a few days unless sealed by pressure canning

A pressure canner can be found in the world or crafted at a forge

To use a pressure canner correctly it must contain some water
Once your jars (or items you wish to cook) are placed inside the pressure cooker it can be sealed
When its sealed it can then be cooked
If it has water in it it will seal jars and cook food with no risk of burning
Without waters jars will not seal and food will burn if left too long

Once the canner has been cooked and cooled it can be unsealed and the items taken back out

These new sealed jars will last 300 days (until opened) before going stale by default, this value can be changed with a sandbox option

You can now place veggies in filled jars of water, this can be pressure canned to seal, when opened it can be used in soups stews roasts and stir fries as an ingredient

the pressure canning is also for the basic veggies preserving?

Managed to get that weight issue working, just forgot to remove the comment haha, it was an issue with a name not being set.

I was also hesitant to make it too heavy as it still needs to fit in ovens etc, even when filled with jars

Very cool that you managed to make it a container in which you have to cook. It would be nice to see a sandbox option to disable pressure canner crafting, and make it heavier, as in real life they are quite bulky. Should be about as heavy as a microwave in-game.

Btw - I see you left a comment in code by the applyJarWeight saying "not working" - you should read the comments on my mod a page or two back, I had an issue applying weight to the jars, and I had a theory it was because of the evolved recipe/item icon system. Hope that helps.

this is AMAZING. I like canning IRL and I've been wanting it to be introduced into Zomboid for forever. Thanks man :>
