Intro 💡
Welcome to the 100% Achievement Guide to Quartet. This guide is complete with information that should help you net all 26 achievements. However, it will be best for you to enjoy the game without guides for your first try to experience the game play and story of the game.
It is definitely a game worth trying without guides, especially since the story writer of the game has taken about 2 years to refine and make the story line fluid and awesome as how it is today.
The game is tagged as linear and it sure is! Most of the maps can be figured by yourself, but should there be circumstances you are stuck, then this guide will hopefully serve your needs!
Do note some of the achievements' information may be pretty long. As such, they are broken two several parts. You can simply Ctrl+F or click on the side menu for achievements you are specifically searching for.
The achievements have all been placed in its own section. The icons will let you know the type of achievements.
📖 = Story Achievements
💪 = Level Achievements
❗ = Side Quest Achievements
💰 = Miss-able Side Objectives Achievements

Good luck with the achievements and have fun!

The Dramatic Question 📖
Simply complete the prologue and you will get this achievement.
Ben’s Chapter 📖
The next four achievements will likely be the next achievements you will obtain in the game. There is no hard or fast rule on which character chapter you will have to go as you will need to play all the characters in the end.
Enjoy the stories and learn more about the world in Quartet as you go! To be honest, all chapters till Chapter 10 are linear, if you read the dialogues and stories to know what to do. Once you complete Ben’s chapter, the achievement will trigger.
Nikolai’s Chapter 📖
As the achievement description goes, complete Nikolai’s chapter to obtain this achievement. Warning ahead though, Nikolai’s chapter is probably the darkest out of the four character chapters as it goes down into topics on wars and their atrocities.
Cordelia’s Chapter 📖
While there are more main characters than the four select-able chapters in the beginning, each of these chapters explore two characters of stories mesh into one.
As always, simply complete Cordelia’s chapter to obtain the achievement. You are starting to see the link between the characters’ stories and world. But is it that simple?
Alexandra’s Chapter 📖
The last character chapter or at least it was for me. Another great story told through the eyes of yet another main character. Now, you may wonder how the story is going to go to mesh all the characters and stories together. Fret not! The better parts will come. Complete Alexandra’s Chapter to obtain the achievement.
In addition, you should see a star below the character whose chapter has been completed.
Chapter 5 📖
The game overall is linear. Well, that is mentioned in the game tag itself. Despite that, the wonderful story and cast make things exciting all time.
Chapter 5 to 10 or the numbered chapters for short, really serves to boost and join the stories as mentioned previously together neatly.
Complete Chapter 5 to obtain the achievement.
Chapter 6 📖
Overall, there are no miss-able achievements before clearing the chapter related achievements. That said, all the achievements can be obtained in a single play through, though I have got to emphasize that you read the story and dialogue as they pretty much serve the guidelines on what to do at any point of the game.
Complete Chapter 6 to obtain the achievement.
Chapter 7 📖
We are so close to everyone getting together. As the story picks up, it is a good time to mention that strategy in the game still matters. Yes, despite the game being linear and all, strategies are needed. If you still have not realized, enemies are technically grouped to either be resistant against magic or against your day-to-day melee attacks or skills. So, plan your moves wisely!
Time to complete Chapter 7 for yet another easy achievement!
Chapter 8 📖
Another game mechanic is the element system. Pretty much like many other RPGs out there, magic spells have their strengths and weaknesses, but in this case, it is the enemy type against your spells.
In the earlier builds, it is rather tough to distinguish the weaknesses of enemies, but kudos to the developers as they have made it simple by enabling the toolkit to mention what they are weak against once you managed to land their weakness at least once.
Complete Chapter 8 for another sweet juicy achievement.
Chapter 9 📖
There are always mini puzzles throughout the chapters and beyond. They are not really a big trouble luckily and you can always reset them. On the other hand, there is always a card battle system like the Triple Triad in FF series. And once again, you are in luck, as the card system doesn’t really provide any achievements, but they do provide some good rewards upon defeating the card owners the first time.
Complete Chapter 9 to obtain the achievement.
