Introduction
Hello Fellow Humans,

Here is a list of every character who you can allow into your home and at least one tell that they are a Visitor. You can likewise use the opposite of this information to prove that they are Human.

Some basic knowledge:
1) When Humans die, they become trash bags. You can observe this without shooting a tenant when the visitors kill during the night. They always kill a Human, and that person will become a trash bag.
2) When Visitors die, their corpses lie where you shot them. This may or may not be accompanied by a jumpscare.

In this way, you can definitively determine whether a tenant was a Human or a Visitor judging by the fact that they are in trash bags or a corpse.

3) I have played this game extensively online and offline, and my current working knowledge is that if one(1) Visitor is in your house, they will not kill no matter how many Humans are in the house. When a second(2) Visitor is added to the house, a Human will be killed. There is a rumor going around that states the hunchback/cashier girl will not kill. This is not true, but since she is always the first Visitor in the house if you let her, she will not kill until you add another Visitor to the house. It makes it seem like she's harmless, but the simple fact is that you need two Visitors for Humans to start getting killed.

Some terminology I will be using and its meaning:
1) When I say something is "normal," I mean that it is what FEMA considers normal. For teeth, this mean no bleeding gums and no all-white teeth. For hands, this means clean nails and no skin irritations/infections. For eyes, this means no redness (Rapid Eye Movement is kinda hard to identify). For armpits, this means no fungal infection and some hair (I try to specify if they are shaved or fully hairy). For photo, this means no spots. For ears, this means no bugs or ooze. Note that many characters do in fact have tells that are very subtle, such as different color irises in their eyes or slight changes in their photos. This is not the ultimate, exhaustive list of every tell, but rather a quick reference with at least one tell for everyone.

2) My character names may not line up with what other people will describe them as, but my descriptor should identify them easily.

My method for some tenants:

For tenants that always seem to be either always Human or always Visitor, I gather their profile then kill them to confirm their role. If their role stays the same five times in a row, I stop gathering profile details and just kill on sight (KOS). Once I have killed them ten times and they have not been the other role, I classify them as Always Human or Always Visitor. This is not infallible and one or more of these tenants might be able to be both roles if I just had crazy luck. Please comment if you had differing results for one of these tenants and the corresponding tells that are different from my listed profiles.

Some others tips and trivia:
1) Some characters tend to show up in certain parts of the game. For instance, the gravedigger tends to show up early game while the raincoat slicker kid tends to show up lategame. Some characters might genuinely be gated until a certain day. To find them and seek out their tells, I recommend setting up a save at the end of days 2, 7, and 9 to maximize your chances of seeing certain characters. The reason you do this at the end of the day and before nighttime is because the game randomly rolls the people who arrive at your door when you enter nighttime. If you save and it is already nighttime, it will have already locked in the people you will see.

2) Some characters seem to be pretty rare to see, even on the nights where they are most likely to appear. These include the Dreamer/Based Intruder, the Britbong/Gangster, and Best Son 01.
Visitor Tells: Humans

Tall Man: He arrives N1 (Night 1) no matter what, and he is always a Human.

Neighbor's Daughter: She arrives N4 before the cat lady no matter what, and she is always a Human.

Fireman: He arrives at the end of N7, and is always a Human. He also gives you a FEMA slip--Schweet!

Blind Guy: He tends to show up at mid/late game and is always a Human. I have killed him (to test his results) at least 10 times and he has always been Human. Here is his Human profile in case I'm wrong and he can be a Visitor: White teeth, bloody hands, no eyes, normal armpits, glowing eyes in photo, and normal ears.

Mouth-Sewn-Shut Guy: He tends to show up mid/late game and is always a Human. I have killed him at least 10 times and he has always been Human. Here is his Human profile in case I'm wrong and he can be Visitor: Bloody yellow teeth, bloody fingers, normal eyes, shaved pits, face is red in photo, pierced normal ears.

Widow: She can show up anytime, but tends to show up lategame and is always a Human. I have killed her at least 10 times and she has always been a Human. Here is her Human profile in case I'm wrong and she can be a Visitor: White teeth with a gap, normal hands, red eyes, fungal armpits, normal photo, empty pierced normal ears.

