1. Download the tool from: https://github.com/crashairlinesfpv-oss/RaceHUD/releases

2. Extract `RaceHUD` to any folder (e.g., `C:\Tools\LiftoffTrackDB\`)

3. Run `LiftoffTrackDB.exe` - it will create necessary folders automatically

1. Right-click Liftoff in your Steam library

2. Select Properties

3. In the General tab, click Set Launch Options

4. Add this line (replace with your actual path):

cmd /c start "" "C:\Tools\LiftoffTrackDB\LiftoffTrackDB.exe" && %command%
```
5. Click OK

• Start Liftoff normally through Steam
  
• The tool will automatically launch and show a small overlay
  
• Overlay displays: Track name, total time, session time, visit count
  
• Hotkeys:
  
• - `Ctrl+Alt+L` - Toggle overlay visibility
  
• - `Ctrl+Alt+P` - Pause/resume tracking
  
• - Buttons: Click pause (⏸️) or close (✕) buttons on overlay

• Track Name - Current track you're racing on
  
• Total Time - Cumulative time spent on this track across all sessions
  
• Session Time - Time spent on current track in this session
  
• Visits - Number of times you've visited this track

• Stats are saved to: `%APPDATA%\LiftoffTrackDB\`
  
• Database file: `tracks.db`
  
• Settings file: `settings.json`
  
• Logs: `app.log`

• Overlay not showing? Press `Ctrl+Alt+L` to toggle visibility
  
• Not tracking? Make sure Liftoff is running and you're in a race
  
• Wrong track name? The tool reads from Liftoff's log file - restart both if needed
  
• Make sure Liftoff is running in "Full Screen - Fake" mode so overlay can be displayed on top

• Tool runs in background - no need to interact with it
  
• Overlay is draggable - position it where you want
  
• Pause button stops session timer but keeps overlay visible
  
• Close button exits the tool completely
