Spaced armour is a vital part in many tanks in the modern era, spaced armour helps to prevent spalling from solid ammo, HEAT, and HESH. Spaced armour also helps to increase armour while still being fairly cheap and lightweight.

Make sure you are in the experimental version. First, place a "Cube Structure" where you want the spaced armour to be. You find in the compartments category under the "Addon Structures" subcategory. Next, activate the "Global Space" Setting, it is in the bottom left corner just above the item selector. Now, move the structure to the desired location inside of your tank, make sure there is space between the front hull armour and the spaced armour plate. Now you must shape it to the way you desire it to look.