Chapter 10 📖
Ah! Just when you think you can get your own airship! Oh wells, maybe we are not fated to be… But maybe we will get to fly around somehow hmm…
The climax to the first major part of the story will come by and after the completion of chapter 10, you will technically unlock a whole new world, or maybe even more!
For now, enjoy the story yet again. Complete Chapter 10 to obtain the achievement.
The Mighty 💪
There are three level related achievements, and you get those pretty much when one of your characters reaches the required levels of 30, 40 and 50.
For this achievement, you will probably get it before you complete Chapter 10. In honesty, you do not really need to grind at all in the numbered chapters. As mentioned, simply reach level 30 and you will obtain this achievement.
Heroes of Legend 💪
For level 40 and 50, you do need to start grinding to obtain the achievements. This is also the point where the open world unlocks, and you can do many side quests for more achievements or to find hidden secrets to gain equipment and even spells for some instance (which are usually related to equipment as well).
Do refer to Power Overwhelming achievement section for my method to power level smooth and easy.
Once one of your characters reaches Level 40, this achievement will be triggered.
Power Overwhelming 💪
Do not be fooled by the overwhelming number! If you make the effort to grind a bit, you can reach level 50 fast, in about an hour.
There is no fixed method to get level up since there are many enemies that can do the trick.
For me though, my recommendation. Head to Nikolai’s world and fly south to Scorched Mountain. This is also the cave/hills that you can obtain one of the legendary equipment “Yamato”.
Ensure that you have a whole lot of ethers before you do the leveling. If you do not have, simply fly to one of the major cities and restock on some potions.
Now, back to the hills, you will encounter the skeleton like creatures, called Slimosaur.
I will utilize Cordelia’s ultimate spell, Almighty, which does a truckload of damage, but also costs a lot of AP.
If you are just starting out to explore the open world, you may still have trouble with AP management, which is why after every battle you will have to use one or two ethers to have enough AP to go onward the next battle. Each battle won gives you quite a big chunk of exp. About two battles to level up if you are about below Level 40.
It will be around three to five battles to level up nearing 50, but you get the hint.
The good thing is that you can just leave the caves and re-enter and the monsters will re-spawn.
As such, rinse and repeat and you will reach level 50 in a jiffy, and the achievement will be yours.
High Noon ❗
Unlike the character chapters when you first started this 100% achievement journey, the side quests are available to all eight main characters of the game.
You can also choose which side quest to tackle first. It does not matter, because we will want to complete all of them in the end, before we tackle the final dungeon or bosses of the game.
Another useful tip is that you can freely swap the eight characters you have into two parties. The party which is not battling will passively regenerate, so you can swap in and out as needed.
To trigger the start of Cordelia’s side quest, go to Leornia in Cordelia’s world and enter the home of Cordelia to speak with Leona. If you have forgotten where Cordelia’s home is, it is the second house on the right that can be entered.
After that, head to Feolarn, which is the desert town southeast of Leornia. Go to Conover’s house.
A cut-scene will happen where it is revealed that Conover and Octavia had been kidnapped.
Now, head east of the town to Feolarn Outskirts and talk to the old man who will bring you to the Hawk Ridge.
Once you are at Hawk Ridge, simply keep going along the linear path and go through the sniper gauntlet event. During this time, there is a notable item.
- Hairpin (An accessory that provides an increase AP regeneration rate by 20%)
After some time, you will face Dewlin, who is the boss of Cordelia’s side quest. At this point, I would always try to use the ultimate skills of characters and using consumables as the tactic throughout the entirety of the game. This technique works all the way, especially if you funnel all the tomes and better equipment to a single or selected few characters.
You will be awarded with Hyperion, which is a strong gun for Nikolai.
The High Noon achievement will also trigger right after.
While you have already obtained the achievement, it can be noted that you can obtain Mithril Facewrap from Octavia once you are back at Feolarn. This is a helmet for Jerome.
Completing this side quest also allows you to purchase various guns from Octavia, such as the Oathkeeper. However, Hyperion is the stronger gun for Nikolai.
The most important reward, however, is the unlocking of the stat tome merchant who is near Octavia on her left.
