Introduction
This guide contains many solutions for this game. If you are a first-time player, it is probably best that you ignore this guide until you have your first major realisation about the topmen and seamen's living areas. Once you do, come back here and keep track of where each crew member sleeps.

One of the best ways to identify the topmen and seamen is to gather information from their living quarters - namely their hammocks. The first eureka moment you may have is that the hammocks have numbers on their tags, but there is so much more to realise from what is given to you. Spoiler tags will include that information.

Notes
  • Characters will only ever use their own hammock.
  • In general, characters will have their hammocks nearby other people of the same nationality. Exceptions to this can be interesting.
  • A hammock will be taken down by other crew members once its user dies, usually at the end of that chapter.
  • Hammock #50 (John Naples) doesn't exist, and there is no reason given for this.
  • Hammock #52 (Abraham Akbar) doesn't exist because he uses Hammock #X.
  • Hammock #60 (Samuel Peters) doesn't exist because he died before any chapter you see hammocks in.

Awesome guide, it never even occurred to me to use the changing amount of hammocks to determine the crew members' identities!
