Although the lost provisions and the forest jump team events are very frequent, I get them practically every time the camp is moved, sometimes multiple times in a row in adjacent provinces. As result the provisions never run out and everyone's prowess is growing way higher than it makes sense (also it upgrades followers skills even if I'm travelling alone to pick up a contract). I think if the events would trigger less often and a bit more selective, it would feel more balanced and natural. Not sure if it's tweakable practically though.
