What Stuff Does and How to Bonk Your Way to Them
By IcyCyborg
My Educational Guide About Bonk. A guide of the basics of Megabonk with help from friends and comments of other players. Includes (almost all) pictures of Interactables, Powerups, Characters, Weapons, Tomes, Items, and some Enemies. Pictures thanks to Friends, Me, and Quentin Corvus.

Basics
This guide will mostly be about the different items and stuff you can encounter, and what I have learned so far. There will be spoilers for the characters, weapons, tomes, items, and other sections since I am including pictures of them and what they do. I've also linked other guides, dev notes/patches, and YouTubers for relevant information.

At the start, your main goal is to focus on getting strong enough in your run to be able to get to the boss teleporter and beat the boss before the time limit reaches zero, you get final swarmed, and die very quickly (The final swarm has no end, it's till you die). You will also want to finish quests to unlock cool characters, weapons, and items.

I will add a * for each specific stats, interactables, characters, weapons, tomes, items, and enemy used to unlock quests. These will be shown in the Grouped up Unlocks section too.

Progress Through Tiers

After beating the boss (All Xp at time of boss death will go to you like you picked up a magnet), the Teleporters only let you get to the next level if you have unlocked and are in that tier. (If you see a teleporter in the distance make sure to get within map distance of it and it will stay marked on your map as a red arrow)
For example, in Tier 1, you can beat the boss at the teleporter but not teleport, then eventually die to final swarm.
Playing in Tier 2, you can teleport to the next area after defeating the first boss and using the teleporter, but you cannot teleport to the 3rd area. (If you beat Tier 3 or Rank 100 (still uncertain) gets you a star on that character, info thanks to Argos)
If you don't manage to find the teleporter in the time limit endless waves of enemies will begin to spawn, the longer you last the faster, stronger, and more of them will spawn while you get a bonus to silver gain.

What is Rank and is it Important

With every run you do the run counter for that character goes up (and the run count for that Tier) and so does their Rank depending on how well the run went (Only impacts character skin quests for each character of reach Rank 100, otherwise it's decorative just to show how well you've done with the character).
Any character you use that completes a Tier will be shown as a character icon when looking at the list of Tiers before you start a run. (Image Example)

Useful Controls

The slide (CTRL Key) will help you a lot with some of your slower characters, helping you build up speed downhill. Just make sure you don't speed past what you need, or you have to run back. (Also, if you need to escape while being attacked, sliding increases knockback done to you but don't try this with a glass cannon build.)
The R key, when held, will also quickly restart if you just get a bad start.

For some characters jumping/b-hopping can help speed you up but it isn't always consistent with all characters. This guide by Grommet covers it better then I can here.

What is Banish/Skip/Refresh/Toggler?

When you unlock Banish, it can be very useful because it will allow you to prevent seeing an upgrade/item again in a run. For example, if you are Calcium, getting an item that helps you when standing still when you are all about movement is useless, so you can banish it so you don't get the item and won't see it for the rest of the run. (Skip lets you avoid picking the option (you get nothing) but doesn't stop it from being in the run if you run out of Banishes, while Refresh lets you see different options)
Also, the Toggler can be pretty good once you unlock it and buy it from the shop. With it, you can enable/disable what you want for runs. You can do this through the Unlocks section, but keep in mind you can't toggle the starting items/weapons/tomes you got without unlocks. Helps when you are trying to plan specific runs where certain things might hinder it.

Rarity

Rarity goes in the order of Common (Green), Uncommon (Blue with Weapons/Tomes/Shrine), Rare (Blue for Items/Purple for Weapons/Tomes/Shrine), Epic (Purple for Items/Red for Weapons/Tomes/Shrine), and Legendary (Yellow).

Getting Duplicate Items

Some items that give boosts to stats with a % may be lessened as your stats increase. This has been shown for armor % and evasion %, especially. Items with no % but a set number stat increase will always go up the same, unless unique (Some more unique items have been shown to not stack right and others are hard to test due to RNG, Spiky Shield is an example of this).