Glasses Lady: She tends to show up mid/lategame and is always a Human. I have killed her at least 10 times and she has always been a Human. Here is her Human profile in case I'm wrong and she can be a Visitor: Yellow teeth with missing front tooth, blisters on hands, red eyes, bald armpits, normal photo, ooze in ears.

FEMA(?) Guy/Hazmat Guy: He tends to show up mid/lategame and is always a Human. I have killed him at least 10 times and he has always been a Human. Here is his Human profile in case I'm wrong and he can be a Visitor: Yellow teeth, blue gloved hands, red eyes, fungal armpits, spots on photo, ooze residue in ears.

Cultists: They are FORCED into your home on N8. They are all Humans.
Visitor Tells: Visitors

Hunchback/Cashier Lady: She arrives N1 directly after the Tall Man and is always a Visitor.

Cat Lady: She arrives N4 directly after the Neighbor's daughter and should be the final possible tenant that night unless you have the DoorDash Guy (He messes up the night's order). She is always a Visitor.

Grandma/Babushka: She tends to arrive mid/lategame and is always a Visitor. I have killed her 10 times and she has always been a Visitor. Here is her Visitor profile in case I'm wrong and she can be a Human: Missing teeth, six-fingered hands, red eyes, fungal armpits, black shadow photo, normal ears.

Brood Mother: She can arrive anytime but tends to arrive midgame and is always a Visitor. I have killed her 10 times and she has always been a Visitor. Here is her Visitor profile in case I'm wrong and she can be a Human: filed teeth, chipped nails, red jaundiced eyes, bald armpits, spots on photo, bug in ears.

Immortal Guy/Sweater Guy: He can arrive anytime (I think) but tends to arrive lategame and is always a Visitor. Here is his Visitor profile in case I'm wrong and he can be a Human: White teeth, dirty nails, normal eyes with REM (Rapid Eye Movement), bald armpits with skin irritation, photo with a weird thumbprint aura, bug in ears.

Jacket Lady/Cold Lady: She can arrive anytime (I think) but tends to arrive earlygame and is always a Visitor. Here is her Visitor profile in case I'm wrong and she can be a Human: White teeth with bleeding gums, torn nails, normal eyes with REM, fungal armpits, black area near stomach in photo, and normal ears with missing gauge.
Visitor Tells: Can Be Humans or Visitors

Amogus: He can show up anytime but tends to show up early/midgame. Some think he's always Visitor but he can be Human. One of his Visitor tells is that his nails will be dirty when he's a Visitor.

Deadbeat Mom/Mom with Daughter: She can show up anytime buts tends to show up earlygame. If she has a skin irritation on her hands/arms, she is a Visitor.

Teenage Girl/Runaway: She can show up anytime but tends to show up earlygame. If she has a skin irritation on her hands, she is a Visitor.

Wheelchair: He tends to show up mid/lategame but tends to show up midgame. If all fingertips are missing instead of just one, you guessed it... Visitor. This is also an achievement.

Fortune Teller/Tarot Lady: She can show up anytime but tends to show up earlygame. If her eyes are red, she is a Visitor.

Woodsman: He can show up anytime but tends to show up earlygame. If his eyes are red, he is a Visitor.

Scientist/Nerd: He can show up anytime but tends to show up midgame. If his palms are irritated, he is a Visitor.

Prostitute: She can to show up mid/lategame but tends to show up midgame. If her photo has glowing eyes, she is a Visitor. Her Human photo is just normal with no glowing eyes.

Beer Guy/Sun Guy: He can show up anytime but tends to show up midgame. If his eyes are red, he is a Visitor.

Big Bald Guy/"Stand-Up Guy": He can show up anytime but tends to show up midgame. If his eyes are red, he is a Visitor.

Weed Fiend/Druggie: He tends to show up early/midgame but tends to show up earlygame. If his eyes are NORMAL, he is a Visitor. When he is human, his eyes will be bloodshot. Ironically, he is only Human when he is baked lmao.

Cabby/Green Cap Crazy Eyes Guy: He can show up anytime but tends to show up midgame. If his eyes are normal, he is a Visitor. This guy is not to be confused with the Crop-Top Guy who also has a green cap.

Boiling Fat Shirtless Guy: He can show up mid/lategame but tends to show up midgame. If he has fungal armpits, he is a Visitor.

