(FIX) Camera Shaking Issue

Fix for VR Camera Shaking (Oculus / Meta)

If your VR camera is shaking or jittering, here’s a fix that has worked for other players (thanks to Don Daimen).

Step 1: Set Oculus as your OpenXR Runtime
  • Open the Meta (Oculus) app on your PC.
  • Go to Settings → General.
  • Find OpenXR Runtime.
  • Click Set Oculus as active.
Step 2: Disable or Delete OpenXR Toolkit. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
  • OpenXR Toolkit is a third-party overlay/add-on
  • Either disable it from launching or uninstall it completely.
  • Many players report this alone fixes the shaking problem.
Step 3: Run the Game as Administrator
  • Go to your game’s install folder (example:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Contractors Showdown).
  • Find the game’s .exe file.
  • Right-click → Properties.
  • Open the Compatibility tab.
  • Check Run this program as administrator → Click Apply.
Step 4: Launch the game through the game files.
  • Go back to your game’s install folder.
  • Double-click the .exe file directly to launch the game.
Tips and your Done!
If you followed these steps, the shaking issue should be fixed.

Tip: Make sure your graphics drivers and the Meta app are updated to the latest version.
