The guide assumes you already have the games downloaded and extracted from ITCH.io, but in case you dont, here's a quick step by step.

1 - Go into Desktop mode
2 - download Momodora 1 through the following link : https://rdein.itch.io/momodora-i
3 - extract it in any folder you'd like to, just make sure you remember where you put it, it will be important for the next step.
4 - still in desktop mode, open steam and go to ''add a non steam game'', find the exe of momodora 1 in the folder you extracted it from.

And there you have it, it will be in your library under ''non steam games'', make sure to change compatibillity to proton experimental, as its the one that worked best for me !

one problem that both games have is that if not in fullscreen, the games run at half speed, so go into the controls and download my community template to make sure you get around this issue, i have made L4 as a dedicated button to go fullscreen mode, fixing the slowdown issue



And done, Momodora 1 should work flawlessly, have fun

now to make Momodora 2 work, its basically the same process.
