Quick notes

  • First mod of this installment.
  • Trying new things to stop Lua and C# from fighting.
  • Early version — expect crashes.
  • Enjoy and have fun.

Roadmap

  1. Tweak the incubation to only occur after equipping egg to clothing slot
  2. Add incubation stages (start as infant, grow bigger?)
  3. Add armor variations
  4. Fix health overlay

THANK YOU. This is so cool: I always felt like some creatures in this game had strangely good synergy with humans that's never explored

Mudraptors in particular can transition from land to sea without trouble, excel in EVA maneuvering, carry equipment.. It's such a cool aesthetic having divers alongside a Mudraptor.

The mod works well transforming you the player characters into a Mudraptor but other than that I'm confused as to what it does else, bots turned into Mudraptors don't seem to be able to do their tasks (tasks like driving the sub, operating sub weapons, operating the sub reactor, following other characters) that human player Mudraptor are able to do (they also just stand there where they are without moving much and act stupid as though they've been lobotomized), this very niche mod is awesome for Mudraptor enjoyers like me so I hope this'll be more refined and developed soon.

As of now you can only harvest from the vanilla mudraptors, and support for other mods is not in the pipe, especially when it requires 60 variants of a human controllable mudraptor :|

Do you happen to know about a specific Mudraptor mod called "More and Larger Petraptors"? The mod adds more variant to the Mudraptors and I'm curious as to how this mod might interact with that mod, would I be able to harvest genes from them?
This is probably isn't something worth your time but for curiosity sake it might be nice to check on it.
