A mod to add food recipes from the Akhinnae Universe

”…Imperial food is versatile and nourishing. Sharing meals and recipes with friends and family during long winter nights has been a favourite pastime for as long as the Empire has existed. The diverse cuisines of the original core world provinces were carried outward by colonists and ship crews as reminders of what home tastes like, and they can still be found in recipes across the Empire—from the smallest supply station to the busy capitals of distant Crown colonies…” – from “History of Imperial Food” by Donidas Lenikh

This mod adds eleven cookable meal packs to the food production menu that fit into the Akhinnae Empire and are primarily meant as an immersion help for my scenarios. They can be created with vanilla items, I have not (yet?) created custom plants etc. to be included in this mod. The packs are a bit more expensive to cook and they take pretty long to create (because cooking times!) so they are not overly competitive in comparison to the vanilla food. The mod does not replace any vanilla food and should be compatible with other food mods. Most of them consume ice, as I figured the literal “rehydration” of the food as advertised on the block should use… you know.. water!

Roasted Bread – minimal benefits, dirty cheap to make
Fried Algae – very small benefits, Akhinnen version of the Crisps
Sallita – a salad, gives decent health back
Enriched Algae salad – will not fill you much but does give a small health boost and a small radiation reduction due to the iodine
Stractils – noodles with mushroom cream
Salugras – sweet-salty dumplings
Brannakh – a porridge
Brasaolla – a spicy lentil dish
Deladas – a sort of sweet and spicy pancake
Synth Meat Stew – made from plant/insect meat and vegetables
Verdulas – a filling venison-vegetables bowl

“Akhi.. Hakhu… what the heck?!”
Akhinnae – it’s my own world, with lore, language, history – I am a nerd, you know?
“Those letters are wonky”
They are. But I developed them and they accompany my world – so I am happy!
“Can you create a Halo/Star Wars/Westworld Screen mod?”
Possibly? But I will not. I don’t like to dabble in copyrighted stuff and I invest most of my free time into my own world, sorry!

Thanks a lot! Its easy make it compatible with Apex, just add to recipes the water each one are going to deliver (or no water) and the buffs to get the char full. So each food we eat, our stomach is getting full of food. Just another more param to add to the foods, but simply xD

This is currently "only" a flavouring mod (haha) for my scenarios - if I expand it I will consider making an Apex Advanced version for it if there is demand :)

Amazing, thanks!!!
Is possible make a Apex Advanced version of this, please? I mean, add some water and boiled status to the foods?

I don't think that would actually work, the food buffs have a timer, if you could add a temp volume buff (weight not being the issue in SE), the items you could carry more would.. what, be dropped? I don't think the mechanics support that type of buff, sorry
