Add Custom Music to Radio
By Merciful Goddess
I found this by navigating the files of the game. You can add your own music to the game and play it on FM Radio 88.1.

In-game requirements:

I did this after completing the game, but it can also be done after obtaining the Ice Chains Upgrade. This upgrade will help you drive on ice and reach the island to activate the Radio Tower located in the middle of Fishing Town. If you don’t do this, the music will play faintly when you are in that area of the game, and even quieter in other areas.

It’s recommended to do intercity jobs to buy the upgrade. It will be a somewhat long process and also an investment in gas, but it’s worth it if your goal is to progress in the game and listen to your music.

Supported file formats

So far, the files I’ve tested and the game supports are:

-MP3

-FLAC

- WAV (Cat.wav)

- OGG (Although I think it sounds a little quieter than the other formats…??)

I tried with MPEG, but it causes the radio station to stop working entirely.

EDIT:

Some quirks

- You can add more songs. I tried having 54 songs, and it worked fine. Of course, when you start the game, the menu might be a bit slow (depending on how many songs you've added), but it will stabilize after a few minutes. I played for over 3 hours after adding them, and I never had any gameplay issues.

-When your playlist reaches the last song, it will loop back to the start.

- The songs will play in alphabetical order. If you want to be more specific about the order, I recommend adding a number at the beginning of the song name

Example: 1. (song name) - (artist)

-Volumes vary from song to song. If one is louder than another, you'll notice it. You can adjust the volume to your preference in the pause menu.

-Any format that isn’t audio will break the radio station.

Local Files
First, you need to go to your Steam Library and find the game. Click on the gear icon (Settings) > Manage > Browse Local Files.

Once you’re in the game folder, go into the EasyDeliveryCo_Data > StreamingAssets > CustomRadio folder.

This last folder is where you’ll place the music files you want to play in the game.

When you open it, you’ll notice there’s already a WAV file (Cat.wav). This file plays when you are near Hydro Dam the first time you get close to the Radio Tower in the middle of Fishing Town. You can keep it or delete it if you want.

Copy your music files and paste them into that folder. Launch the game, and that’s it!

Once inside the game, press the Down Arrow key to turn on the radio and switch to FM 88.1.

Your music should start playing once you change to that station.
Conclusions
Honestly, I think it’s a great way to enjoy long routes, heavy workdays, and fully appreciate the game’s atmosphere. It’s worth the effort and makes the gaming session more meaningful. Even though I added my own music, I will still love the official soundtrack. ♥

Thank you for reading. Have fun!

does it still play the original tracks with the added music? I'd love to mix in some of the Big Lez Show's music tracks and more but i don't want to stop the original tracks from playing either

Thank you for sharing! Since you mentioned strxwberrymilk, the 54 songs I mentioned are from the Breakcore genre. I’ve even bumped into things a few times trying to keep up with the tempo of the music lol

I can share couple of positions that fit the vibes:

- Tracks that appeared in Demo
Sixicane - Neosurf
Lesiakower - Theme of the 90's

- Personally (I tried)
Blksmiith - ominous
strxwberrymilk - My Head Hurts
deattthcall - light impact (archived on my Google Drive)
M.I.S.T. - Smart Systems (Net-Zone Remix - 20% Slowed)
(Licensed - LCS) Bop, Subwave - Lo-Fi Romance

That's really weird. So it wasn’t really about the number or format of the files but something in the way the CustomRadio folder interacts with the game. Good to know that a clean reinstall or just deleting the folder and verifying files can fix it. thank you for sharing. :8bitheart:

Deleting just the CustomRadio folder and then verifying the game's files also fixes the issue.

Uninstalling, deleting whatever was left, and reinstalling the game got it working again.

How peculiar. The maximum amount of songs I put were 14. Even deleting all of them and putting just one mp3 file still broke it. I even tried mp3s with different bit rates, but no dice.

But maybe there’s a limit I haven’t checked. How many songs did you add? I’d recommend adding them in groups to figure out if one of them is causing the error.

Removing or keeping cat.wav doesn’t cause this issue, since all you’re really modifying is an empty folder. If you’re worried about your save file during this process, you can go to:

AppData>LocalLow>SamC>EasyDeliveryCo and make a copy of the folder.

If you find the problem and fix it, let people know in the comments.