These 3 are worth looking for with Blue Skeletons dropping a guaranteed level up and Gold Skeletons dropping Gold. They will run away and despawn shortly after being hit.
The crown shows if an enemy is Elite they are stronger but have a chance to drop free item chests (Does NOT despawn and the exact chance is unknown for free chest drops) and better Xp.

When (not if cause I will) get something wrong, a patch changes something, or you figure out something useful any and all info in the comments are welcome so I can add further to the guide.

V1.0.7 Changes (I put a link to the dev post in the Previous Updates section)

Kevin nerfed to prevent immortal/invincibility builds.
Leaderboard reset, and there will soon be stability for it.

Dice and its upgrade description fix. (Will add this fix to guide later)
FPS issue late game with: Bananas, Chunkers, Axe, Flamewalker, Bloodmagic, Poison Flask, Black Hole, Frostwalker, Katana, and a bunch of items.
Shield recharge being interrupted by Kevin or Leeching Crystal.
Volume slider for Xp and Gold sfx.
Bush's passive buffed, and fixed issue where it gave crit chance instead of crit damage.

Energy core is now not loud.
Final stage teleporter fixed to give rank xp for character. (Had bug info noted earlier in guide, thanks to PUFF)
Space Noodle no longer stunlocks boss if stolen.
Pressing escape while hovering skin now hides the menu properly.
Hopefully bug fixed where Speedboi could slow down time forever.
You no longer take damage with Aegis used during Shield Powerup active.

Will add any further dev posts/update info in the Previous Updates section, and put just the recent update info here.
Stats
Stat
Description
Max Hp*
How much damage you can endure before your run ends.
Hp Regen
How much your Hp Regens per minute (as per Regen Tome).
Overheal
From Chonkplate's description, Overheal lets you have extra health equal to % of your normal Hp. Doesn't seem to be temporary Hp but hard to tell late game.
Shield
2nd Hp bar that regenerates quickly after a specific amount of time, it refreshes when not taking damage (Need to check how long that is). Prevents any attacks hurting Hp until it reaches 0, any attacks that would do more than the shield's cap do not damage Hp (Also for my friend who was unsure Armor definitely affects damage to it too dude.)
Armor
Damage reduction, starts to plateau as you reach 90%sh, with Armor Tome slowing after 2-3rd level up (The Tomes % it says its provides and the Armor you get are not equal.), recommended to pick it when it has high rarity as you raise stat (Info thanks to WarriorZolf). Increases to this stat are additive but with lowered efficiency as they get higher. Some items that increase this will give way less the higher these stats are.
Evasion
Chance to not avoid taking damage, starts to plateau as you reach 90%sh. (Correction thanks to Tyrant) Evasion Tome slows also around 2-3 rd level up (The Tomes % it says its provides and the Evasion you get are not equal.(Info thanks to EAGLEWING)), recommended to pick it when it has high rarity as you raise stat. Increases to this stat are additive but with lowered efficiency as they get higher. Some items that increase this will give way less the higher these stats are. (Ring of Evasion for Example)
Lifesteal*
Gives 1 Hp per successful hit according to Lifesteal Tome. Gives another 1 Hp for every 100%. (Can beat Hp Regen for you Quantity/Cooldown Tome users since getting 600 Hp Regen stat would be 10 Hp/s but Lifesteal can be more inconsistent/unsafe with missed shots or being thrown around during final swarm)
Thorns*
Damage done to enemies upon dealing damage to you. Can scale very easily with Oofie/Athena and Spiky Shield
Luck
Increases chances to get higher tiers of items/upgrades.
Difficulty*
Increases enemy strength and count. Recommended to increase if you kill them easily with not enough spawning. (Greed Shrine and Curse Tome are easiest way to increase. Chadwell ability is made for it.)

