Description
Beyond Bounds — A New Era of Multi-Server Gameplay in DayZ

Your character is no longer “locked” to a single server.
Beyond Bounds breaks the usual barriers: your character, inventory, progress, vehicles, and even companions can freely move across servers.

Jump into a Niva 4x4 with a friend and a full tank — and within a minute you’re both driving from autumn Chernarus to summer Livonia, snowy Sakhalin, or the desert of Nasdar. The world of DayZ is no longer a map — it’s a network.




Flexible Travel Mechanics
  • Group journeys with other players
  • Travel via public or personal vehicles
  • Configurable route costs: money, items, liquids, etc. Vehicles consume fuel
  • Risks and potential damage during travel
  • Restrictions: character weight, time of day, destination availability
  • Smart placement after transfer — no spawning into trees, walls, or rocks

Unified Game Space
  • Global chat across all servers and Discord
  • Unified in-game player list
  • Global statistics — achievements count for all time, not just for a single life




⚠️ Development Status
Beyond Bounds is currently in beta testing.
This is a client-side mod only. To work properly it requires a server-side mod and a backend (REST API + database).




Roadmap
  • Current stage: closed testing with a small team, hunting critical bugs, finalizing core functionality
  • Next: open testing for everyone, fixing critical issues
  • Then: API stabilization, early access to server mod + backend for the most active testers
  • Final: public release with all resources and instructions available on GitHub




❓ FAQ

Why not release everything right now?
Because the mod deeply affects the DayZ character creation and deletion systems.
Until the API is stabilized, fixes may be critical — requiring server wipes or even data loss. The current build is not production-ready.

Sounds like the Nexus project thry have in Rust. But let me get this straight this is for linked servers and you need a car to travel?

The concept is similar to the current MapLink function of Daemon. I'm interested to see whether this mod runs stably.

I am very new to DayZ. I am learning to not get upset when someone takes me out! I do truly enjoy the whole experience, although I wish other players would talk to me before taking out my 'toon'. Them's the breaks though! Keep up all the great work.

this has alwaays been around furious five had something sim on that server
