These achievements can be earned by playing the game and following the story. These achievements are unmissable.


Tougher than Steel
Defeat Clyde's Killer Frog.

Complete the Paradise Meadows World and defeat Clyde's Killer Frog at the end.

King of the Jungle
Defeat Inky's Owl Mecha.

Complete the Tree Tops World and defeat Inky's Owl Mecha at the end.

Conquerer of Snowy Mountains
Defeat Pinky's Polar Bear Mecha.

Complete the Snowy Mountain World and defeat Pinky's Polar Bear at the end.

Red-Hot Justice
Defeat Blinky's Spider Mecha.

Complete the Volcano World and defeat Blinky's Spider Mecha at the end.

Biggest and Toughest Spirit
Defeat the Mega-Whale.

Complete the Ocean World and defeat the Mega-Whale at the end.

Hero of the Village
Defeat Spooky.

Complete the Ghost Island World and defeat Spooky at the end.

Case Closed
Save Pac-Boy and Pac-Sis and return to the present.
After defeating Spooky, you will view a cutscene of Pac-Boy and Pac-Sis being sucked into the Golden Tree. Pac-Man will have to rescue them. This is also known as the post-game content. Defeat Spooky once again to unlock this achievement.

Galaxians can be found in some stages of each world. Collecting a galaxian unlocks a maze which can be played in the arcade of Pac-Village. The mazes are just like the arcade games of Pac-Man, but have been revamped to be more interactive. It is now possible to Rev-Roll in the maze levels. These levels are not too difficult, though in the later stages the ghosts will have increased movement speed. Use the power-pellets and you should breeze through these maze stages with ease. This section shows where to find the Galaxians for each world

Paradise Meadows Area Maze
Clear all Paradise Meadows Area Maze Stages.

1-2 Canyon Chaos: Kill the Giant Pac Bear
1-3 Pac-Dot Pond: In a box near the foot of the waterfall

Treewood Forest Area Maze
Clear all Treewood Forest Maze Stages.

2-1 B-Doing Woods: Inside the Apple fruit crate near the number 3 switch
2-2 Treewood Forest: Inside the Orange fruit crate, on the left with 2 ramps
2-3 Butane Pain: Inside the Apple fruit crate, after crossing the tightrope

Snowy Mountain Area Maze
Clear all Snowy Mountain Maze Stages.

3-1 Ice River Run: Hit the yellow switch near the first puddle to enter a room that requires shrinking. Kill the Giant Ice Pac Bear in the area
3-2 Avalanche Alley: Inside the Orange fruit crate in a cave, drop below the ledge where the 4 ghosts are
3-3 Blade Mountain: Inside the Melon fruit crate at the end of the level

Volcano Area Maze
Clear all Volcano Maze Stages.

4-1 Into the Volcano!: On the right from the second magma golem
4-2 Volcanic Panic: Inside the Apple fruit crate, surrounded by 2 enemies
4-3 Magma Opus: Inside the Cherry fruit cake near the magma golem

Scuba Duba Area Maze
Clear all Scuba Duba Maze Stages.

5-1 Scuba Duba: Inside the Apple fruit crate on the left of the sunken ship
5-2 Shark Attack: Inside the Orange fruit crate at the end of the path after 2 sharks

Ghost Island Area Maze
Clear all Ghost Island Maze Stages.

6-1 Haunted Broadwalk: Inside the Strawberry fruit crate at the end of the level
6-3 Ghost Bayou: Inside the Orange fruit crate before the nets

These achievements can be earned by killing enemies in a specific way using Pac-Man's skillset.
You will naturally get most of these as you play the game normally.

Kick! Kick! Kick!
Defeat 50 enemies with Flip Kick.

Pac-Man's flip kick now works even when hes on the ground. Simply walk up to enemies and flip kick them until you get this achievement.

Ultimate Pac-Dot Attack!
Defeat 100 enemies with Pac-Dot Attack.

Pac-Man now has a Pac-Dot Attack that he can use to fire at enemies from a distance at the cost of one pac-dot. He can also hold it to charge an area of effect pac-dot attack that costs 5 pac-dots. Either one works fine for this achievement.

Ghost Buffet
Get 1600 points from eating Ghosts consecutively (Arcade Games excluded).

This can be done in the first level, where you're introduced to the Power Pellet by eating all 4 ghosts at once.

Ghost Hunter!
Eat 100 Ghosts (Arcade Games excluded).

Keep eating ghosts and you will get this achievement.

Divine Speed
Defeat 100 enemies with Rev Roll.

The classic Pac-Man move. Keep charging at enemies until you get this achievement.

Tough Tushy
Defeat 100 enemies with Butt-Bounce.

Another classic move. Keep bouncing on enemies until you get this achievement.

Let's Stun!
Defeat 100 enemies with Super Butt-Bounce.

Pac-Man now has Super Butt-Bounce! By butt-bouncing and timing your next butt-bounce correctly, Pac-Man will do a Super Butt-Bounce that stuns enemies within an area. Similarly, keep bouncing until you get this achievement.

A good spot to get these achievements quick would be at the starting of Night Crawling, as there are 2 enemies and you can keep restarting the level to get this done quickly


Clean Hit
Defeat 50 enemies with Super Dolphin Kick.