Interactables
Shrines/Structures
Description
Picture
Pots**
May give money, health, or xp.
Tumbleweed**
Can drop some Xp but has a 5% chance to give Katana on Tier 1 Desert and Shotgun on Tier 2 Desert. (Will only drop so you can unlock it.)
Silver Pots
Gives silver. The small one gives 1, the big one gives 2 normally. (V1.0.4, Image thanks to MaxMcSween).
Challenge Shrine
Spawns strong enemies that can drop a free item chest.
Shrine of Succ*
Collects all XP around the map dropped before activation.
Boss Curse* (Bloody Shrine)
Makes 1 more of each boss to spawn when activated. ( Game will only show 6 boss health bars at a time.)
Charge Shrine***
Gives you options between 1 of 3 stats when fully charged.
Golden Charge Shrine
Rare but gives you options between 1 of 3 Legendary stats when fully charged.
Greed Shrine
Provides money but increases difficulty by 5%. (Higher difficulty means more enemies but stronger)
Moai Shrine
Gives you the choice to get 1 of 2-3 items.
Microwave**
Gives a duplicate of the item you select by using another random item of the same rarity. The color of the Microwave decides the rarity type. Keep in mind you have 3 uses till it explodes and flips over.
Normal Chest
Purchase to open chest and raise cost (Cost to buy current chest shown in top right). Only normal chests you have to purchase increase chest cost, so don't worry about getting those free/golden chests.
Free Chest
Just walk into it to get an item, no button input required. Dropped from Bosses, Minibosses, (Boss Curse gives an extra chest per Boss/Miniboss you have to fight) Elite enemies, Challenge Shrine groups, and fightable characters. Doesn't despawn.
Gold Chest
Gives you an item for free.
Chest Cost Per Chest:
30, 72, 115, 159, 206, 256, 309, 366, 427, 495, 569, (Where chest prices skyrocket) 952, 1346, 1753, 2175, 2617, 3083, 3577, 4105, 4677, 5301, etc (Unknown if cost impacts item rarity but Luck definitely does).
Shady Guy
Gives you the choice to buy 1 of 2-3 items. You can come back to buy from him later if you can't afford an item, but he will disappear after an item purchase. Their hat color shows what rarity items they have.
Teleporter
Let's you fight the boss and teleport to the next area as long as you are in a run, allowing so. (Tier 1 no teleports, Tier 2 gets 1 teleport, and Tier 3 gets 2 teleports (plus final boss teleport).)
Boomboxes*
Once you activate all of them on your map in a run, you unlock the Boombox. A shop item enabling you to select music. (Does not appear again after this.)
Gold Key & Cage*
Key has been confirmed to spawn on the map on its own, it also may drop from enemies (Confirmed by Adeptly Inept), but it is used to open a cage to unlock the Monkey. (Does not appear again after this.)
(Picture from MoistCr1TiKaL's Addicted to Megabonk Video at 34:43.)
Suspicious Bush*
A boss that spawns once you interact with it. If you beat them, you unlock them as a character requiring the sniper unlocked and bought also. Drops free chest on death.
Bandit Statue*
Like the Suspicious Bush, it spawns a boss, unlocking them as a buyable character if you have their weapon Dexecutioner. Drops free chest on death.
Powerups
Powerups
Description
Heart
Restores Health.
Magnet
Same as Shrine of Succ and collects all xp dropped before activation.
Speed Boost
Boosts your speed temporarily.
Purple Lightning
Increases your attack speed temporarily.
Coin
Boosts gold gain temporarily.
Green Shield
Gives invincibility temporarily. Will blink as it starts to run out
Stopwatch
Stops enemies from moving, like time is stopped temporarily, but the timer keeps going.
Nuke
Kills all enemies in the surrounding area.
Characters
Fox*A good starter with rng and AOE damage weapon.

Sir Oofie**The tank build. Especially good with Lifesteal/Armor Tome/Hp Regen.

Calcium*Weapon and Ability
Made for speedCalciumInfoStuff

MegachadWeapon and Ability
Haven't tested how good his ability is at high levels or the cooldown limit.

OgreWeapon and Ability
1% Damage feels low per level if it is only additive.

Cl4nk**Weapon and Ability
Starts with 50 Shield and the crit chance per level can be pretty good even if you don't get Precision tome.