HP Tomes = 20k Val
Strength Tomes = 50k Val
Magic Tomes = 60k Val
Speed Tomes = 120k Val
Luck Tomes = 50k Val
Evade Tomes = 40k Val
Speaking about tomes, while you can purchase them here, do always be on the lookout for the tomes in the world out there, where they are usually found at book shelves.
Or So I Herd ❗
As you can probably tell, character side quests might take some time, and it is essential that you read the dialogues available or else risk being lost for a long time.
Another tip which you should probably know by now, if you see sparkly white circles, signifying save points, that means a boss battle will be near!
To trigger the side quest for Juna, head over to Ben’s world, and move southeast of Mt. Nibaros. The forest you need to enter is a bit southeast of Siope Monastery.
After talking to the NPCs in the forest, you will know that there are two paths. Before going to the left path, which is the path that leads to the side quest story, we should aim to go to the right path instead first to Northeastern Wilds – Dragon Pond to get some goodies.
Be wary though as the enemies in the map will attack you without appearing in the map itself (something like Final Fantasy style wild battles). Two notable items at the north end of the pond:
- Silver Talisman
- Ram’s Horn (Helmet for Juna)
As mentioned, Theropods (dinosaur or dragon-like creatures) will occasionally attack your party, but two ultimates (From Cordelia, Agata, Nikolai, etc.) will do the trick.
After clearing the Dragon Pond, you can now head over to the left path. You will go through a long trek to reach Northeastern Wilds – River Run. At this point, simply follow the long road to another forest way. If you hear tribal music, you are probably on the right path.
Keep going through the long trek uphill to eventually reach Northeastern Wilds – Meeting Site. After a cutscene, you will receive Winged Harness (Accessory for Juna which makes Juna immune to Earth damage and Ensnare). You will also obtain the achievement too after.
The Way We Were ❗
For most side quests or locations, you can simply fly. You do not walk unless you are in a dungeon. Another thing to take note of is that you might have to reach or discover a location before the name of the place will be revealed in the world map.
To trigger Ben’s side quest, go to Ben’s world and head southeast towards Akos. Do not enter Akos however as the location is not in the town but somewhere nearby.
On the way to Akos, you will notice a cottage in the middle of the hills that is impossible to reach without flying. You can near the cottage and enter a place called “Orphanage”.
After the cutscene, you will know you are actually in one of your childhood friends Stani’s farm. From there, simply talk to the kids in the map and after yet a couple of cut-scenes, the achievement will trigger.
One notable item to take note of is the Crownucopia. This can be attained by going to shop at the left of Stani’s Farm to purchase the helmet, which allows Ben’s buffs to last longer in battles.
Defense of the Homeland ❗
Do note that some of the side quest or hidden quest will require you to travel between different worlds to meet the objectives. Not everything is situated in a single world.
Now, on to Nikolai’s side quest, head to Nikolai’s world. After which, head to Therme (Nikolai’s hometown). This is south of Auslen.
Once you are in Auslen, you can head over to the inn area to kick-start Nikolai’s side quest. Defeat the officer (it is an extremely easy battle so not much to say here) and you will obtain Heartstone Plate, which is a good armor that provides high def and hp, and can be equipped by Agata, Nikolai, Juna or Jerome.
Next, enter and traverse through Thermewald Cave. Two notable items here are:
- Knight’s Mane (Accessory that provides 30% chance to counterattack)
- Penumbral Casque (Helmet that provides some accuracy, magic def and luck)
Once you are at the mountain village, you will find out the sad fate of what happened there and after the cut-scene, you will be back at Therme.
Your next objective will be to defend the town with whatever defense forces are left with your life!
Keep heading to the direction the game prompts and defeat the enemy soldiers. They should serve no difficulty for you. However, the battle with the commander will take a while, as he keeps summoning backup. Your focus is of course the commander himself, while you deal AOE damage when possible.
Once you have defeated the commander, you will Pvalichenko (Weapon for Nikolai), and after another cut-scene, the achievement will trigger.
Before you head off though, you can approach the man at the right of the town for an oracle card battle. This battle can only be unlocked once the Nikolai’s side quest is completed.
Once you win the card battle, you will be awarded with a Penumbral Mail.
