If you can't grab with one of your triggers but the character still does a little crouch, this guide will fix your problem.

If your character is crouching but not grabbing, then the trigger on your controller is worn out and doesn't reach the required value to count as a full press. You can fix that by changing the max value for the trigger in the Steam controller settings.

Here is step by step how you can fix it:

1. In the Steam overlay, click on the controller icon
   
   
2. Click on "Edit Layout" and go to the "Trigger" tab
   
   
3. Click on the cogwheel next to the drop-down menu saying "Trigger"
   (the first of the 3 cogwheels for the trigger having issues.)
   
   
4. Decrease the max value for the trigger (bottommost slider).

If you decrease the max value, you should notice how your character now goes deeper when you press the trigger. Just decrease the value until you grab the board when fully pressing the trigger.
