🔑 Just a simple Guide to unlocking powerful weapons, legendary gear, blueprints, and other rare rewards.

The Hunting Crossbow is an endgame weapon unlocked via:
⠀⠀➥ 🕹️Side Quest ➔ "Hunting Yaga" (Lvl 11)
⠀⠀➥ 📍Location ➔ National Park

This mission appears after you unlock the 🏠Abandoned House Safe Zone in the National Park. Max will appear in your hideout and task you with hunting a Yaga, promising the crossbow “Lizzy” as a reward.

⚠️ Mission is tough

• You’ll face a miniboss and waves of human enemies in a forest at night
  
• So ideally, attempt it near the end of the game when your character is fully leveled
  
  • ... or YOLO like me in co-op ;)

• Hardest part is dealing with 💀Volatiles, which are attracted to loud sounds
  
• Stick to melee / stealth for safety ➔ Avoid guns‼️

• Crossbows have no durability.
  
• Most enemies die in 1-2 shots depending on size and hit location.
  
• Fired bolts can be picked up and reused.
  
• Crafting bolts is cheap: 4 bolts = 12 Scrap + 2 Feathers.
  
• Special bolts (Fire, Shock) can be unlocked at Safe Zones.

Easiest way to get the Shotgun is during:
⠀⠀➥ 🕹️Story Mission ➔ "A New Strain" (6/17)

Mid-mission (cutscene), Kyle grabs a scientist’s shotgun ➔ adding it permanently to your inventory and giving you access to powerful one-shot-one-kill attacks.

Probably even easier ➔ loot the convoy on the bridge, check the train wagons, and grab regular shotgun

After completing Story Mission "Power Gambit" (5/17):
⠀⠀➥ Some human enemies in Castor Woods will spawn with guns.
⠀⠀➥ A few heavy types carry shotguns, which can be looted if you defeat them.

Feeling Lucky?
⠀⠀➥ Convoys have a chance to include a shotgun along with ammo and other rare items.
⠀⠀➥ Available early in the game.

⠀➥ 🐣Easter Egg: Fan-favorite Korek Machete returns with a new name.

  • Obtain it on the roof of Nate Market (NW of Memorial Hill of Heroes)
    
  • In a small locked room
    
  • 💡Knock 77× on the wall-mounted stash box to open it

⠀➥ 🐣Easter Egg: Legendary sword from 1st Dying Light returns with V2

Collect 8× sigils for Pentagram:
• The Void ➔ Cave behind waterfall SE of the Monastery
  
• Blood ➔ Fountain in the park E of Valentine Asylum
  
• Curse ➔ N of Memorial Hill of Heroes, near skeletal remains
  
• Death ➔ Catacombs beneath Old Town church (enter via main doors)
  
• Sacrifice ➔ Ruined structure SW of Abandoned House, National Park
  
• Witch’s Mark ➔ Small shack further SW of Abandoned House
  
• The Moon ➔ Narrow path by waterfall SW of the Monastery
  
• Shadow ➔ Small altar inside Exile's Cave
  
  • 💡Note: Appears mid-story, likely to prevent unlocking it too early.

Go/Return to the summit and place the 8 stones on the posts bracing the blade ➔ this triggers a fight. Defeat the ambush, and the sword is yours.
⠀⠀➥ 📍Location: 🗺️Map[mapgenie.io]

⠀➥ 🐣Easter Egg: Harry Potter × Minecraft × Nazi gold train[en.wikipedia.org] (disappeared in Poland during WWII)

• 📍Location: 🗺️Map[mapgenie.io]
  
• 🚶How to Get?
  
  • On top of the bridge, look for the debris-covered train tunnel with ❝9¾❞ written on the wall.
    
  • Walk through the wall and smash the Minecraft gravel blocks.
    
  • At the back of the train you’ll discover the blueprint.
• 💥Effect: When used, your character makes a hand sign and triggers an explosion in front of them.

The Needle
➥ Legendary SMG
• 📍Location: 🗺️Map[mapgenie.io]
  
• 💡Tip: Inside the garage ➔ solve the small electricity puzzle by pulling the cable from the container next to it.

The Elite
➥ Legendary Pistol
• 📍Location: 🗺️Map[mapgenie.io]
  
• 💡Tip: Clear the Convoy, then check the back of a container ➔ solve the simple cable puzzle to unlock it.

Ciupaga
➥ Legendary One-handed Axe
• 📍Location: 🗺️Map[mapgenie.io]
  
• 💡Tip: South side of the building ➔ Balcony on the top floor ➔ Check above the door

Sunray
➥ Legendary Revolver
• 📍Location: 🗺️Map[mapgenie.io] (waiting for pin approval)
  
• 💡Tip: Can be found in North house in Golden Pine ➔ Grab fuse from house ➔ Go down hatch behind house ➔ Fix electricity and open door ➔ Open safe (code: 02 02 19).