Digenis Magos [Part 1] ❗
As we go through the various character side quests, I will include some additional bonus items that are along the way that can assist you in the adventures!
For Alexandra’s side quest, head to her world and go over to Seren, which is her starting town.
Once in the city, these are the paths to follow:
- Go to Central Wallside
- Head to the only building that you can enter near the center
- Talk to the man on the right once you are in the building
- Do note that you can also purchase a helmet for Alexandra, called Resistor 9000 from the man.
- Next, head over to West Wallside
- Enter Alex’s home/shop
After some cut scenes, you will need to traverse through Alex’s dream. You will be on the path to find out more on the sinister man/spirit that has been haunting Alexandra throughout the story, and that Magico, the rogue magician in Ben’s story is somehow involved.
Head to Ben’s world and go to Magico’s lab, which is northeast of Akos.
Travel through the lab and jump into the inflation gate. There will be times where you need to utilize those black gates to move about.
You will arrive in Astral Plane – Gateway. Simply go through the Astral Plane. It will be a couple of maps around the different planes.
The first objective here is to subdue three aspects tied to the sinister man.
1. Hector
2. Axtya
3. Vasilis as known as Magico
You will go through them in order so no worries on that front.
After uncovering Hector’s past, you will have to battle his homunculus/spirit. At first, you will think it is a boss battle, but it really is not. Simply fire your ultimate spell and defeat him easily.
After defeating Hector and returning to Magico’s Lab, you will have to pass several electricity pipe puzzles to enter the next memory plane.
On the way, there is a notable item in the lab, namely Grand Crown which is an accessory which gives a boost of +100 AP.
To obtain it, you will have to complete one optional electricity pipe puzzle in Magico’s Lab.
Next, enter into Axtya’s plane where you will traverse through her memory plane to find out what happened to her.
There are two notable items here:
- Miracle Rune (Accessory which makes wearer immune to all negative effects)
- Frostchill Rod (Weapon for Cordelia, but if you already have Arimateus’ Staff from Chimera Shrine (Refer to Loaded for Bear achievement section for more information), that staff will probably be better than this one)
Battle and defeat Axtya’s homunculus/spirit. Another easy battle as always!
Once you are out of the plane, you will be in Magico’s Main Lab, and nearby you can find a Penumbral Casque.
From here, just keep moving on and you will eventually reach Magico’s memory plane to find out his fate. Once you are at Magico’s chamber, do the rightful and defeat his homunculus/spirit and set him free.
Digenis Magos [Part 2] ❗
After several cutscenes, you must battle your way in the Astral Plane to have any chance of setting yourself free. At the end, you have to battle the Guardian. Before the battle, if you have Le Dernier’s Quil which is obtained from Earth Shrine, you can simply cast Tremor and the battle should be easily yours. If not, after several earth spells, the battle is easily won as well.
And after yet another few cutscenes, at long last, you face the nemesis of Alexandra’s side quest, Lanetes, whose story you will also experience while in the Astral Plane earlier. But no matter how noble or sinister his intention, it is time to put him down!
The battle will be a bit tougher than the other bosses in the side quest.
During the start of the battle, Lanetes will cast Spirit Anchor and force Alexandra to be in the battle for the rest of the fight, and you cannot swap her out. But no worries though, she can take care of herself!
Apart from that, I will use my favorite funneling technique to funnel lots of ethers and remedies to Cordelia (or any other character you chose to funnel with), and she will cast Almighty when able to. For Cordelia, the reason why remedies are required is due to her being silenced after casting her ultimate to balance her overwhelming power.
While Lanetes can hurt for quite a bit, simply get your healer to heal or use some potions/elixirs when required. There should be no issues after.
By defeating Lanetes, you will be awarded with Lombardy Zero (Weapon for Alexandra).
You are not done yet though. Traverse through the rest of the Astral Plane – Abyss and find the greatest treasure for Alexandra. You will know what/who it is if you read the story! Once all the cut-scenes are over, the achievement will trigger.
Strangely Familiar ❗
While the guide serves as reference points, it is still best to attempt to figure out your own strategies as there are simply multiple ways to beat the game.
For Agata’s side quest, you first have to go over to Ben’s world. Now is the time to head to Akos at the south.