The underwater levels have been redesigned such that it is now more open-ended instead of being an auto-scroller like the original. This also means Pac-Man can attack enemies under water. Like the Super Butt-Bounce, the Super Dolphin kick is executed by timing your next dolphin kick correctly. Keep kicking those enemies until you get this achievement.

The best area to get this achievement is the start of Scuba Duba. There are about 10 fishes and you can easily restart the level to repeat since its at the beginning of the level.

Each stage has fruits to be collected, while some stages have Galaxians. Galaxians unlock mazes that can be played in Pac-Village arcade. Refer to the Maze Stages section for more details.

Glutton
Eat 300 Fruit (Arcade Games excluded).

Keep collecting fruits throughout your journey and you will get this achievement.

Power of Invincibility
Get 99 or more extra lives.
Stack up 99 lives and this achievement should pop. There's an area before the third checkpoint of Butane Pain that has 8 lives. Completing the whole level without dying should net around 10-12 lives easily.


The remake adds new sets of collectibles: Costumes and Figurines. Costumes can be obtained by completing missions in each level. Figurines can be obtained from capsules. Capsules can be found in stages or through the Gashapon Machine located in Pac-Village arcade.

Fashionable Hero
Obtain all costumes.
As mentioned, costumes are earned by completing all missions for each level. General rule of thumb is to collect everything, destroy all enemies, and get above bronze for the time trials. More on time trails later.

Music Maniac
Obtain all Jukebox songs.
Most songs are earned from playing stages while some songs are unlocked as you complete missions for each level. Collect all Jukebox songs and you will get this achievement.

Capsule Amateur
Obtain 60 Capsules within Stage.
Capsules within stages are earned through fruit crates. You need to collect all fruits of a certain type to unlock the fruit crate. This achievement shouldn't be an issue if you're grabbing everything you see.

Figure Connoisseur
Obtain half of all figures.
Figures can be obtained through the Gashapon in the Pac-Village arcade. There are 12 Gashapon machines and 196 figures, so you will need 98 figures to get this achievement.

Legendary Figure Collector
Obtain every single figure.
Collect all 196 figures in the game. If you only use Gashapon to get the figures, you will need 588 coins to unlock all figures. You can convert figures you already owned into coins, making this much easier as you only need to get each unique figure once, but slightly time-consuming.

Filthy Rich
Obtain a total of 250 Coins.
Collect 250 coins. You will get this achievement as you farm for tokens to collect all figures.

Positively Loaded
Obtain a total of 500 Coins.
Collect 500 coins. You will get this achievement as you farm for tokens to collect all figures.

The best area I found for farming tokens was completing Stage 1-2 (Canyon Chaos), as completing it gives 10 coins under a minute. Some people have said the arcade stages are faster, but I found 1-2 to be much faster. Since most of the coins are located at the end, you can breeze through the early part of the level.

This part of the guide is where you will need to put in some effort, especially the time-trials.

Each stage has 3 missions to complete. The missions are not always the same, but generally require you do either:

• Collect all the fruits
  
• Obtain at least a bronze medal in time trial
  
• Defeat all enemies
  
• Destroy all crates
  
• Clear the stage without dying (Usually for boss stages)

Clearing all missions for each stage grants you a costume.

Helper
Clear half of all missions.

Complete half of all missions in the game. If you're collecting all costumes, this achievement will come naturally as you play each level optimally.

Hard Worker
Clear all missions.

Clear all missions in the game. Once you complete this, you also unlock all costumes in the game, earning the "Fashionable Hero" Achievement

Arguably the hardest part of this game. Some time trials are ridiculously easy, while some are tight and will require knowledge and practice. General rule of thumb is to cut corners and take shortcuts whenever possible, only take stopwatches that are convenient, and prioritize not dying over taking risky paths. Consistency is the key.

In a Hurry
Get a Bronze Medal in every stage in Time Trial Mode.

Get the Bronze Medal for every stage. That's a start, but we're not satisfied with just a bronze, are we?

Sprinter
Get a Silver Medal in every stage in Time Trial Mode.

Get the Silver Medal for every stage. You're doing great. But just a liiiittle bit more and the gold is yours.

Speed Racer
Get a Gold Medal in every stage in Time Trial Mode.

Get the Gold Medal for every stage. Great job! You can now call yourself a speed racer!

There are 3 crowns that can be earned in each stage; Bronze, Silver, and Gold. A gold crown is earned for completing all missions in each stage

King's Crown
Get a Gold Crown in every stage.

This achievement is unlocked after completing all missions in the game. This will also likely be one of the last achievements you will get (assuming you have gotten all the collectibles)

Achievements that don't belong in any of the previous categories

Member of the Village
Talk to everyone in Pac-Village.

Talk to everyone in the village. It is best to do this after completing the game all the villagers will be back as you collect more golden fruit. If you want to finish this fast, talk to Pac-boy and Pac-sis before defeating Spooky, then talk to the rest of the villagers after. Villages that can be spoken to have speech bubbles above their heads.

Gashapon Meister
Play the Gashapon 100 times.

You will get this naturally as you play the Gashapon to obtain all figures

Village Decorator
Place your first figure in Pac-Village.

In Pac-Village, there are placeholders that you can place statues you have collected from your adventures. Simply place a figure in one of the slots and you will get this achievement,

Village Coordinator
Place figures in all available Pac-Village spaces.

Keep collecting statues and place them in every slot you can find and this achievement will be yours.