Athena*Weapon and Ability
(V1.0.4 Gains 2 thorns per level and 150% attack speed increase when there are no shields, according to dev discussion, text isn't updated)

RobinetteWeapon and Ability

MonkeWeapon and Ability
Good for Climbing in the forest but the desert doesn't have many spots you need to climb.

Tony McZoom*Weapon and Ability

BushWeapon and Ability
Shots pierce with sniper rifle and AOE explosion from ability.

Birdo*Weapon and Ability

NoelleWeapon and Ability

Amog*Weapon and Ability
Best poison, projectile count/attack speed builds can stem from him, has a whole item made specifically for him.

SpacemanWeapon and Ability
His weapon and ability are all about getting mobs of enemies together to pop for some Xp

BanditWeapon and Ability
Awesome for Attack Speed

NinjaWeapon and Ability
Good character for evasion, just prep for when you do take damage.

Vlad*Weapon and Ability
Made for Lifesteal and Hp Max increase builds.

Sir ChadwellWeapon and Ability
Definitely an Xp build character with his difficulty going up per level.

DiceheadWeapon and Ability

Weapons Stat Usage
WIP
For more in depth info on this dln385 has made a comprehensive guide on stats

All The Current Stats You Can Get For Weapons On Level Up
These are all the main stat types you'll see on level up for weapons, with some being less frequent and some only seen on few weapons like Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Projectile Bounce, and Knockback.

Keep in mind "less is more" when it comes to having multiple stat types apply for a weapon (unless you got Anvil with weapons with 3-4 stats), the more it has the more spread out the upgrades are for it, same applies to doing runs with less or more slots open to focus on leveling certain upgrades easier (Having 4 or 8 slots for weapons/tomes with 3 choices on level up makes it easy with 4 but hard with 8 to level specific weapons/tomes for quests or small runs).

Damage is the only stat you will see on all weapon types, so I didn't write it on each of the weapons below.

Weapons in Order of Least to Most Stats Available on Level Up

Aura just uses Size (And Damage so it has 2 Stats so Anvil does nothing to it BUT this means you have the best odds to have damage increases every level with it compared to other weapons. Projectile Count has no effect on it.)

Sniper Rifle has Projectile Count, and Size.
Blood Magic has Projectile Count, and Size.
Dexecutioner has Crit Chance, Projectile Count, and Size.

Firestaff has Projectile Count, Projectile Speed, and Size.
Bananarang has Projectile Count, Projectile Speed, and Size.
Lightning Staff has Projectile Count, Projectile Bounces, and Size.
Slutty Rocket has Crit Chance, Projectile Count, and Projectile Speed.
Sword, Hero Sword, and Corrupted Sword will have Projectile Count, Knockback, and Size. (Need to double check Hero and Corrupted Sword)
Aegis uses Projectile Count, Knockback, and Size (Size impacts the size of its blowback damage not the size of the shield).

Katana has Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Projectile Count, and Size.
Tornado has Projectile Count, Projectile Speed, Knockback, and Size.
Chunkers has Projectile Count, Projectile Speed, Knocback, and Size.
Bone has Projectile Count, Projectile Bounces, Projectile Speed, and Knockback.

Dice has Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Projectile Count, Projectile Speed, and Size.
Revolver has Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Projectile Bounces, Projectile Count, and Projectile Speed.
Bow has Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Projectile Count, Projectile Speed, and Size (Increases range since it pierces).

Duration Weapons in Order of Least to Most Stats Available on Level Up

Frostwalker uses Duration, and Size (Attack Speed does influence it, but not Projectile Count).

Axes have Duration, Projectile Count, and Size.
Black Hole has Duration, Projectile Count, and Size.
Flamewalker uses Duration, Projectile Count, and Size.

Poison Flask has Duration, Projectile Count, Projectile Speed, and Size.
Wireless Dagger has Duration, Projectile Count, Projectile Bounces, and Projectile Speed.
(Didn't honestly know it had Duration till I saw it being using in youtuber Shroudy Rowdy's The Game Took Over My Life at 13:07)

What Stats are More Unique on Level Up

Only Dice, Katana, Bow, and Revolver have Crit Chance and Crit Damage (Another weapon might have it too, need to check).
Revolver, Bone, Wireless Dagger, and Lightning Staff are the only ones to use Projectile Bounce (Need to check other weapons, and projectile bounce will make each Projectile bounce to another enemy. Great for Quantity Tome builds).