Once you are in the town, there will be a couple of cutscenes which should trigger the start of her side quest.
Remember to head back to the town again and this time around, go over to Ben’s rented house. After a short cut-scene there, interact with the spoon at the right on the table. This will net you a Grandma’s Spoon (Weapon for Ben).
Especially for this Agata’s side quest, you have to be vigilant on the interactions with the NPCs else you may totally miss out on important hints on the locations.
Next up, head to Mordeyo, which is a Barbarian Town. The location is up northwest of Akos.
Once you are in the tiny town, head north to the first building you can see and talk to the man at the right once you are in the house.
After which, head to Siope Monastery up north. Once there, head northeast of the monastery, along the right path from the locked gate. It is there, you will trigger a cut-scene where you find Giorgios, the half-brother of Agata.
Keep moving on, and you will soon battle a giant wind stalker, which is a big bird. The battle will be easy so no worries about it!
After the cut-scene, you can prepare to head to the next location. Go to the Barbarian Camp, which is in Alexandra’s world, near the east area of the world.
After brief scenes as always, you can interact with the Barbarian Chief and battle with him and another half-brother of Agata. Agata sure have many siblings!
After another easy battle, you will be awarded with a Helmet of Orcus and a Priam (Helmet and Main-Hand weapon for Agata).
Next, head over to Ben’s world this time around, and proceed to Javelin Cave.
Once there, climb up the rope and cross the bridge, enter the cave to find a chest that nets you a Miracle Rune. Note that the step here is just for a bonus accessory item but does not really contribute to Agata’s side quest progression.
Finally, go back to Diotima, Agata’s half-sister back in Akos. After the cutscene, you will back outside the city and the achievement will trigger.
I'm a Doctor, I Can Help [Part 1] ❗
Hopefully, some of the pointers in the guide have salvaged your achievement run if you were a naughty one and did not read the dialogues! Next up, it will probably be the longest side quest for the game!
Introducing Jerome’s side quest! To trigger it, head over to Cordelia’s world and go to Leornia, the city where Cordelia lives at.
Once you are in the city, speak to the nearby group where you can see a couple, an officer and a child. They will be near the entrance of where you entered, so they will not be missed.
After that, head to Wilgram Mansion which is a house a little southeast of Leornia across the river.
After the cut-scene, talk to Inspector Thompson at Level Two, and you begin your journey to speak to all the characters in the mansion to identify the clues of what happened in the mansion.
Be it, guests, family members, or employees, do not be shy and speak all of them, as it is required to progress one way or another.
Do note you have to speak to them multiple times as more clues unveil through further interactions. What I like to do is to exhaust all available dialogue options and move to the next NPC(s).
Once you think you have enough information, do remember to head back to Carneau at the second floor to provide your existing clues to the officer.
Once you have enough information, you will be prompted to lookout for the mansion employees, Stokes and Lisette again as they might have further useful information. If you forgot who they are, they are the ones at Level One right at northeast corner of the mansion.
After that, speak to Carneau again. This time around, head back to Thompson at Level Two.
If you did right, and all the clues are discovered, there will be cut-scenes and you should be able to interact with the top right dresser of the room. If not, remember the golden rule of speaking and choosing all the dialogues available for all the guests.
This will bring you what may look like an empty room. But after a brief stint, you will be able to periodically identify the traps. Simply avoid them and keep moving towards the north of the room.
After you arrived at the desired location and several cut-scenes later, you will find out the truth of what exactly has happened.
You will also find a black cat when you are about to head back to the dresser.
After speaking to it, you can head back to the original world. Head to Nikolai’s world and go to Helva, a village southwest of Mt. Nibaros.
Enter the inn and rest by speaking to the innkeeper.
This will enable the cut-scene to collect the Lunar Butterfly.
Now, head back to Wilgram Mansion in Cordelia’s world.
Once you are back at the mansion, you will notice something is off.
After speaking with a few people, you will find out that a maze spell has been cast around the mansion. Time to be the ultimate detective or savior once again!
Traverse through the maze mansion and speak to all the characters you come across with to find out clues on where the teleportal points may lie in each room you teleported to.
