How easly win almost all your runs
By GettyX and 1 collaborators
In this guide, I'll try to briefly describe which rings, potions, and weapons you need to find to complete your runs without any problems. I'll also share some tactics that helped me complete the story and move on to achievement farming.
First things first: I won't be covering every item in the game here, I'll just be giving some advice on tactics and gear to make the game easier.

Basics of the game
If you're too lazy to go into the game controls, here it is:
W-Toward
S-Backward
A-Left
D-Right
Ctrl-Crouch
N-Notebook
Space-Jump
X-Kick
Q-Power
LMB-Cut attack
RMB-Thrust attack
Tab-Map
H-Hands/rings
E-Interaction
Mouse wheel(Spin)-select a symbol for a spell
Mouse Wheel(button)-Cast

So, between runs, you'll wake up in a room with statues, each of which gives you one of the buffs for the entire game in exchange for the shadow spheres you loot from slain enemies. It's best to level up damage and health, but if your style is a little different, you can also level up the statue for the number of summoned creatures and/or the mage statue (reduces the amount of blood spent on spells).
Also, for a quicker and easier clearing of the first location, you can give the shadow spheres to the statue closest to the bed, which will repair your sword

Unfortunately, the repair of the basic sword has a limit, and after a while (usually this time is enough to clear the entire location), the sword breaks and two of its parts appear in front of you: the blade - which deals damage to you when attacking (so it is better not to take it)

and the standard broken sword (if you were not lucky enough to find anything better in the first location, then definitely take it)
Rings
You have to be careful with rings, because if you wear it on the wrong finger, or for some people on the wrong hand, it will ruin your game and you will have to either change it or cut your finger. Don't be afraid to wear multiple identical rings, they will also give you buffs.

Wear a face ring on your forehead finger, except your thumb, unless of course you want to be chased by an unkillable monster.

The Great Ring can be worn on any finger. Consider it if you plan to use spells frequently, as it reduces the cost of casting them.

Wear the Hell Ring only on your middle fingers to increase your damage, wearing it on other fingers will reduce your speed.

The Homunculus Ring can be worn on any finger, but it's best to choose based on your playing style:
Right/left thumb, right middle, right pinkle, left pinkle - homunculus. Left middle, right index - homunculus and summon limit +1. Left index - homunculus and summon damage +7.

The Tear Ring can be worn on any finger to increase damage, but for increased health you can wear it on your left pinky finger.

The Spider Ring increases your damage on all fingers, but only the left thumb gives you a health boost without increasing damage.

It gives good bonuses on all fingers, but I would note that for specific passage according to my advice, it is better not to put it on the right middle and left index fingers.

Knowledge Ring on all fingers gives good buffs.

Better on left and right index.
Wear the pain ring only on the thumbs and index fingers of both hands.
Weapons
For weapons, it's best to choose one of the weapons below, as they will allow you to either keep your distance from your opponents or quickly eliminate them. It's not that hard to choose here, almost all weapons are good in their own way, it's important to look at the characteristics of weapons so as not to poke enemies with a weapon that is supposed to cut.

Potions
Here's a little tip for you about potions. It's best to write them down in your in-game journal so you don't have to minimize the game for a long time, but can immediately glance at them when you find a potion.
We need a potion of strength and a potion of love, and also a potion of speed to make it easier to dodge enemies. But you never know when and what potion will drop, so take any positive ones, they definitely won't harm you.
Spells
Of the spells, I can only recommend using those that deal damage and summon golems.
It's best to cast spells immediately after the entire area is cleared and you've found the blood-restoring fountain. Specifically, for the cursed weapon spell, it's best to keep the last symbol in hand and activate it (complete the spell) in the boss room itself, before attacking.
MONITOR YOUR BLOOD LEVELS VERY CAREFULLY!
It's better to spend a little more blood than the full level after the fountain than to die and end your run so stupidly.

Tactics
The simplest tactic to defeat any boss is to run around them. Specifically, against Limbok and the Slime King, you need to periodically jump to the side of their attacks. The Necromancer is incredibly easy to play against—run after her and poke her with your weapon, but when she casts a black hole, run away and look for her again in the room so you can run up to her again and stab her to death.
In rooms, it's best to first eliminate enemies who can shoot, as they will prevent you from moving freely around the room.
Personally, I try to pick up piercing weapons to keep enemies at a distance and take less damage from them. I also specifically don’t take anything that increases attack speed (except potions), since my speed is more than enough.
For a faster progression, I recommend taking the Healing Eye, as it allows you to restore blood after 5 kills. Some rings also provide a buff that reduces ability cooldowns, so be sure to use them. (If you need help finding these, let me know in the comments, and I'll be sure to update this guide.)
END
So, if you roughly follow the tips in this guide, you'll progress through the game more easily and quickly, unlocking new items and completing achievements. It's important to note, however, that you can play according to your own style. For some, it won't be a problem if their weapons deal damage to them, or if speed is more important to you than damage, it's up to you to decide how you play. If you have any suggestions for adding to the guide or any questions, please feel free to write about it in the comments. Good luck!