Doctor: He can show up anytime but tends to show up lategame. If his photo is normal he is a Visitor. His Human photo will have spots near the heart.

Bowtie Guy/Dead Hand Guy: He can show up mid/lategame but tends to show up lategame. If his armpits are normal, he is a Visitor.

Crop-Top Guy: He can show up anytime but tends to show up earlygame. If he has a skin infection on his hands, he is a Visitor.

Injured Guy/Shot Guy: He can show up mid/lategame but tends to show up lategame. If his armpits are scratched with an irritation, he is a Visitor.

Nun: She can show up anytime but tends to show up midgame. If a bug crawls out of her ear, she is a Visitor. The ear check only comes on D8 (Day 8), so it could be a while to check her. Others say that her photos are different as well, but I have not verified this yet.

Britbong/Gangster/Pete Tong guy: He can show up anytime but tends to show up lategame. If he has bloody gums and fungal armpits, he is a Visitor.

Best Son 01/"Mama's Boy": He can show up mid/lategame but tends to show up lategame. If his gums are bleeding and he has a cracked tooth, he is a Visitor. He will also have normal eyes and normal hands if he is a Visitor.

Blonde Wife/FEMA wife: She can show up mid/lategame but tends to show up lategame. If her nails are NOT painted and she has red eyes, she is a Visitor.

Couple/Husband and Wife: They can show up anytime but tend to show up earlygame. If the husband does NOT have bruises on his knuckles, they are Visitors. Sadly, the implication here is that the Human version of him beats his wife because he does have bruises on his knuckles.

Murder Maniac/Purple Shirt Guy: He can show up mid/lategame but tends to show up lategame. If he has red eyes with GREEN irises, yellow teeth with bleeding gums, and black nails on his hands, he is a Visitor. His Human version has BLUE irises.

Discord Mod/"Aggro Guy": He tends to show up mid/lategame. The game calls him "Aggro Guy" when you get his phone number. If he has white teeth, bites on his hands with BROKEN nails, and shaved armpits with a skin irritation, he is a Visitor.

Homeless Guy: He can show up mid/lategame but tends to show up lategame. If he has bald armpits and his photo has a black shadow, he is a Visitor.

Bighead/"Muh Rights" guy: He can show up anytime but tends to show up midgame. If he has bald armpits, he is a Visitor.

Dreamer/Based Intruder: He can show up mid/lategame but tends to show up lategame. If he has messed up teeth, clean fingers, and red eyes, he is a Visitor.

Gravedigger: He can show up anytime but tends to show up earlygame. This guy's tells are subtle af. I've only been able to notice that when he is a Visitor, he has multiple shadows surrounding him in his photo. I've been checking on his dialogue as some have suggested but he has said the grave is empty even when he's a visitor. This could be a glitch on my end.

Raincoat Slicker Kid: He will not (can't?) enter your house. I've been messing with stuff to see if he can enter, but nothing yet.

@neb that is normal, yes. When she has rashes on hands, she is human. Normal hands means she is a Visitor.

The smoking twin had rashes on her hands and was still human in my run :)

@123 and @Gusto Gav - - - I just did a run where I kept the sweater guy until the end of the game. Unfortunately the dialogue options for the raincoat kid didn't change; I wasn't able to invite them in. :(
Gusto Gav  [author] 26 Sep @ 1:58pm
@123 it’s possible. Getting both of them to show up in the same run is hard enough, but the main thing is that sweater guy tends to show up lategame. VERY RARELY have I seen him in the early-midgame, but if I see him again in that timeframe I’ll snag him and start rerolling the lategame to get the raincoat kid to show up too.

I speculate that you have to have sweater guy in your house to interact more with the raincoat kid as sweater guy makes mention of his daughter in a poncho.

@сова с пёрышком yes, when sun guy is Human, his eyes are yellow asf. When he’s Visitor, his eyes are not really yellow and instead red.
Killed the sun/beer guy when his eyes were red (I think?) they had obvious veins and the white part of those was kind of dark. Did I conguse yellow eyes with red eyes..? It would be pretty nice to have a pic for the "100% a visitor" traits:lunar2020contentsnake:

@Dirk sometimes the game does not jumpscare when you kill a Visitor. As long as it is their corpse and not trash bags, they are a Visitor.