Weapons Stat Info To Find Out

Space Noodle, Shotgun, Mines, and Dragon's Breath.
Tomes
(All Tomes Max Levels are 99)
Agility**Agility Tome - How fast you move.
SizeSize Tome - The size of your attacks, projectiles, explosions, and more.
SilverSilver Tome - Gives you more silver from all sources.
ShieldShield Tome - Shield takes damage instead of losing HP before it breaks. Shield regenerates quickly after not taking damage for a while.
Regen*Regen Tome - The amount of HP you regenerate per minute.
Projectile SpeedProjectile Speed Tome - The speed of your projectiles.
Precision*Precision Tome - Chance to deal critical damage. More than 100% Crit Chance let's you Overcrit, dealing even more damage. Overcrits aren't defined, so it's unknown how exactly it works, but assuming it applies Critical Damage again for every Overcrit.
*Knockback Tome - The distance you push enemies when hitting them (Not all weapons do knockback).
Hp Tome - Max Hp.
Evasion Tome - Evasion is the chance to avoid an attack, taking no damage (Amount the Tome shows it gives is not equal to how much you get).
Golden Tome - Gives you more gold from all sources.
*Damage Tome - Increases damage of your attacks. Works well with all builds with weapons.
**Cooldown Tome - How quickly you shoot projectiles and perform attacks.
Thorns Tome*Thorns Tome - Deal damage to enemies when they attack you.
Quantity Tome - Increase number of attacks / projectiles (Doesn't work with all weapons).
*Bloody Tome - Your chance to heal for 1 when you hit an enemy. Over 100% will guarantee 1 heal, and give a chance to heal for a total of 2.
Attraction Tome*Attraction Tome - Pickup Range increases the distance from which you pick up xp.
Armor TomeArmor Tome - Armor reduces the damage you take.
Duration TomeDuration Tome - The duration of your attacks and projectiles.
*Luck Tome - Luck increases your chance to get higher tier offers from leveling up, shrines, and more (More might mean item chests).
*Xp Tome - Gives you more xp from all sources (Pairs well with Cursed Tome).
Cursed Tome**Cursed Tome - Difficulty increases enemy quantity, health, speed & strength. Only gamers pick this one.
Chaos TomeChaos Tome - Boost a random stat.
Need to check how random and how many choices it offers.

How to Unlock Them

Armor Tome - Kill 5,000 enemies as Sir Oofie.
Attraction Tome - Use Shrine of Succ 8 times.
Bloody Tome - Kill 12,500 enemies.
Duration Tome - Upgrade Axe to Level 10.
Quantity Tome - Fire 5,000 projectiles.
Thorns Tome - Block 250 attacks with Aegis.
Luck Tome - 0.01% chance to drop when killing an enemy.
Xp Tome - Break 20 pots in a single run.
Cursed Tome - Beat the Stage Boss in under 5 minutes.
Chaos Tome - Charge all Charge Shrine on a Tier 3 run across all 3 stages without leaving the charge zone. (15 Charge Shrines per level and guide on it by Screampy.

Items Common
WIP (Not all item's Unique effects stack. Ex Spiky Shield)
**+40% chance to poison enemies on hit.
(Great for high projectile count/attack speed/AOE)
+2% chance to spawn (healing) Borgar upon kiling an enemy
Charge Shrine: Charge 4% faster and get 7.5% increased rewards.
(V 1.0.4 6.5 to 7.5)
According to some testing it doesn't give exactly 15% unless you are starting at 0. Had a run with 1% evasion and when picking this up my evasion only increased to 14%. So as your evasion increases the amount this item gives is lessened. Later when I acquired a 2nd it went from 17% to 26%, 26% to 34%, and finally 34% to 40%. It's best to get these the lower your evasion is.
Equivalent of getting 0.75 hp per sec. (V1.0.4 from 35 to 45)
Unknown how it stacks yet and how less effective it is against bosses.
Testing shows its scaling doesn't go up linearly, and does not guarantee free chests at 10 keys. (Might be rebalanced with V 1.0.4, unknown) (Testing thanks to Capt.riotson)
Icy CrystalSlowing enemies is always good.
SkulegCactus
How to Unlock