Here are the rough locations of where you need to go:
- Southeast in the first room
- West in the second room (Left of the candle holders)
- Top left in the third room
- North of Warren in the fourth room (Towards the wall)
- In the fifth room, Stokes will provide you the ability to see magic squares (teleportal points of the maze)
From then on, you can find the squares and teleport around as you see fit. The maze is simple to crack though!
In one of the rooms, there is a notable item where a chest will net you Midas Gloves, an accessory that when equipped will provide double the VAL drops.
Keep going through the portals, and eventually you will be out of the maze and end up in Aldred’s house.
I'm a Doctor, I Can Help [Part 2] ❗
From there, head southwest of the map, and you will see the black cat again. The kitty will lead you further to Jessiah’s House.
Keep traversing through the house. Before you encounter Alfred and Catherine, go to the east and down the secret pathway to arrive at a treasure chest that will give you Bede’s Conch, which is a Helmet that provides some magic and boosts 15% of the character’s AP.
After interacting with the duo, and moving onward for a bit, you will enter another world again. After a short cut-scene, you will enter battle with a giant spirit. Simply blast your way to victory as always!
After some cut-scenes, you will also receive a Cat Charm, an accessory that boosts 250 HP and adds 20% HP and AP regeneration.
And you will be back out into the open world, and the achievement will be yours!
The Memory Golem [Part 1] ❗
The last of the character side quests available in the game. As mentioned, there is no order on which side quest you tackle. Just enjoy the game has to offer!
Firstly, go to Nikolai’s world and head southwest of Therme.
You will see a mountain-like area. Enter it and you will be in the Barbarian Forest.
Keep moving along the forest, and you will eventually hit a cut-scene outside a cave entrance. That should trigger the start of Zikaron’s side quest.
After a couple more scenes as well as talking with Dreyfuss in the cave, head over to the southwest of Stral, where you will come across a forested area. Enter it, and the area will be called Zrodlo. This is where you need to progress.
After moving for a bit, there will be a cut-scene and the reveal of traps in the cave.
You will have to make a calculated move to avoid the wards from spotting you, as well as finding switches to switch off the traps when possible.
If you get spotted, no worries however, as you simply restart from a checkpoint.
Keep traversing the cavern. There is a notable item where you get a Feather which boosts a character’s speed by 1.
While there are paths in this dungeon, similar to most dungeons in the game where many paths are available. Eventually you will arrive at the right one which leads you to a temple.
Keep moving through the temple, and you will get to the book you are tasked to find. After obtaining it, head back to Barbarian Forest and speak with Dreyfuss.
Next, head to Archives where the second book resides. It is in the swamp area northwest of Mt. Nibaros.
Once you are basement level two, head northwest to trigger a cut-scene.
You will also have to battle a fox creature, which is yet another easy battle.
After the task is done, head to Cordelia’s world and go to Leornia where the third book can be found.
Once in Leornia, head one map south and proceed to the east to find the university.
In the university, head downstairs to the rare books library. Talk to the man at the northwest of the library. You will have to remove one book from each shelf in the library to progress.
Here are the right books for the shelves:
- For the shelf beside the man, remove Munson’s Royal Reigns and the Great Charter
- Small black shelf beside, remove Proceedings of the World Explorer Society
- To the right of the black shelf, remove Ashbless’s Summa Sorcelogica
- Next to the previous shelf, remove Moir’s Airlock Components
- For the shelf directly south, remove Heckethorne: The Secret Societies of All Ages
- Shelf to the left, remove Cust’s The Wild East
- Shelf directly south again, remove Hallett’s Railway Survey Techniques
- Shelf to the right, remove Haddon’s Law of Magical Development
You can now talk to Harwell again to get the final book you require. Head back to the airship, which should trigger another cut-scene.
The Memory Golem [Part 2] ❗
Now, head to Alexandra’s world and go south of Seren to enter the mountains.
Traverse through the Yina Shrine.
There is a notable item here. At the first turn, head southeast into a hidden path to reach a treasure chest which contains Eye of Eternity (Helmet for Zikaron).
After some time, you will need to battle Chamuel, a giant golem.
