The barrel rolls smoother, the bugs scream quieter, and Molly looks almost cute when she drags the gold away.

In the caves, sobriety is a weakness. A dwarf without beer is just… short. But give him a pint of Glyphid Slammer — and suddenly he’s a poet, a warrior, and an idiot all in one glorious package.

I’m drunk and I like it, because falling off a ledge feels less like pain and more like… gravity giving me a hug. Bosco doesn’t judge me, he just keeps shooting, loyal little tin can. The other dwarves? They’re worse. One’s singing, one’s puking, and one’s already kicking barrels into orbit. Teamwork at its finest.

They say: don’t drink before a mission. And yet, here I am — wobbling into the drop pod, yelling “ROCK AND STONE!” louder than the mission control alarms. Drunk courage is still courage. Drunk mining is still mining. And drunk explosions? Even better.

Tomorrow, I’ll regret it. Tomorrow, my head will be heavier than a full sack of Nitra. But tonight? Tonight I raise my mug high, spill half of it on my beard, and laugh like the caves themselves are in on the joke.