Upgrade Cooldown Tome to Level 5
Defeat a Stage Boss in under 30 seconds
Die 10 Times
Crit 100 times
Purchase 25 chests
Defeat a Miniboss in 25 seconds
Upgrade Agility Tome to Level 5
Kill 100 cactus enemies with thorns damage
Survival the Final Swarm for 60 seconds
Get 50 kills with Frostwalker
Obtain 40% Difficulty
Items Rare
As stacks on enemies increase with this a red tint is displayed on their hp bar and when their health reached the red marked zone, they die. Getting more of the item might increase it's range/PROC. (Info thanks to Agent of Avarice)
Good early game when your health is already a low number
Brass KnucklesHow far do they have to be? Does it scale on distance or just check if they are within set distance?
Demonic BladeBudget Lifesteal.
100 Hp when maxed, 4x better then Oats.
Echo ShardUnknown if it % goes up as you get more of this item.
Moldy GlovesIf truly 100% per hit this is is great for swarms of enemies and poison builds (Amog)
Need good movement speed for this to make money quick.
Have to make sure not be nudged.
Leeching Crystal*Only good as long as you never use Hp Regen.
KevinI don't know why you would want this except for some kind of self imposed challenge, or if it triggers... something like Toxic Barrel. Just make sure to have enough healing/life steal or he will start lowering you hp.

How to Unlock

Items Epic
Beefy RingSeems to also provide small health increase (9 maybe unless it scales on something).
Does stack cleanly. Great for Turbo Challenge.
Checked a run I did and it seems the Armor and Thorn bonus do not stack with 2nd pickup of this. (Might be bug or intentional, V1.0.4 Unknown)
Don't know the exact time of invincibility frames yet. Just needs to be timed.
Unknown speed per attack speed except for max.
Slutty Cannon Shattered KnowledgeGreat for when you already have enemies in groups like with black holes.
Quin's Mask
Toxic BarrelGreat for poison builds/lifesteal (Anything poison is just good for Amog)
Gas MaskGamer GogglesHard to tell the scaling per health and if it stacks with itself.
Eagle ClawsBetter Scarf, but the knocking into the air can be bad for short range builds (Assuming it only makes them go up and not away)
Requires 1,000 kills for full usage, still good.
Bob (Dead)12 units/s is the average walk speed, so if you used this guy with Calcium, you could get him to continually spawn ghosts that attack one enemy before disappearing. (ProfiFaust has gotten 170 units/s with Bob)
Grandma's Secret TonicGreat for Crit build but do Overcrits retrigger?
Quin's MaskKeep in mind it doesn't specify last so you can use Boss Curse to spawn multiple Stage Bosses to increase you chance of getting it.
Crused GrabbiesPerfect for Amog builds.

How to Unlock

Items Legendary
Very good with poisons, lifesteals, bloodmark, and anything that procs.
*
It isn't specified how much Megacrits do, and unknown when stacked if chance increases and by what amount.
Lightning OrbGood combo with Ice cube for stunning/slowing.
ChonkplateGreat for Tank builds with Overheal (Only current source of this stat) giving you extra health cap and lifesteal.
Sucky MagnetI don't need to explain how great this is
Holy BookBest Item for Hp Max and Hp Regen builds, besides Chonkplate.
Speed BoiCooldown seems to be around 20-30 seconds. Very good with final swarm. Unknown if scales/stacks.
Energy Core
AnvilAnvil - Weapon Upgrades can have +1 stats.
Allows (isn't guaranteed every time) on level up your weapons to give you 3 separate stat upgrades instead of 2. A must have for luck builds especially. (Like getting Size, Damage, and Crit Chance all from 1 level up to your weapon. Also unknown if it stacks).
Soul HarvesterSoul Harvester - Killing an enemy summons 2 homing souls.
Joe's DaggerJoe's Dagger - 1% chance to Execute an enemy. Performing Execute increases Damage by 1% (Unknown if getting Executes with Dexecutioner Execute chance counts towards this).
Bloody CleaverBloody Cleaver - Lifesteal now triggers Bloodmark stacks. Also gain 50% chance to apply Bloodmark. (See Unstable Transfusion the Rare Item for Bloodmark explanation and also it's good item combo to get together).