Nothing to be said though as the battle is manageable. Defeat it to obtain Gevurah (Weapon for Zikaron).
After a couple of cut-scenes, the achievement will trigger.
While the side quest is completed, when you head back to the airship, you will unlock the airship shop.
You can also talk to Apingorix to obtain Jubilee Rose (Accessory that turns exp into VAL).
Forgotten but Not Gone 💰
Now we move on to achievements obtainable via side objectives. While there are many more objectives in the game, which you can probably explore in the Adventurer’s Guild in Cordelia’s world (southwest of Leornia), we will focus on the ones that give achievements.
However, you probably will need to visit the guild to find out the very first clues that will lead you to the shrine anyways.
The earth shrine can be found in Alexandra’s world, a little east of Seren in the caves above the island platform.
Do note this dungeon alongside the final dungeon, can be considered the tougher dungeons in the game. There are also a couple of box pushing and boulder pushing puzzles that you must clear to progress.
Feel free to watch the video on how to solve them.
Unfortunately for me, I wandered into this place pretty early in the game, but that is also where I came up with the funneling strategy to boost Cordelia to be the one lady army for most parts of the game.
While traversing the shrine, there are a couple of notable items in this dungeon either from chests, clearing the puzzles, or spoils of victory after defeating the dungeon boss.
- Crown of Moons (Helmet that provides a boost of magic def and 15 AP)
- Bone Mail (Armor that boosts your HP and Def)
- Archimedes (Accessory that grants wearer the ability to strike all enemies with normal attacks)
- Castle Rune (Accessory that makes wearer immune to wind damage as well as prevent you from being stunned while boosting some def)
- Le Dernier’s Quil (Accessory that allows Alexandra to learn the ultimate skill, Tremor, a strong AOE earth spell)
One advice especially for this dungeon. Be prepared to stock up on lots of revives, ethers and remedies especially if you choose to do this achievement in the early part of the open world exploration. The monsters pack quite a punch, and if you do the funneling technique, you will probably need lots of ethers and remedies. You can save some consumables by swapping characters too.
The final boss in Earth Shrine, which are two dinosaur-like creatures, will be quite a challenge!
Feel free to look at the video where I utilize the funneling technique to one character and sort of cheese through a tough boss at the early stage of the free exploration stage.
Plan ahead of time, and your AP management such that if you need to rest or use consumables, or if it is the right time to land a hit on the enemies. Eventually, you will be rewarded with the victory. After which, you just have to progress a tiny bit and when you uncover the shrine housing the final treasure chest, the achievement will be yours!
Loaded for Bear 💰
To be able to do this achievement, you must complete Cordelia’s side quest. Do refer to the High Noon achievement section for more information about the prerequisite quest.
Upon completing Cordelia’s side quest in Cordelia’s world, after you speak with Octavia in Feolarn, she will mention about spooky occurrences in the mines in Dustwind Gulch, a bit east of the town.
Once inside Dustwind Gulch, head north to the first cave you see and enter that one.
You will be in place called Mineshaft.
Keep going north and you will arrive at a shrine which will also trigger the battle with the Chimera, Bobby.
Upon defeating the monster, you will be awarded with Arimateus’s Staff (Weapon for Cordelia that also teaches her other element spells) and the achievement as well.
Canon Immigrant 💰
The illusive achievement, seemingly the rarest achievement obtained by players. This achievement is not difficult, but you really have to catch on to the clues to be able to stand a chance at it. No worries as this section will guide you through.
Edit: The locations of the duck dog for every run can be different. As such, the locations are randomized. Do refer to the thread below for more information on other possible locations.

Will be listing the ones that I encountered for mine!
Head to Ben’s world and go to the northeast island in the world map.
Enter the caves and interact with the Duck Bird.
It will zoom off and run away. There will be a clue left behind however indicating somewhere residing of sunbaked wastes.
Head to Cordelia’s world and to Dustwind Gulch. Simply head a little north and the Duck Bird will be there waiting.
Interact with it to engage it to a battle.
The battle is easy and after a couple of turns, the Duck Bird will escape from the battle and run off again. As always, a clue will be revealed stating a place that smells like a swamp.
