You select the 4th option.

The name, portrait, astrological sign and skills of a weapon is randomly generated.
The Lineage skill is the only one that is constant and it is fixed to your weapon type.

You may level up these skill up to level 10 using Daimon orbs you obtain through looting or destroying daimon weapons and talismans.

There are 3 weapon tier

• Normal
  
• Blue
  
• Gold

They distinguish themselves by the number of modifiers they sport.

Gold:

Better rarity means more skills available to make the weapon OP.

Some skills are trash and will hinder you. Some skills are really good and wll carry your run.

Gold weapons drop at difficulty levels equal or superior to B rank.

The Last boss fight of a run will always drop a weapon of the highest rarity given your difficulty level.

You may find strane destroyed rocks during your adventures.

• These are wrath obelisks. You need this book to unlock them.

This is not important for your progression and presents minor benefits upon activation.

You get skins and craft amulets.

If you haven't done at least a few expeditions and stocked succesfully on both iron and copper + tried to speak to the smith between each expedition, you will not unlock it.

It is facultative for the progression an early gmae player.

At the blacksmith.

She also gives clues as to where you might find alchemical ingredients.

That's the neat part, we don't.

They fill your health bar and your flasks at the cost of corruption.

Could be a glitch.
Could be that you picked an artefact. As of today, you cannot check in-game if there's an artefact on you, so read what you're about to pick up and memorize the effects.

Some artefact have only positive effects, others have drawbacks, they also interact with each other.

You dodge or you parry them. The window is short, but there are sound cues.

It's a hidden difficulty selector that will affect everything except combat and loot chance, because it's purely cosmetic.

It hardly does at the moment. Its working are esoteric and the greatest mind in the world are trying to decipher its secrets. Many have tried and many more succombed to madness ore worse, pachinko addiction.
Every fortune 500 company is gainfully employing at least one genius level mathematician to decipher its workings first in a high stake race that affects the stock market and influences the decisions of every shadow-governements.

In more serious terms :

Yes, it hardly works and is prone to jank
Normally if you destroy a weapon, you get 1 orb. Same with talismans.
You might get 0 orbs out of the operation, you might get a negative amount of orbs.
It's gambling in its purest form.
Mass destroying weapons has in my experience proven to be a tiny bit more reliable (?).