Good Item/Weapon/Character Combos
Lifesteal Tome/Hp Regen, Armor Tome, and Xp Tome (With Sir Oofies especially)
Good for surviving when you run out of time, with how many enemies spawn, if you can hit enemies AOE, Projectiles, Projectile Bounces, etc, that trigger lifesteal to outheal the damage. Xp tome could be swapped out if you need more damage or ways to trigger lifesteal. (Chonkplate makes surviving much easier with its 75% boost to Health as Overheal and 20% Lifesteal)

Hp Regen and Armor Tome can be a good combo but you need to make sure to have enough Hp if your Regen isn't fast enough. If your Hp Regen is quick enough getting Spikey Shield and Chonkplate can turn your armor to good thorns damage and gives you enough health to survive some hits. Just watch out for Leeching Crystal if you unlocked it but haven't gotten Toggler yet or it will ruin the build. (Hp Regen is recommended instead of Lifesteal when you aren't going for Quantity/Cooldown Tomes since)

Playing as Calcium comboing with Turbo Skates (40% Max Attack speed per stack), Golden Sneakers, Coward's Cloak (For if you get hit), Feathers, and Turbo Socks since you are all about speed. Bob is especially good when you have crazy speed with how many of him you can trigger to spawn (ProfiFaust has tested how crazy he can get when you reach 170 units/s).

Chunkers, Axes, and Aegis can combo together, with them all being close to you and requiring quantity and size. Same with Aura, Flame/FrostWalker, all going well with size tome.

Precision Tome, Demonic Blade
Okay combo for healing besides lifesteal tome, but you need high crit chance for it to trigger often, since it's only 25% of the time when you crit. Unknown if Overcrits double trigger it.

Playing as Amog with Lifesteal can be a great combo due to hit poison damage triggering Lifesteal. Getting him Overpowered lamp, Moldy Gloves, Unstable transfusion, and Moldy Cheese just makes his damage to groups that much better. (Blackhole can help with how it will pull enemies together, then the poison flask with his ability will pop and spread it and Gas Mask is made for him.)

Aegis with Quantity can be a great defensive strategy if you many to get enough so your can focus more on damage and have your Quantity help your defense and offense at the same time for the rest of your build.

Cursed and Xp Tome go well together for increase both enemies and xp. Just make sure you are able to handle it as you increase the difficulty.

Size Tome when using Aura/Chunkers/Sword/Flamewalker/Frostwalker/Banana/Axes can make these go crazy.
Quantity Tome with Flame/Frostwalker (can be crazy, especially with size), Aegis (Perfect for defense/afk runs), Banana, Arrow, and Slutty Rocket. It's recommended when you have a full build of weapons that can use quantity; otherwise, attack speed could be better.
Attack Speed is best with items that already increase projectile count/attacks like Revolver, Bone, Firestaff, and Flamewalker (For some weapons, it's better to have Cooldown tome over Quantity tome if you are already getting enough Quantity from level ups).

