STEP 1: Buy or obtain two amulets of the same base type. Get the base you want. They MUST be at least Ilvl80 to ensure that the highest possible mods can be rolled. The first amulet should have a T7 or T8 accuracy prefix. The lower the roll of the mods, the higher your chance at success with recombination. The second amulet should have either a T1 crit damage bonus suffix or a T1 crit chance suffix.

STEP 2: Put both amulets in the Recombinator. Select your accuracy affix for the first amulet, and your crit affix for the second amulet. There should be about a 50% chance of success for T8 accuracy, and a slightly lower chance for T7 accuracy. Use an Omen of Recombination to increase your chance of success to about 75%.

NOTE: Repeat first two steps if recombination failed. If you succeeded, you now have a one prefix and one suffix rare. The accuracy affix has an Attack tag, and the crit affix has a Critical tag. The ONLY other attack tag affix for amulets is +# to Level of all Melee Skills. This is important because with the correct omen, we can ensure that the only affixes that will roll, will be affixes that have the same tag as the current affixes on your amulet. Those being Attack, and Critical.

STEP 3:
A: Activate an Omen of Homogenising Exaltation for identical tags.
B: Activate an Omen of Greater Exaltation so that your next exalted orb grants two modifiers.
C: Activate an Omen of Dextral Exaltation so you only roll suffix mods, and avoid the increased spell damage prefix. Increased spell damage and increased critical damage bonus both have a damage tag. There are no prefixes with a crit tag. This will GUARANTEE a second crit suffix, and +# to Level of all Melee Skills.
D: Exalt with a Perfect Exalted Orb to guarantee that you obtain the max +3 to Level of all Melee Skills.

STEP 4:
A: Activate an Omen of Sinistral Crystallisation so you only remove your accuracy rating prefix. This is the only prefix available, and will leave you with a full 3 suffixes, and 3 open prefixes.
B: Use a Perfect Essence of Enhancement for Increased Global Defences as your first prefix.

STEP 5:
A: Activate an Omen of Homogenising Exaltation for identical tags.
B Activate an Omen of Catalysing Exaltation to increase your chances of hitting the type of modifier associated with your catalysts. It will consume the catalyst quality. The higher the quality, the higher the chance of getting the corresponding roll.
C: Add quality to max with Carapace Catalysts for defence affixes.
D: Use a Greater Exalted Orb. and pray that you roll %evasion, %ES, or a flat ES mod for max value.

NOTE: There is a very slim chance of rolling spell damage because spell damage is a prefix with a damage tag. There is a moderate chance to roll increased armour. Increased armour is not ideal for profit, but the resulting amulet should still be worth at least a few divine orbs.

STEP 6: Activate a Preserved Collarbone for a chance at a higher tier amulet desecration. Desecrate the amulet. Activate an Omen of Abyssal Echoes. This will allow you to re-roll your desecration mods at the Well of Souls in case your first three options are not ideal. You will now have 6 options instead of 3. Reveal the mod. Look for high tier mods that increase Evasion or ES. Evasion or ES from body armour is good, but global Evasion or ES is better. Be careful when gambling, and choose wisely. You may brick a decent option with a re-roll.

STEP 7: With your new giga amulet fully crafted, use Carapace Catalysts to upgrade all of your defence affixes. Use an anointment of your choice.

NOTE: Only use a Vaal Orb if you are rich or completely f#cking insane. Don't forget to use an Omen of Corruption to guarantee a change. Alternatively, for a chance at the most insane rolls possible for your affixes, you can use an Omen of Sanctification and a Divine Orb. This will give your affixes a chance to roll values between -80% and +120% and a chance at +4 to Level of all Melee Skills. This is dangerous, and NOT a cheap option. You may end up with God-Tier mirror material, or utter dogsh#t. Do this at your own discretion, and ideally on extremely valuable items with the highest tier affixes.
