How to download mods (Standart + Crosspatch)

In this guide I will tell you 2 methods how to install mods for the game.
The new one, since this game runs on the UE5 engine and like in previous games through the Crosspatch.
Let's get started.

Method ONE: Simple download

Go to the site Gamebanana [gamebanana.com] and download any mods you like.
I'll download CrossTalk Renders Mod and Riders Pack.

Press button Manual Download bellow to download rar archive > Unpack > In the game directory go to folder UNION > Content > Paks > And now create folder "~mods".

Now move the unpacked mod folders with all their contents into the folder ~mods.

Done.

Method TWO: Crosspatch

As it recently turned out, the new method is even simpler than the first. To do this, you simply need to download Crosspatch [gamebanana.com], select the mod installation location (just create a "mods" folder where you'll install Crosspatch), and then simply click the "1-Click install" button on the site. The installation will proceed automatically.

Result

As you can see, both mods downloaded perfectly and are working great.

@NapKat I'm pretty sure there's a button you can click in the game's properties (and maybe a right click menu option, too) that will directly open the game's directory in your default file browser. No need to go hunting for it.

You shouldn’t get banned for these kinds of mods since it’s just skins and textures which are all client side, as long as you don’t download anything that alters the actual games mechanics or shit like cheats you should be A-Okay

installing on steamdeck is EXACTLY the same, just make the folder and drop in your unpackaged mods

does this support mods from sonic frontier or other sonic games? I cant find this particular rogue mod