Dicehead with the Dice can be pretty crazy (as you might have seen from the leaderboards) due to his chance to level up again every level (V1.0.4 nerfed it after level 100) and his Dice weapon having a 1 in 6 chance to increase crit chance every time they are thrown. With Attack Speed and/or quantity, you can get that crit chance increase quite a lot.
Extra Boss/Other Info
On first playthrough of the game as a whole, you can get a free 3rd weapon (Banana/Katana/Shotgun) and 3rd tome (Lucky Tome). Once you die in the run with either/both, you unlock them for purchase, and it might disable you from finding them normally again (Lucky tome could be possible again, but it is a 0.01% chance per enemy death and I haven't seen it since I unlocked it.). With this information theoretically you could attempt a crazy run, you could get up to 5 total weapons/tomes in a good run after a lot of playtime after unlocking the weapon/tome slots but getting that far without accidentally getting Lucky Tome/Banana/Katana/Shotgun could be difficulty with how randomly it could drop from an enemy if you try this. Katana and Shotgun can be easiest to do this with their 5% chance. My friend pulled it off and anything in the 5th weapon slot, which won't show on your UI, but will show as an option to upgrade when leveling up.. This is more of a cool idea and very unknown if it is possible and would be extremely hard to test.

Had info from my friend who reached the Tier 3 Boss. Currently the boss fight is very
difficult with plans to be patched later according to a discussion made by the dev
Changed in V1.0.4. The final boss teleports you to a boss arena and disables your other weapons besides your primary, but 1 comes back every phase (Assuming 3 phases). I don't know what my friends exact timing/scaling/difficulty was set at but the boss had 9.1 million health so you will need to be good at dodging and/or dealing damage to kill him. Around 75%, 50%, 25% health he pulls up a shield you can only disable by standing next to 3 charge/pylons shrines (Keep in mind he heals while shield is up so be quick) that just disable his shield while avoiding his attacks (V1.0.4 Increase the zone size and heal boss less. His orbs do less damage, less orbs, blue orbs freeze for 1s not 3s now, orbs cooldown is longer, and your weapon range has been increased during the fight).

If you need some good run ideas this youtuber covers cool runs. DexTag
Enemies
Crowns mean they are Elite enemies and the Purple Swords mean they came from the Challenge Shrine. You have a chance to get items from Elites (Exact chance unknown) and a guaranteed item after killing a group of enemies from the Challenge Shrine.

The first Mini Boss spawns at 7:00 for Tier 1 & 2, and 6:30 for Tier 3, with the 2nd one spawning at 2:00 for Tier 1 & 2, and 3:00 for Tier 3.
Swarms happen at 6:00 Tier 1 & 2, 5:30 for Tier 3, 4:00 for Tier 3, 3:00 Tier 1 & 2, Final Swarm 0:00, and Black Ghosts at -1:00.

I still dont know what "Beat the Stage Boss in under 5 Minutes" means, because the wording, as with many things in this game, is unclear.
Do i spawn the boss and need to kill (beat) him in less than 5 minutes or do i need to finish the stage in under 5 minutes?

Does duration tome affect poison from mouldy cheese (not the flask)? Triggering poison on hit is really useful for bosses since it stacks up quickly if you're attacking fast, and duration would increase the soft cap on "max stacks" you can fit in with whatever attack speed ya got
IcyCyborg  [author] 14 hours ago
I'm still curious about it too and how duration impacts it if it's not a bug.
dln385 14 hours ago
@IcyCyborg Good eye! Thanks for the timestamp. I ran Wireless Dagger twice today and still didn't get Duration. I wonder if this game has rare upgrade stats or if Shroudy found a bug? I've added the stat either way.
IcyCyborg  [author] 16 hours ago
@dln385 I double checked and Wireless Dagger does have duration, it's more rare. It's starting duration is at 1.5s and increases to 1.75s with a common rarity upgrade on level up. I forgot I only found out when I was randomly watching a youtuber using it. It was at 13:07 of Shroudy Rowdy's "This Game Took Over My Life" video.

@dln385 Just realized I misread the part about Wireless Dagger in your message. You are probably right need to recheck my info

Adding the Rank info to the Basics section
IcyCyborg  [author] 16 hours ago
@Roomi Forgot I think I talked to another commentter about it but forgot to mention it's purpose being so you can get a Skin/Quest done at Rank 100 otherwise decorative showing how well you've done/progressed along with your run counter with characters
IcyCyborg  [author] 17 hours ago
@dln385 I knew I forgot to add one of the Proejectile Speed and didn't notice the Size for Black Hole. Black Hole Does have duration though I did check and take screenshots so I wouldn't forget. Also I appreciate the help man!
