Early Game Fox Build part 1A: The Early Game Fox Build.
The optimal Megabonk build for Fox centers on maximizing projectile quantity and damage through strategic Tome selection and weapon choice. The core strategy prioritizes the Tome of Quantity first, as it boosts projectiles across all weapons, making Fox one of the most powerful characters for clearing swarms and bosses.

The Damage Tome and Cooldown Tome are essential for amplifying the power and frequency of her attacks, while the Precision Tome enhances critical chance, especially when combined with items like Dice and Gym Sauce.

Fox thrives with weapons that benefit from high projectile counts, such as the Dragon’s Breath, Bow, Shotgun, and Revolver, which scale exceptionally well with global projectile increases.
Early game focus should be on acquiring the Tome of Quantity and XP Tome to accelerate leveling, while mid to late game involves stacking damage, attack speed, and projectile count to achieve overwhelming offensive power.
Who Is Fox? What Do?
She starts with the Firestaff and the passive "RNG Blessing", which grants +1% Luck per level, enhancing the chance of obtaining powerful items from chests and vendors.
Weapon Selection
  • Ranged projectile weapons good.
  • Everything else bad.
Prioritize ranged and multi-hit weapons like Dragon’s Breath, Bow, Shotgun, and Revolver, as they scale best with the Tome of Quantity.
The Katana and Sword are less effective for this build.
Tome Priority
Highest to lowest:
  • Tome of Quantity
  • Cooldown Tome
  • XP Tome
  • Precision
  • Damage
The Tome of Quantity is the highest priority, then grab a few XP Tomes early in the run, followed by Cooldown, then for the fourth & final slot grab Precision if you find it, or settle for Damage as the next best thing. If you only have 2 tome slots, Just stick with Quantity & Cooldown.
Key Items
  • Clover
  • Credit Card (Green)
Clover and Credit Card (Green) synergize with Fox’s Luck passive to maximize item drops, while items like Gym Sauce and Dice further boost damage and critical chance.
Playstyle
  • Pewpew all of the things
Fox excels with wide projectile coverage, overwhelming enemies with sheer volume. Her high base movement speed allows for effective positioning and evasion, making her one of the easiest characters to learn and master early in the game.