Next, head to Alexandra’s world and go to the swamp, which is a bit southwest of Mt. Nibaros.
Once there, head towards the west and engage the Duck Dog again.
This time around, you will have to defeat it. Upon winning the battle, the Duck Bird will run off towards who knows where, but you will obtain Magical Sausage (Accessory for Ben which improves his healing abilities) and the achievement will trigger as well.
A Reckoning 📖
I have placed this achievement at the bottom as this one might be the final achievement (If you opt for all the other side objectives) instead of placing them alongside other main story achievements.
Now is the time to face your destiny. To defeat the final boss and find out the ending of the great story! The final dungeon is long and grueling, with some bosses in play, but this means this place packs quite a number of notable items.
As always, have lots of consumables ready. At this point, VAL should be no issues for you. There are also save points around the dungeon. In the worst case, you can always backtrack back to ship and heal. Most of the normal monsters can be dodged while you progress if you choose to do so.
Head over to the large mountain in any of the character worlds. Once you are in, there will be a cut-scene and you go start your journey upwards!
Traverse through the mountain/shrine. After a while, you will arrive at a stairwell, that triggers a battle with a simple mini boss battle.
The party will then be split into two, and you must choose which four characters will stay in the party.
The first party will always head left while the second will head in the direction to the right. So do balance your members wisely. But truth to be told, you should be at the point of the game where you are feeling extremely strong. So there really is no need for much worries.
Do note that at the end of each gauntlet, where both left and right will end off with a unique boss each so be prepared (Karyiatide for the left and Sundergolem for the right)! The bosses will take awhile but they are not difficult.
For the notable items mentioned in the final dungeon, do look out for hidden paths as well as vines to reach the treasure chests housing those items!
Notable items for the party that goes to the left:
- Mark of Aritea (Accessory that boosts 30 Atk and 5 Mag)
- Champion Belt (Accessory that boosts 25 Str
- Diadem (Accessory that boosts 50 AP)
Notable items for the party that goes to the right:
- Penumbral Mail
- Crown of Moons
- Rabbit’s Foot (Accessory that boosts 15 Luk)
After both battles have concluded, the parties will merge back. Now, traverse through the remainder of the temple/shrine.
During this trek, there are a couple of notable items yet again:
- Feather Necklace (Accessory which gives 2 Spd)
- Hairpin
- Shield Ring (Accessory that boosts 50 Mdef)
You will arrive at another boss, which serves as the final guardian to the mountain shrine. The boss will have 3 separate parts, namely the Left Hand (Reaper), the Right Hand (Giver) and the Body (Arbiter).
While it may seem menacing at first, you simply just need to AOE down the boss. No biggies!
After a bit more upwards stretch, you will finally arrive at your destination and face off with the final boss of the game, Uralt. He may be an old man, but he is fierce and resolute and is actually very strong.
Most importantly, there are three phrases in the fight, each making him even stronger.
Phase 1
Phase 2
Phase 3
Just stay on your toes, keep up your health and AP wisely, and it’s a battle of attrition. You will be victor in the end! Do note that in the final phase, Uralt’s attack are heavily AOE and hits like a truck. Do plan your heals, and do not hesitate to use strategies. For me, I use Nikolai, to just attack normally and hold his AP to be able to cast his support ultimate to revive and heal everyone to max. Do consider defensive buffs too as that will help.
Upon the end of the cut scenes, the achievement will trigger. Enjoy the rest of the story and the credits!
Conclusion 💡
Quartet is a wonderful game that awards your time with the great experience of classic RPGs tied with awesome music and stories. The gameplay may seem generic, but there are definitely strategies involved at times while the difficulty is kept manageable.

The game developers are actively improving the game with constant updates and there is also a hard mode if you think the normal set is too easy for you. In the future, there are definitely more interesting and fun updates that provides even more value to this already refined game.

Thanks to everyone who actually read this guide and apologies if there are some inaccurate terms or mentions in the guide.

Will be working on putting some videos relating to the game such as the 100% Achievement Gameplay as well as the entire 100% Guide Creation process if you want to take a peek. Other WIP are things related to the puzzles in some of the side quests.
